Great spot for a Virtual, thank you PilotJen - a favorite!Made a quick stop here on my way home from UWA. Tried to take a photo that wouldn't show any of the "posers" that seem to hoard the place!
Found this on the ways to kings park. Surprisingly there was no queue for a selfie - maybe because everyone was watching the marathon runners instead. Thanks for bringing us here
Perfect day to explore this virtual cache. Enjoyable & educational. Thanks @PilotJen for establishing The Blue Boathouse (Virtual Reward 3.0) for the GC community to enjoy !!
Mrs mountainsbeyond is visiting Perth for work and went for a stroll around this part of the water this afternoon. What a pretty location! Thanks, PilotJen!
Greetings from Singapore! Perth and blue boat house hold a special place in my heart. I started uni in 2018 and the blue boat house was one of the first photo spots I visited. Fast forward to this week, I have returned to Perth for my prewedding photoshoot. Here's us waiting for our turn to take photos with the iconic landmark, on a hot and cloudless day. Thanks for the virtual cache!
TFTC #182!~~~~~~~~~Aloha from Hawaii! We flew into WA yesterday, and went to Caversham Park and got to see a bunch of cool Aussie Animals! Later in the day stopped at blue boat house!~~~~~~~~~How do people park and get across??? Just decided to take a pic across the street and it was cool seeing something Ive seen on media IRL. Again, TFTC!
In Perth for a few days before heading down south and couldnt not stop at this iconic place. Photo attached. Thanks for the virtual.
Today was a day trip to Rotto, and I figured I might as well find this one while on the way via ferry. It can barely be seen, but it still counts right? The blue boathouse is in the photo TFTC and greetings from Singapore!
We're not surprised this is such a tourist hotspot.. you can't help but get the amazing photo that says Perth. It was selfie mecca and I was as keen as anyone there to get some. It was a fun chatty lineup with everyone swapping phones and taking photos for others. It was just before we arrived when the water was higher that some boat wake washed a girl off the jetty. I reckon she'll remember Perth. This was cache of the day for me. TFTV PilotJen, FP!
I kept this virtual for a special day and today was that day. I caught up with Blue Mountain Chick and the timing did not disappoint. The walkway was under water!I couldnt decide on one photo, so I added a few!
Visiting from Canada and met up with Meme28, what a great day caching in Perth. I felt very privileged to be taken to so many great places. This one didnt disappoint.the walkway was underwater. #3089TFTV
I was done by the time I got here..... but it is such a cool shot!----------Decided to do a long road trip, flying in from Canberra, starting and finishing the drive in Port Hedland. It was a long day of flights, followed by 7 days of lots of kilometres. I stopped at every 'point of interest' along the way, I wanted to miss nothing! Earthcaches, Virtuals & AL's are always very good waypoints for interesting things as well.Every night I downloaded a bunch of podcasts and these made the kilometres fall away. This was the first outback road trip I have done where I saw more emu's than kangaroos. The wild camels walking in the desert were also very cool to see. My trusty swag served me very well.
Love this boathouse as a child and have seen it change slightly over the years
Thank you for the virtual cache at this nice and famous spot. We had to line up to make a picture.
Veni, Vidi, Vici. Here at sunrise to mark BFMC 3000 finds. TFTC, lovely spot worth a FP.
Hi PilotJen, We found your 1.0 1.0 Virtual Virtual The Blue Boathouse (Virtual Reward 3.0) on 27/3/2024. Find 3000 for BFMC.MILESTONE TIME!!! When I head over to Perth I was just over 110 finds short of hitting my 3k milestone. Only here for 2 nights, and work was the primary purpose so I wasnt sure id make it. After a mammoth 8 hour session walking around the greater CBD area last night I finally retired at 1am with 2999 in the bank. This cache was on my radar to do regardless. As a photographer who has a lot of contacts in Perth, I have known of this spot for many years, and have always wanted to visit. So I was back up before first light, jumped in the car from the hotel and was here before sunrise. It didnt turn out to be a blinder, but still a beautiful, still & mild morning. 6:30 on a weekday meant I had the place to myself. A lovely spot to tick over 3000 finds. Thanks for placing this cache!A few days in Perth, first visit here since 2007. Caching with gcrew3220, grabbing what smilies are possible between work committment s. Thank to all the COs whose caches we found. Physical logs were signed B&G
We completed the cache in January, but we forgot to log it. We'll do that here. TFTC
I have ran past this place a few times when visiting Perth, today I decided ti come and check out this virtual, a very popular spot here. Photos added Today I made my way over to QEII for a walk around to find some caches in the area, trying to stay in the shade where I couldnt avoid the heat. Thanks for the cache
I pass by this landmark every now and then while carrying out the business of the day, and am always amused by the crowd of tourists waiting their turn to get "that" photo. Today was no different, despite the weather. Better than in the blazing sun I suppose. Thanks for the tourist friendly virtual here PilotJen.
Parked on Hackett Drive and walked along the footpath, dodging Saturday morning cyclists. Had the jetty to myself and walked up close to the boatshed to take the shot.
Out and about today and I decided to check the map to see what was nearby. I find myself with time to kill so I stopped by here for a find. I was out on a work trip on the boats and managed to get a photo from a different angle. Many thanks to PilotJen for placing and maintaining The Blue Boathouse (Virtual Reward 3.0). I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.
As per normal a few tourists grabbing their Instapics so I just made a quick snap.Life through my eyes. TFTC
Visited! Visitado!A good walk for my first time around Kings Park doing some caches and Labs along the way. Finally the place where all people spoke. Virtual cach must be here of course. Thanks for create this one. Grcies! Gracias!
#7402Day 3 in Perth and hunting some more virtuals. Thanks for placing in this iconic locationTFTC PilotJen
I’ve stopped here many times. I even have a cache hidden fairly close to the boat house. I’ve attached a photo which reminds me of the good old days. Thanks for the hide.
Met my sister and a friend nearby to discuss Alaska/Canada 2024 plans; I have driven past this shed since I was a child and our youngest son had some of his wedding photos taken here. It was nice to have an excuse to revisit TFTV PilotJen
I enjoyed the walk here from near the Bell tower after geosons Champion Lakes Regatta day which ended up with him unloading the boats back at his Rowing Club.
Such a perfect weather day today and couldn't resist picking up this virtual cache. (see pic)

TFTV. What a lovely boat house and aspect. After taking my photo it poured down with rain. Luckily I had my umbrella. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley in NSW
Early start for collecting virtual caches around the city.
This location was on the insta list the wife supplied yesterday.
Happy that I didn't follow the advice of my navigation but just stopped where it looked good.
Thank you for this cache

I'm surprised that you got two shots of the boathouse with nobody on the boardwalk. There were multiple groups waiting their turn for a picture when we arrived, and the lineup was even bigger by the time we left. TFTC!

SA’s Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Can’t wait!!
Nice cool day, no rain. Had the shed all to myself. Included signal the frog keyring. Tftc
Today we had rented bikes and was planning a lot of caching, but ended up biking along the water to Fremantle and back the other side, a total of 58km, so unfortunately not time for many stops as we had to be back in time for returning our rental bikes. We stopped at a few special caches and this was one of them. Thanks for the and greetings from &
The GeoBikes were still on the back of the car so this morning we decided to head to Kings Park and surrounds, using the bikes where parking was problematic and to cycle some of the foreshore. The foreshore was problematic with much of the path closed for repairs. [B)]
Finally we moved over to QEII and PCH but things took way longer than we had hoped there. OOps.
A fun filled long day and managed to get 'home' after dark. Happy Easter!
This was crazy busy. people were literally lined up to have there photo taken in front of the boathouse with the shags! We didnt have time to wait and resorted to a distant shot.

I was last here just before this Virtual appeared, good to be back but so busy here with families out on a Public Holiday. Thanks PilotJen for this Virtual.
After some work up in Exmouth, I had the afternoon in Perth before my flight back to the East coast tomorrow morning. I'm a sucker for the Ghosts, so this was a must grab while I was in the area. [^]
I found a park at the end of the nearby cul-de-sac, then took the stairs down to the very busy road. Peak traffic time, so no surprise at all. I tried a photo from both sides of the road, but the little blue hut was either hidden behind a passing car, or suffered white out due to the sun's reflection on the water. It was clear I needed to be closer and at a different angle.
I wandered a little further along the footpath, to find the boardwalk inhabited, so I chose to stay on higher ground and snap the pic from there. Obligatory selfie taken care of, I braced myself for the game of frogger I needed to play to get back across the road. Made it safe and sound you'll be pleased to know.
A nice spot for a virtual, it will be interesting to see how it changes as time passes. Thanks for the cache PilotJen.

Out and about on this beautiful day doing a few Ad Labs. Have passed by here on numerous occasions so pleased to be able to get this virtual today
Enjoyed our stroll along the river with Geo-schnauzers leading the way. Thanks Pilotjen.
Unsuccessful search this am to continue the streak so resorting to this one after work..great vista..tftc
Unfortunately, the sun was hidden behind a cloud, so the blue didn't shine so beautifully. The trip here from the botanical garden was definitely worth it.

Visiting from Wisconsin, USA. After a disappointing DNF across the river I decided virtual geocaches were more my speed today. This was a refreshingly quick and easy smilie on a hot day. Cool boathouse! Thanks for the fun.
Thanks PilotJen for setting up this Virtual. I rode by the boathouse on my early morning ride and stopped to take a photo of my bike in front of the boathouse.
Parking up the hill we walked down to this boathouse.
Photo taken.
Thanks PilotJen for the virtual.

Late at night as we went past the Blue Boatshed. Quickly stopped for a photo with the Cockburn Crew.
Iconic! Thanks for placing a virtual here. Surprisingly free of the insta-mobs today. Tftc
Hard to get a clear pic without the insta fans on a Sunday.
TFTC PilotJen this is find #14688 for us.

Found on a very hot morning. I'll upload the photo when I'm in a position where I can download my camera. TFTC.
Took a photo of my Trek Marlin in front of the Blue House. I’m on a mission to find 16 caches today, so 1 down, 15 to go! Number 603 for me.

I have memories of rowing past here when it wasn’t blue. It’s a great land mark. TFTC
What a great location for a virtual. A West Australian icon what more could you want.
What an awesome place for a virtual! I never grow tired of photographing this Perth Icon. Thanks PilotJen - well chosen place to bring people to show off a magnificent visual of the city and its surrounds. Heres a fav.
Swung by while on an evening cache placing idea run. Ripper spot for a lab! Add fav! Cheers PilotJen!
Found this wonderful place today together with ELValtox. Tftc and greetings from Germany
Owl has driven past this location a few times on this trip but access looked a little difficult. However, a ferry to Rottnest Island took the party straight past the iconic location and a more convenient angle was determined. You might need to zoom in a little, but it's there!
Completed this cool Virtual with WayneO and LisaO89. Thanks for bringing us to this iconic location and TFTC
There was a lot of tourists at the boat shed but they offered to take my photo so I could log this cache. Love this location TFTC
Managed to make my way here today and some form of motor car expedition must be gathering at the university as there were plenty of rev heads going past.
Thanks for the addition. Have a FP for a favourite photo point for many
