Quick find but we had a tough time opening it up. Got in in the end and signed out names. TFTC!
Found cache, with some careful fishing managed to in-emtoom it and placed it back in a hands reach. Nice Spot, went for a nice walk after.
Found theentombed cache - have pic butdont want to publish spoiler. Cannot find nano. Mugglrd?
Crazy story! Just when I was about to log the cache, this happens: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.smh.com.au/national/nsw/sydney-harbour-fire-threatens-heritage-listed-former-manly-ferry-20240818-p5k3di.html - I was standing at GZ and saw the fire starting. Called it in immediately. Crazy to see the flames go up like that! After 30m or so I remembered I should also still log this cache, so I did. After that, I was even interviewed by a reporter from channel 9! Eventful evening! FP for that
The previous logger, having read my earlier comment about the original cache container now being entombed in steel... AND .... having witnessed the big fire nearby, has suggested to me that Grey Mist may in fact be CURSED !!!! What fun !!! Perhaps I should add a skull and crossbones to the description. Search at your peril !!!!!!!
Interestingly, between now and the last found log - one day - this geocache has been muggled presumably by a large turning truck. When I visited to replace the wet log today, I caught a glimpse of the container... entombed forever in crushed metal. Perhaps the environs were camouflaged by grey mist... Such is life! Replaced now but with a nano and of course new log.
#69. Thank you very much. Paper full and water logged but otherwise cache in good condition.
Out caching in the area with my daughter today. My daughter was so happy to make the find here after we searched for a while. Great views .enjoying the nice weather. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
Another chance to explore a new place after our midday pick up. Incredible that the bowls club above the hill is just going to waste. Had fun playing in the playground. O had a spectacular slip with a few little cuts. Great house project on the way down too. Thanks Pam!
Nice cache find, one of a small number of todays finds. Splendour views of several old ships awaiting renovations amongst smaller boats in the bay, TFTC
A quick find on a short stroll/explore around Waverton. Didn't have a pen, so this pic is my proof!TFTC
The app took me away from the obvious and after checking a lot of things that were "magnetic," I eventually came back to the obvious. TFTC
Found, with shaneo58. We came down from Newcastle on the train, This cache was about 6 to 10 meters from GZ so it took a little bit of hunting to make the findSigned log and Cache replaced as found.**Thanks For The Cache** AussiePam.This makes the 1st cache of 8 for today making a grand total of 4274 at 10:15AM on this Thursday the 9th of November in the Year 2023
My GPS might have been a bit off, had to look around a bit and found the right geozone TFTC
It’s the end of Day 4 of training and I’m wondering along Sydney with my suitcase killing some time for my friend to pick me up for the weekend.
So many hills, stairs and uneven paths. This is a gorgeous quiet spot. TFTC.

Aahh….. back to Waverton for another search. This was a quick and easy find, but the view of the boats being repaired was quite interesting.

Quick find, though unfortunately held up by someone who decided to stand and fly their drone right next to GZ. TFTC!
Was lost for a bit because of a knobbly metal thing that looked like it could have been a cache, but decided to expand the search a little to a classic hiding spot

Saw a local soccer match going on at the same time, go red! ...or blue! ...ahhh, I just hope everyone has a good time.

Out today searching for some new caches and old ones that I hadn’t found before. This was the first of the day! Tftc! Lovely view but a bit cold in the morning.
Marshall’s Geelong found this cache today,
Quick easy find whilst caching in the area. Not many muggles about this afternoon.

Great views of Berrys Bay, plenty of boats in the shipyard, thanks AussiePam
Road trip from Tasmania to Sydney. TFTC.
Looked in the wrong spot for a bit. She found it and bought it quietly to me. Nice.

Sodden log. Replaced with new one in plastic bag and put back in sheltered spot rather than in the open as found. TFTC
Holidaying in Sydney for the weekend (seeing Billy Bragg tonight!) and decided to walk along the harbour from the bridge west. Great to pick up a few caches on the way! Thank you for your service!
With the criteria mentioned in the hint it could only be in a few locations, so after first looking at the wrong object I searched a classical place and managed to find a hide pretty quickly. Signed and replaced as found and then I was on my way to the next one.
I’m trying to get to a 100 logs before leaving Australia, so I had to power through at least 20 hides today to not leave too much to do on my last day. 35 degree heat towards the end but I had an early start and managed to have a pretty nice day after all, with a total of 21 geocaches found! Now I need 8 logs tomorrow and I should have reached 100.
A big thank you to AussiePam for creating and maintaining this geocache, so that the rest of us can entertain our hobby. The log is signed as Bubbles.

Visiting from Brisbane, I found this cache easily while on an enjoyable walk around Balls Head with friends. Tftc
A really nice place down here by the water today, cache found in the obvious spot and is all good.
Today I headed to Sydney for short meeting I needed to attend, with the rest of the day free before my flight home I decided to make my way around caching the north shore before heading back to the city to catch the train. Total of 26,000 for the day.
Thanks for the cache

A lovely morning to come and walk in this quieter part to look for these caches.

Grey Mist, although rather Grey Overcast these last few days in Sydney.
I had to wait until some sporty muggles moved on. I spend the time watching Miss Moneypenny.
Once the coast was clear it was a quick find.
Thanks for another Color!

Quick detour to this GZ. Whilst signing the log stayed to watch a ferry pulled out of the water for service. Sydney to Hobart yacht Moneypenny also in dry dock. TFTC!

Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Damp spring evening
Cache condition: Good
After yellow, grey. I wandered through the streets enjoying the views (if not the drizzle) until I got to GZ, where I headed straight to the right spot phew - TNLNSL TFTC

I ended up finding the cache about 9m east of my indicated GZ in a very conventional cache hiding spot. Thanks.
Perhaps the least colourful of this colourful series that I'm getting through little by little. Thanks AussiePam.
Left the house before 6am this morning to drop the geodog off for a dental procedure at the vet in North Willoughby.
This means I have the whole day to pass, geocaching, until I can collect her. I hit the pavements.
No grey mist but very very dark grey clouds rolling in today yet still a cracking view from GZ

Have been saving this closest-to-hime cache for today as we are off to the US for a few weeks. Due to time changes, we should be able to cache on bothe sides of the Pacific in one day! So I snuck down at 530am under an exactly half moon and Venus twinkling above. Farewell, Grey Mist. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
Last one for the day, this took me a bit further along the road according to my GPS than where GZ was meant to be. There were a fair few people around so had to take my time between searches. It took me longer than it should have given where I finally found, which I spied out of the corner of my eye.
In an attempt to populate some of our single & double find days with more finds on our “finds by found date” matrix I stopped off this morning, on my way home after working a night shift, for a couple of caches. First stop was in the Eastern Suburbs for a previously solved Puzzle cache, and the second was on the shores of Berry's Bay at Waverton for a Traditional cache. This was the 2nd of 2 finds for today.
After finding "Tick Boom Tick Tick Boom" in the Eastern Suburbs this Traditional cache was next, driving in via Lavender & Union streets, then down John Street to the cache. Unfortunately when I arrived at GZ it was occupied by a muggle woman standing right at GZ, so I waited her out whilst taking photos of the historic ex Manly Ferry SS South Steyne moored on the other side of Berry's Bay, until she was eventually picked up by an arriving car about 15 minutes later.
And with a now totally deserted GZ I swooped in for a nice quick find in the exact spot the muggle woman had been standing. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Thanks AussiePam for yet another fine selection from your Colour Coordinated Cache Collection.

After finding Barrine Burley in Canberra last week, which has a very similar setup, this was nice and easy. TFTC.
Arrow pointing one way but a quick check at the other end soon had CIH. Only grey about on this rare sunny day, was a police boat in dry dock nearby.
GZ was 10m away, at a site fitting the hint, but log comments better described its true position.
We are visiting our grandson just two minutes from here.

I’m intrigued by the conflict between the people with the “Say no to Noakes” sign and the Noakes ship builders by the cache.. TFTC!
After weeks of grey skies, it was good to get out in the sun with the geodog Zelda and explore these new colourful caches that were recently published while stopping indoors to stay dry. No greyness here at GZ today, but some top views across the harbour. And some massive yachts under construction or repair nearby. TFTC
#8705 (3 of 3 today)
Out to up the calendar finds today. Decided to target some around Artarmon. Unfortunately one solved puzzle in the area is disabled.
But got the three I went for. Can't say fairer than that.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Kept heading towards the harbour for my last find of the day. Workmen in the street meant I parked further up the road than I needed to. And when I got to GZ I found a muggle eating lunch only 2 metres away!
Thankfully it was a quick find and he was looking at the view. Made the grab unnoticed and took a short distance to complete signing duties.
Back for the replace and then I took in the view, including the moored South Steyne ferry - when is it supposed to return to Darling Harbour?

Only needing one more trad for my Everest peak I set off at 5am for a cycle over to the north side to find this new one and the new troll in Wollstonecraft. Once I arrived at 5:45am it certainly was very misty, dark, foggy and damp, however soon darker when I looked at my phone to see SKW had passed, sad day, RIP.
I did need to hunt around a little but my bright cycle light was quite helpful and I soon had CIH. I had an interesting cycle out in the dark, should have returned the way I’d come, but after a bit of sludge and stepping I soon found a familiar road.
Then onto the next one and down to Greenwich wharf, ferry to Birchgrove and home 20kms later and with my souvenir.
Thanks for placing AussiePam, a beautiful peaceful location even in the dark and fog.

After three days inside with the rain it was time to venture out with frazeydaze to grab some caches.
Grey Mist. It certainly was when we arrived at gz. I now know where the South Steyne is spending the end of her days.
A quick search of everything magnetic soon had the CIH.
Thanks for hiding this cache AussiePam.

It was time to escape with poor oldmorty who had been inside for the last 3 days due to the never ending rain.
Another great park and it was off for the search.
Searching in the wrong area when oldmorty called out that he’d found it.
Thanks for the cache AussiePam

{FTF} Whoo Hoo!! Wasn't even expecting to go out the back door today so that's a bonus.
Well there certainly was a lot of grey mist around here today.
That grey mist also was interferring with technology because as I finished my lunch I looked at the computer for a venue for the dreaded "daily photo" and noticed some new caches had been published, and not too far from home, and maybe a photo opportunity so I jumped in the geomobile and drove over.
When I was signing the log my phone pinged and there was this newly published cache - only 2 hours for that to come through!
This is an interesting spot. I've been here before but not right in this exact spot and despite it being wet and slippery I had a good explore around.
