Beautiful bay view. Access via side street not the public access walking track is easiest we found. Tftc
This morning I came to OConnors Beach to do Parkrun sadly however it was cancelled due to a lack of volunteers. I was gutted but still ran the course anyway but it wont count on my stats. Afterwards I came here to find this cache, we tried to look for it yesterday but the tide was too high. This morning it was a glorious walk and a nice quick find at GZ. Looks like this cache has been recently maintained and was in excellent order. TFTC
I have scouted this cache before but being short on time I didnt go for it. Knowing from my scouting where I should approach from this was quicker than I expected. The tide was slightly out so the walk was fairly easy. Tftc
Nice stroll along the bay at almost high tide. No worries apart from our spastic one eyed sheep dog.TFTC
Beautiful crisp, clear, bright and sunny day with not a breath of wind ............................ and no people ! Sometimes called muggles . Followed some funny little sets of wheel tracks along the waterfront to GZ. Quickly had the neat and tidy little cache in hand, signed and returned as found. Thanks so much for placing a cache in this otherwise barren location, so far as caches are concerned.
Really should have read the description before tackling this one!!!GPS took us above GZ and to a vacant block. Getting to the cache that way wasn't an option but nearby there was a sign indicating a track to the beach. Headed down that quite a way but it was taking me in completely the wrong direction. Returned to the car, read the description and then travelled down to the jetty where after a short, pleasant, flat walk I was soon at GZ.The cache was then quickly found. Thanks CalamityChloe.
Thanks for this little cache along a quiet beach. Love the tin, a flavour of lollies I have enjoyed in the past!
Lovely day for a stroll along the beach with some assistance for the reaching the cache from a muggle friend TFTC
Today we further explored our back yard finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that have been published since our last visit. A nice stroll along the beach and a quick find at GZ as the tide was only half way in.We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to the CO for your cache placement.
Heading up the east coast after completing the 3 Capes Walk.Found on our way into St Helens. A nice walk along the beach. No way would the lid come off and it has sharp edges which makes it difficult to try. We signed the paper on the bottom of the tin!!!Thanks Calamity Chloe for the cache and bringing us here.
A bit difficult as it was hidden under twigs but I did find it! Great first Geocache!!!!
One other thing is that I wasnt able to get it open, It seems like the years havent been nice to the tin. Sadly I wasnt able to write in the logbook but I still enjoyed the adventure
A quick find with frmen1. Saw one item and thought, "wow! That's big!". Then checked the description...that's not it lolFound as per hint suggested. Difficult to open for me, but frmen1 persisted. TFTC
A nice short walk along beach and a quick find. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
Found it! Couldnt get the lid open unfortunately, but I left some shells and a piece of cuttlefish I found on the beach in the bag with it.
This was an enjoyable walk to GZ but I couldnt open the cache to sign the log so Ive sent a photo to the CO as proof of my find. Then I noticed we had a bright red paw print following us back to the Ute. It seems GeoCleo sliced her paw open on something. Its 4.30pm, the vet closes at 5, so instead of grabbing the next couple of caches, it was back to the local vet. All is good, a dose of antibiotics and rest for my 4 legged friend.TFTC CalamityChloeKeep smiling
On our long term trip from Germany to Western Australia / Tasmania / New Zealand for about 3,5 month, we arrived Tasmania and picked up some caches. This one was a quick and easy found. TFTC
Took a bit to find, for the cache was buried (not far) under the twigs (yet buried caches are not usual). Thankfully the hint lead me to start scraping the ground for the cache around the rock, and I finally uncovered it.The cache was in a plastic bag, yet the log book (slip of paper in the cache) could use an extra plastic bag for waterproofing. (I carry extra ziplock bags for replacing log book bags, yet my bags were too big for this smaller tin cache.TNLN
Day 2 of my St Helens Trip, targeting: Golden Oldie / High Fave Point / D and T Star Caches, (and whatever is in my path).I parked nearby and just wandered along the beach to this one.At GZ i spotted the rock and made the find immediately, i do love that seeing it was hidden well.SL at 09:06 on 8/11/23.All is dry within the cache.TFTC CalamityChloe
Walked down to the water from our accomodation as it was only 500 m to the cache. Coords spot on. TFTC
Beautiful little beach. A quick find as it was just sitting there. Did hide as per hint. Thanks for the cache!
Found it once before with Geo Maggie, but obviously forgot to log it. Logged now. Found, stamped and replaced, with Maggie and Mollie, my GeoWesties, while roaming around Tasmania with our motorhome “Mylittlebus” looking for content for our TASMANIA ALL OVER facebook page. Thanks for placing this cache (and others), keeping us on our exploring toes.
Staying in St Helens we headed out to locate caches nearby and as far afield as Derby and this was one we found. It was a lovely day to be out caching. When on the right level, cache was an easy find. TFTC
Jetstar was having a sale…. in the middle of winter, for a destination further south than I already live. That sounds like a great idea!
So a plan for a 4 night whirlwind tour of the northern part of the state was hatched. I’ve seen lots of this beautiful state, but haven’t found a single cache. With plenty of challenges to tick off, and a long list of targeted caches, this week is the time to turn that around.
Todays adventure takes me west from Launceston to St Helens via Beaconsfield, Low Head, Bridport and Scottsdale.
I had checked in to my accommodation and had some time before dinner so decided to grab a couple more caches. I parked nearby and set off for an evening walk along the shore to GZ and found the cache shortly after. Nice views!
Thanks CalamityChloe for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Amazing view from spot took me a while to find but got it in the end I put something in but took nothing out. Good spot have fun trying to find it
This cache was a number of caches found today, on our trip from Launceston to St Helens via the back roads to Mathinna, Mt Albert Road and Argonaut Road.
The aim was to do maintenance on Little Blue Dune Buggy but due to many vehicles blocking access to the beach (one with a blown clutch and another with a trailer!!), I decided to head for home and come back at a later date. Caching has helped keep my mind busy as we mourn our friend. Sorry for the generic log.

This afternoon is too lovely to be indoors. More sightseeing and smiley gathering to be done. TFTC
Well I got to within a metre but could not climb onto the flat area it is on! Too old to climb up from when on my own. Thanks anyway Calamity Chloe.
In St Helens for the weekend with the grandchildren and daughter. This was an interesting walk as the tide was going out!

It was a wild and wooly day in St Helens today, but we weren't deterred in looking for this cache. Even though the tide was low, the wind was pushing the water up on the rocks. Found the cache relatively quickly, despite the clue not directly related to where we found the cache. Replaced as found so hopefully its in the right spot. Made a speedy retreat back to the car to get out of the wind. TFTC CalamityChloe
We are camping further north with tassietan and had to come back into town for supplies, so we decided to make a caching day of it.
It was pretty windy and grey today, and cold wandering along the rocks.
Thanks for the cache CalamityChloe

After a walk along the beach we arrived at GZ and started our search.
When not having much luck we read through some old logs and found a handy bit of info that helped us locate the prize.
TFTC and for bring us to this location with fantastic views across the water.

Nice walk to this cache, cache was found quickly.
Took nothing, but left a geocoin to continue its travels.

I was looking around but I didn’t find it and I navigated it to but no sign of it.
Although a very rainy day we decided to have a look at St. Helen's point and walk a bit in the Peron sand Dunes. What a beautiful spots. On our way to the camping found some caches too. Happy us
Thanks for placing the caches and wet feet as well.

Travelling with Angus 88. Bit of a hike along the beach and down the cliff. A nice find.Thank you for the cache from GeoMaggie and her sidekick Bonnie.
Found it! After a bit of a search. Wouldnt come in high tide and wish id worn sneakers
Today we're headed up the northeast coast for a few day's getaway with Porkchop6977. Although he's elected to head up the coast, we've decided to head up the Midland Highway before heading coastwards via Fingal.
Eventually we made it to the coast, and headed for some lunch in St Helens. Porkchop was still a little behind (having been kept busy caching up the coast), so we elected to head for the one cache in town that we hadn't gotten last time we were in the area - this one.
Google Maps had us parking at the beach access off Chimney Heights Rd, and it wasn't long before we realised we'd been led astray. Oh well, an extra couple of hundred metres it is! On the plus side though, we found a flock of St Helen's friendly pelicans at the beach which allowed us to approach within 5m or so, which was pretty awesome!
After eventually tearing ourselves from the pelicans, we made the wander along the beach to GZ. The GPSr led us pretty much straight to the hide, but somewhere along the lines our wires got crossed and we ended up looking in all the wrong places, despite things seemingly being obvious. Little did we know at the time, Mr Nataliec1234 even came within centimetres of trampling the cache at one point.
Eventually we realised we'd messed something up, and went back to square one. We soon realised our mistake and, within moments, finally had hands on the cache.
Definitely a memorable find, for a number of reasons! Thanks for the cache!
