We were looking on the wrong side for a while until Steve climbed through the hole in the fence. Thanks to his height, there was no problem retrieving the cache; however, the logbook could do with some TLC.I think we must have found this cache not long before it was disabled. Thanks for the cache 2DeafOrangutans.
----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###----------Hi there 2DeafOrangutans,It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident. The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.#What you need to do:-#You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored. - **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page. You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above. Thanks for your cooperation,Bunjil (Pete & Helen)Volunteer Reviewers - Australia[3B]
Very quick find. Was expecting to need something to retrieve, however was at a decent height. Many thanks.
Almost called a DNF successors avenged! Couldnt log bc log is too ripped and wet, so we are doing a photo log
Another lovely afternoon walk here, after spotting someone in a car right infront of GZ I was trying my best to not look dodgy to retrieve this one. With a little bit of a look where I expected the cache itself to be, I was quickly proven to be very correct. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure!
TFTC, however no luck for us today. Oh well, it gives frilk, myself and the dog an "excuse" to go back to the park another day.
After receiving a response from a PAF, a quick detour and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for placing it for all to enjoy.
A lovely Sunday for a spot of caching with Geoturtle37.We spent ages searching for this one, trying to find something that matched the hint. We read previous logs, to no avail. Eventually a PAF helped us to find the elusive cache. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, 2DeafOrangutans ~~
Well, this took some finding. I looked all over the tree at "GZ" and found nothing. Then I saw another three-limbed tree in the shrubs and wondered if my coords were out, so off I went to investigate that. Nope!! I returned to the OG tree and saw something shining in the light. What d'you know there was the cache!**Cache Health Check**: The cache is fine. However, the log, which is a bit ratty, may need replacing soon.
Found at 12:59Found without much trouble once I waited for a break in the muggle traffic. Thanks 2DeafOrangutans for the cache
Tricky find! Had to keep trying different angles until I caught a glimpse! Great hide!
Another fun find on a lovely evening stroll out geocaching with mrx2 and diablo1234. TFTC
Great park for a walk and caches. Found with monica_is_evil and mrx2. Thanks for placing the cache.
*24 Feb 2024, Found @1:36PM, Find # 3793.*Out for the day with Mazza-G after a long spell of no caching. This one took some searching. I found it helped if you were looking at the right angle**Thanks to 2DeafOrangutans for placing this cache.**
Ive attempted this cache before without any luck. Today I came back with reinforcements (Jascat) and the search began. I had my hands on this cache without even knowing. It was when I stood back, looked again in the area I was feeling and noticed something that needed checking again. As I was having another feel around Jascat exclaimed that I had it. So I did! Nicely done. A favourite for the day. TFTC
Finally found it, on try #3, or was it #4? Thank you for the hide! A bit of storm damage nearby, but the cache is safe.
This was the third time I've looked for this cache, and to be honest I was almost ready to PAF as I couldn't understand why I kept failing to located the hide, when I finally, finally... spotted something, which was indeed the container.Turns out that even with height (I'm just over 6') angle of view is still important, and while I thought I could see everything from where I was looking, that was not the case.A very nice little hide, 2DeafOrangutans, worth a fave point from me, even though I still have no idea what the reference or meaning of "Tweeter" is.
I was literally in the process of writing the owner a note saying I give up please help. But then my daughter found it! Not sure how I missed it the last few times even though I looked from multiple angles. Turning the frown upside down!!
Enjoying our walk around this open space, we were happy to convert this one to a smiley after abandoning the tree climbs much to misters reluctance yes you are not that young anymore
Went for a walk with my brothers knowing that this park had some more caches to find, we found 5/6 of the intended caches. Thanks for placing these here, there were some fun tree climbs and caches. Wasnt sure how to approach, but after a bit of tippy toes, we had the cache in hand. Thanks
**10/01/2024, 10:19:00****Find #5669****Traditional Find #3393**Steve and I headed out early on a perfect morning for a paddle. A FTF was up for grabs as well as a number of recently published caches. After having found all the caches in the park, I headed here for one more and managed to drive almost to GZ and reach the cache through the fence. After I had returned the log to its container and looked around and saw a large hole in the fence which I could have stepped through which would have made everything just that much easier. [:o)]The log has been wet and just jammed into the bison at some stage and needs replacing.**Thank-you to 2DeafOrangutans for placing this geocache**
I've been past this tree many times on my own and with the geo dog without any luck. But today, I had muggle hubby and muggle son and geodog with me. Son 21 is autistic and doesn't come out very often, so I was happy just to have him with me, it was him who found the cache in the end. So much praise and encouragement was given in the hope he'll come out with me again. TFTC
Spent ages looking in the wrong spot. Took my geo child to work it out. Good hide!
After a shopping trip to purchase some pretty plants, it was time to find this nearby cache.A short walk later and the cache was in hand between muggles.thanks for the cache
Catching up on logs .. last time I was in the area I had a quick glance but too many muggles on the other side of the wire didnt give me the opportunity to search. Today I parked close by and could just see the cache so it was a quick find between muggles. Despite being short I was able to reach the cache but used a small step to replace it. Thanks 2DeafOrangutans for placing the cache
Came here after lunch for some Geocaching and came home empty handed. However whilst searching I read the description provided and the lack of grammar and punctuation made it very confusing. So I turned to the hint which led to more mystery and confusion. Then I turned to comments by past finders and attributes. However they contradicted each other saying it was up high and in a hole but didn't require tree climbing. However saying I didn't have fun would be a lie and the location was fantastic with clear blue skies and a shimmering lake. Thanks for the goose chase orangutan.
It not confused it challenge what hide and seek game so try it again .. yesterday someone found it easy some nor Good luck
Finding GZ was not a problem, but we were on the wrong side of the fence. Not a problem as there is an access point through and we then quickly found the cache. Great little hide.
Found this today on our Saturday Afternoon South West to the Bay Afternoon. I looked up and down for a while before "HA" got out of the car and spotted it straight away. Our 5th ever find along this road. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Came to the park for some caching on a sunny late-Winter’s day. The good old “geokid on the shoulders” trick worked wonders here. TFTC
No luck today, although the coordinates were very clearly pointing at a specific tree...
Found with icw. We knew where GZ should be, but it took icw's greater stature to come up with the goods. Tftc.
Another easy one found after I got my arboreal me going also said ahh from distance space junk. TFTC
