#108 Thank you so much as always Aussie Pam. Love your caches and appreciate the effort you put in. A few people have been stuck on this one or confused so a few hints to follow. Don't read on if you don't want a hint. There are many places it could be... -As the cache hint says its on the top level. It's along the base of the wall (from a top level perspective) and you don't need to reach over the wall or do anything dangerous. -It's not the old lid stuck in a crack and you do not need to poke anything out or any tools to extract the cache. -GZ coordinates are around a metre off. If you are facing the wall it's further to your right. -Old mate Jimmy could *move* anyone with his music and was an absolute *stone*r from way back when. Thanks again Aussie Pam!
I had to come to the city today to collect my new passport, so figured I'd make a day of it and stop for a few caches on my way back to the Central Coast.A straightforward find here after making my way from Milsons Point to North Sydney station ... I spotted something that looked like it could be camo as soon as I got to GZ and lo and behold, there it was! A bit of a surprise after reading of the difficulties many have had with this hide! Thanks for creating this interesting cache, AussiePam ... and for the great view!
Keeping it simple with a few geocache finds each day. Havent been to North Sydney for six months so lets start here. Solved the puzzle some time ago, cant recall as its all purple haze A quick find after nightfall with zero stationary muggles. Thanks AussiePam for this fun geocache.
If people have the tools to get it out. As neither of the tools l had could move the pebble I did not find it absolutely fine . And I tried to move it for some time.
I worked out GZ and this evening this was to be my last find today, but it wasn't. I alighted at North Sydney Station and battled the strong wind to GZ. Not the first place I looked, but soon I had found the cache. Unfortunately I couldn't get the cache out. I tried for ages. I tried sticks, a metal rod I had. NOTHING could budge the object in front of it. I spotted it in my torch light (getting dark), and the colour is apt. So close, I found it, could see it, but couldn't extract it to sign the log. DNF. Not sure when I can return. Next year perhaps. I don't live in Sydney. Lovely view of the Harbour Bridge though from here. Then back to the train and onto Central Station and my hotel near there.
On my mission around North Sydney I swung by this roughly an hour ago where it was muggles galore. So I left it be, went away to grab some lunch and have back to make a nice quick grab! TFTC!
Love the purple puzzle, the purple art sculpture and the purple cache. 7 year old son enjoyed this one! Thanks for the hunt.
Struggled with this , not sure what the pebble is about , I had to move on as muggles invaded my space.
Had morning tea at GZ. Once we searched at the correct level, we found it. TFTC AussiePam
After checking the local caches this morning, I saw this puzzle and thought, why not, Ill have a go. Saw something that looked like a possible spot and had a look around for a bit. No luck but figured I was in the right area. Returned to where I was working today and tried to solve the puzzle. Boy did I overthink this one before accidentally figuring out what needed to be done, 15 min solve on the iPad and I was in the right spot at GZ.Once at right level, find was a quick one.TNLNSLTFTC
This was my third visit to this cache. The first time the area had numerous muggles close by and so I left without a real search. The second time I simply did not find it. This time I went with Ms Atalanta and while she was looking at one level, I was searching the other and found it quite quickly, helped in part by a comment in one of the prior logs.TFTC
Accompany with OZUK for the day. Find it and sign the log. Thank you for the puzzle and hunt.
A great puzzle I solved a little while ago and had the opportunity tonight to come and do a few caches on this side of the Harbour. Got my levels a little skewed but eventually made the find in low light!
A quick solve and a relatively quick find in the morning once I was on the correct level. TFTC!
Day 2: Lane Cove and North Sydney
Today’s plan was to strike north of the Harbour for two main reasons: to get the Lane Cove Virtual and to find a Letterbox cache in Sydney. The weather was lovely today, and despite walking almost 25k steps, it really didn’t feel like it, and I return to the city a really happy cacher
(End of the cut and paste section)
Next one on the route to complete the Blue AL, and this is indeed a nice spot with an excellent view (as pointed out by yet another Multicache). The Jigidi was a welcome weekend diversion, and the cache was found after a Muggle couple moved away from the area. TFTC and puzzle!

This has been on the solved list for a while and cost to a work location but last year it went missing and needing a find for the day realised this was close so headed over. One of many cache guardians was closely watched as the camo and themed hide was soon found. We completed the signing duties and re hid, TFTC
Solved this last night while I couldn’t sleep so had to come out and grab it today. Tftc
After a DNF a couple of weeks ago, we returned with intention. We ended up finding the appropriate container in an interesting place. If you follow the advice in the hint, exercise caution and don’t lean back. The most prominent camouflage we found had a surface and size different than that described in the hint. Nice location. SL TFTC Cheers…. Gaztek
Working from home and needed a break so came out for a walk to GZ. Good match for the cache name. Looks like there’s been some heavy sitters here. I searched unsuccessfully but then the office called. I had a lovely place to sit and sort a few things out for a colleague. Will watch with interest and see what turns up. Cheers… Gaztek
After a find or two late in the day, so headed just north of our state capital to make a few finds. In the end I went for three, but only found two of them. Not sure if the DNF was AWOL (there was vandalism at GZ) or just too good.
But the finds were good. I'll take then!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Easy solve, but the find at GZ?
Doesn't help that the coords are all over the place here. But the satellite shot seems logical.
But in the fading light (and torchlight) I couldn't spot anything here.
Not going to say it's not here, but...

Walked past this while working on the same CO’s AL. Quick find this time around, thanks AussiePam
Pretty sure we were in the right place, but couldn’t spot any of the hint’s second item. Off to the pub now to commiserate. Thanks anyway.
Another puzzle that was an easy solve last week. At gz it was very busy and my coordinates had me at a particular spot but I wasn’t sure if I should go there so contacted the CO who confirmed that was where I needed to be. The nicely colour themed cache was found in good condition. Cool spot. Tftc
Feels like a *FTF* when you sign a blank log book. Nice location. It will be busy tonight. Voodoo child is my favourite Hendrix tune. Best played at eleven first thing in the morning.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

The second in a string of 3 DNF's around North Sydney. The phone pointed me away from an area indicated by the hint. A read of some logs suggested the elevation to search but again I walked away empty handed. Starting to think I should have stayed on the other side of town .
Could picture where it was hidden as seen by a piece of camo but nothing today
When I first arrived at GZ there was a lady meditating, I grabbed a few others and headed back….the muggle was gone but I didn’t find the cache.
I’ll be back another day as purple was my favourite colour as a child

This was the only find for the day. Whilst on the train earlier in the week, I completed the puzzle, which helped pass the time due to the slower trains resulting from the industrial action. It was slightly difficult on the smaller iPad screen but I persevered and was presented with a beautiful purple image. Today, I decided to head back in to locate the cache. I had already battled the weather earlier in the week so I came prepared. Fortunately, I was able to make use of some breaks in less than desirable weather. I came across GZ relatively easily and had remembered the clue but then I found myself stuck circling GZ looking for something that would stick out. I read past logs, looked in the gaps, and tried resetting the compass and still nothing was showing up. Then I decided to take another look at a slightly different angle to the clue and sure enough, a bright purple cache stared back at me. SL. TFTC.

Puzzle solved some time ago, today doing a nearby AL the elder GeoTeen and I swung by and made a straightforward find in an obvious spot. Thanks!
Met up with Jennyfromthefarm to do the secret garden night cache nearby. It wasn't yet quite dark enough so we went to do few others nearby before. I'd actually looked to place a cache in this park early on when I wanted to do my first hide but didn't find a suitable location. After a bit of creative thinking Jennyfromthefarm had soon found the little purple hidden container.
This one took a little searching as we were on the wrong level but soon laid hands on it. A great view of harbour bridge from here.
OCW discobob3 tonight and we had the secret garden night cache in mind. Parked at 5:15pm and it was still a bit too light so we grabbed some nearby in a nice little loop. TFTC

A few moments of quiet between rain squalls and grey haze are perfect for some puzzle solving. A nostalgic puzzle. Will add to To be Found list. Cheers… Gaztek

Companions: None
Muggles: A few passing by
Weather: Grey autumn afternoon
Cache condition: Good
A nice little puzzle that I solved earlier in the week. Today I had leaving drinks in the city (F2F not boxes on a screen!), so headed into the city late afternoon (wasn't convenient to actually work in the city for the day). I had left a bit of time to find this cache enroute, and it was a nice break in the trip. TNLNSL, TFTC

Out for an evening cycle to grab a few new cache. I really enjoyed solving this puzzle while wfh today. On my initial approach I was mugged by a group celebrating St Pats Day, so headed off to another newbie. On my return all was quite and after some time and approaching from an interesting angle I soon found my reward. Great hide, thanks for placing this mystery cache AussiePam. #1363
Needed at least one find for today, to fill a single find day on our “finds by found date” matrix on it’s second time around (loop), but was hoping for two finds to help with a third loop in the future. So, on my way home from finishing a night shift, I detoured via North Sydney to have a look at a couple of selections from AussiePam’s new Colour Coordinated Cache Collection. It was a wet & gloomy overcast morning, but I was hoping for some colourful finds to brighten the day. This was the 2nd of 2 finds for today.
After mellowing in yellow I next found myself hazed in purple. Approached GZ from the wrong level and, after checking & dismissing that spot, relocated myself to the purple populated place for a nice quick find of yet more purple. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. And, as a hazy bonus, there was a nice hazy rainy view of the Harbour Bridge from GZ.
Now to extract myself from all of this haziness and get home for some much needed sleep. Thanks AussiePam for the puzzle & cache, and for the purple. Looking forward to more colour to come.

Solved this the day it was published but realised a weekend grab and sign would perhaps be a little less watched and it was. Loving these "colour" series caches AussiePam! TFTC!
After three days inside with the rain it was time to venture out with frazeydaze to grab some caches.
Well the puzzle was left to me to solve which is sometimes a risk.
Once at gz it was soon CIH once we were on the right level.
Thanks for the puzzle and hiding this cache AussiePam.

It was time to escape with poor oldmorty who had been inside for the last 3 days due to the never ending rain.
Lucky to get a park close enough for a park and grab.
Oldmorty found the cache after a little direction.
Thanks for the cache AussiePam

I solved the puzzle on one of those rainy days over the weekend, can’t remember which one, they all seem the same, rain, rain and more rain.
Wanting a find today I came here during an easing of the rain. I know this area, having walked geodog around here so finding free parking was easy.
From the geomobile I could see plenty of haze which spoilt the view a bit, something purple and something matching the hint.
A couple of school muggles decided to stop right near GZ and not being sure if they could see the area I went for a short walk and found some nice old sandstone buildings. I didn’t think the rain stopped or the sun came out but it must have momentarily as the picture shows.
Once I saw the muggles walking past I returned and made a quick cache find.
The largest worm I've ever seen was guarding the cache!

I had a bit of a struggle with the puzzle as the dog ran away with one of the pieces.
But managed to find the coordinates and today teamed up with Brewmaker and Everest High.
No purple haze, just foggy weather.

R.I.P. Jimmy! Another colour to clear off my map. Found with EverestHigh and ItsDozzie on a wet Saturday afternoon. A hazey hide that wasa bit like deep purple in rock. TFTC
I feel like I'm in a purple haze this morning, but found the cache easily. TFTC AussiePam
I don't usually have the attention span for these but when I saw the subject, it became a labour of love. Lots of good theming, including the thing (art?) nearby. Thanks AussiePam.
Thanks for the ear worm. Took a detour on the way home between breaks in the rain. No purple haze, but plenty of cloud.
Purple haze, all in my brain
Lately things they don't seem the same
Actin' funny, but I don't know why
Excuse me while I kiss the sky
Purple haze, all around
Don't know if I'm comin' up or down
Am I happy or in misery?
What ever it is, that girl put a spell on me
