Duh! We were so busy looking at the height restriction of the tunnel heading in from the west, we totally missed the GIANT yellow sign telling us the road was closed ahead. hahaha
Turns out the road is closed here till June 2025. Found out the hard way coming from the west and arriving not far from here at road barriers with signs. No previous signs either. Image attached re roadworks.
Easy find. Working our way through this series on our regular trips out here camping! Tftc
Gotcha !!! Quick trip down the old Glen Innes to Grafton road . Only ever been GI to Dalmorton
so we were looking forward to seeing more of the rivers. The scenery did not disappoint .

2 cars came past while was at this cache. Haven't seen any others the while time other than an oversize truck which came at the right time as I was at a spot i could pull off the road altogether. Tftc
Found with MDT79 and Gum62 on so wonderful Geocache explore weekend from Port Macquarie/Taree to Glen Innes and Grafton via Old Grafton Glen Innes Rd TFTC
Out caching with Bill and Di Morgan today, and our focus was the Pod Cast series. We both still had all of them to do, and the day was going to be sunny. Set off about 8.30, knowing that it was going to be a while on the road getting to each cache GZ.

We have now set up camp at Grafton greyhound club for three days.
Today we chose to take a country drive to do many of the Pod Cast series of caches, that have been published since we were here last.
We met up again with our caching companions Snakepiters today, great to be caching with them again.
