We took a scramble along the moon rocks after a snorkel at Honeymoon Bay. Lovely sharks and cuttlefish! Over-sided bison tube indeed!

GAP YEAR BIG LAP - PART 2: THE ROAD TRIP - Day 28 After admiring Point Perpendicular, we continued our tour of Beecroft Weapons range with a picnic lunch at Honeymoon Bay. It was a nice grassy park with kangaroos relaxing in the shade. The sun was out here so great views across the bay. After lunch we walked around the camp area to see the little bay then out onto the rocks. It was an unusual landscape with these interestingly eroded rock ledges & lots of little shells. At GZ, we soon uncovered the big orange bison in the black rock. Well hidden & guarded by another colour.#3894 @ 1335TFTC KemblaKrew

Out on a spontaneous trip to the Jervis Bay markets with a couple of muggle friends (who indulge my caching needs) and instead of ending up at the markets, google maps sent us here. Not to worry. We grabbed some local take away and spent the evening in this location. Lots of muggles about but I was able to easily retrieve the cache, sign the log and relocate it - the fact that it looked like the setting sun helped. Speaking of setting sun.......wish the clouds weren't hanging around as it would have been a spectacular sight over the bay! Anyway, TFTC.

Didn't take as long as I thought it would as this place has a million maybe more hiding spots.Then went 60 metres along and retrieved my "Heavenly Honeymoon" cache that was archived by the mediator during covid because I couldn't get down to check when it was deemed missing due to a couple of DNFs but no there it was snug as you like in it's not too difficult to find spot. Never mind I have new spot in mind for it before I head home.Anyone who puts a cache around here needs a fav point so one awarded.TFTCIronbark.

With a few hours to spare this Saturday afternoon I drove to Currarong and arrived only half an hour before sunset. Luckily all open and I found myself making pictures on the moonrock beach for sunset, spectacular. Then walked over to the cache and made a quick find

Lots of rocks! No dice tho

I was having trouble with this one as my gps refused to settle, pushing me this way and that. Even messaged the CO and the last finder for help. Was leaving disappointed and noticed a likely hide in the opposite direction to where I was looking and being pointed to. Thank goodness for that.
Nice container. All dry inside and glad to get this off my list on the peninsula.

Got it! My first ever cache and it’s also a [FTF]! Took us about 20min to find it!
Didn’t have a pen on me as I was there for honeymoon bay but tried to imprint with a stick and placed it in the tube as proof hahaha
