Thanks for bringing us here! We enjoyed exploring the area and playing on all 4 playgrounds haha
Staying in Raglan for a couple of nights.A stunning morning. Perfect for a bike ride to grab some caches. We watched a group of boys jumping off the bridge. They were a sports team visiting from NSW. Such fun.Answers sent.TFTVC
Out for a day of caching in Raglan. Not too many people out and about so it was a quiet walk across the bridge and around the surrounding area. Quickly located the necessary number and moved on to enjoy the beach. TFTC

A very pleasant afternoon caching around Raglan with rattll. We took a stroll across the footbridge to GZ of the virtual, found the required info, and sent the answer to the CO. A lovely spot, thanks for bringing us here. Tftc!
I had a lovely time exploring the area with matagouri. Raglan has changed so much since I used to come here as a child. Thanks for setting this virtual up here.
LSQ enjoyed a surfing lesson nearby. This is a fun bridge and the youngest member of the team jumped off. Beautiful sand . Thanks for the virtual. Answers to follow
Making our way from Hamilton to New Plymouth today - grabbed a few caches on the way. We drove here on a slight divert to pick up the challenge cache and this virtuala lovely locationAnswer sent and photo takenTFTCTim and Viv - ddm
Way back when, before the Auckland Anniversary storm, before the cyclone, and before the soggy wet year we have had, I planned my Christmas Holiday. Not too far from Auckland, somewhere with beach, lots of water for cooling off, was what I wanted. Raglan fit the bill! We arrived in sunshine and yet 2 days later here we are in rain. Lots of it.We dodged the showers and down pours and came for a walk across the bridge and along the beach. On the way back we saw jellyfish, just where children were jumping from the bridge.Number sent by message, photo will be taken and uploaded when the mist has lifted a bit.
My first visit to Raglan and, apart from being unlucky with the weather, I can see why people say it is so lovely. We walked across the bridge to this great spot for a virtual. Will send the answer to the CO shortly. Thanks for the virtual!
Day 14: South to TaumarunuiTodays journey took us from Auckland down to Taumarunui as part of the first leg of our journey to New Plymouth via the Forgotten World Highway. We ventured out to Raglan as a little detour on the way to visit the Bridal Veil Falls / Waireinga as well. The day on the road was long but we enjoyed sunny skies and lovely caches all along the way and many a historic and scenic place. (End of the cut and paste bit)Heres the specific log for this cache:Popped by here while waiting for our food to arrive at the cafe in town, and grabbed the needed information. I felt really overdressed here on a warm summers day, I must say. Thanks for showing this scenic side of Raglan and TFTVC!
Yesterday we had a nice walk slong the beach and visited also this place. Raglan is a beautiful spot to stay a few days. Only the weather was not perfect. Visited the cache twice because I have forgotten to write down the number and only took a picture. TFTC
Thanks McCutchan Cache Clan, for the Virtual, which I stumbled across while exploring Raglan. Numbers will be sent, and photo is with log.
Weve just had a day in Raglan and managed to find the answer to this virtual whilst there. A beautiful day for it with this stunning scenery. Thanks for setting this one up
Raglan was really busy on this drizzly Saturday and fun to be here. Thanks for setting up this Virtual at this popular bridge. Some young men were entertaining us spectators by jumping off the bridge. Answer sent.
Stayed for one night here in Raglan! Had fun kayaking in the windy and rainy weather! Thanks for placing the Virtual here so I had the chance to grab a quick one! Greetings from Switzerland!

In Raglan for Good Friday and it was great to visit this famous bridge. A hive of activity here and lots of manus happening too! Answer sent to CO. Thanks for bringing us here.
#12,654. I love visiting Raglan Beach. Stayed here quite a few times over the years. Its sort of a wild rugged place while being so accessible to Hamilton. Good idea to place a virtual cache here to encourage more people to visit. I was here during the geotour and only today noticed I had forgotten to send the details requested for this cache to the CO. Will upload a photo from a typically nice sunny day by the sea. Thanks MCC for placing your virtual reward cache here.
A busy day at the beach! We were searching the wrong area until we read the description again . Thanks for the cache!
Wir waren am Strand und an der Brücke. Leider ich habe die Anforderungen nicht übersetzen können ( englisch - deutsch ), und Deshalb keine Antwort auf deine Frage, sorry!! Darf ich trotzdem hier stehen?...
2 nights in Raglan aren't enough. Nice city, beautiful beach, friendly people. I am glad to have now a smiling face here on the map!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Love doing virtuals especially when I’m on holiday. However this time Ruru_NZ and I are concentrating on the final Geotour area we need
Up from Southland with Cantabrian Kiwicampnut to get the final piece of the PWGT puzzle.
Day 2 - Hamilton to Te Awamutu... via the scenic route!
Nearby to collect a challenge cache, so continued on.
Starting to get busy here as 3 day music festival starts tomorrow. Looks like we timed our trip well.
Info obtained and will send this evening.

Fantastic beach. Lovely equipment. Amazing tides. Warm water. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Tftc.
Loved our holiday at Raglan and spent a lot of time going over the bridge from the campground into town!
We made a morning visit to Raglan and found ourselves virtually at the beach. Plenty of people out enjoying the pleasant day. Thanks for the virtual cache.
Great spot for a swim and a scooter on the pump track. Got rained off though!
This week is officially the first week of summer although it still felt a bit like winter this morning with cloud and cool winds. This was good for us though as it kept the muggles away and we enjoyed looking around the area.
As we left a couple of locals turned up and went for a swim and we were impressed at their dedication.
Answer sent, thanks for a great virtual cache.

really enjoyed Raglan. there was a lot of energy in the air. Nice place to stop for lunch too! Thanks for the virtual, I'm not sure if we would have walked over the bridge if it hadn't been there. TFTC
We enjoyed everything about Raglan and the visit to this beach made it even more special as we watched all kinds of watersports from jumping off the bridge to having a quiet paddle, and from swimming in the refreshing waters to zooming about on what appeared to be an electrical "wind surf". Thanks for helping make our visit to Raglan so memorable.
Second time in Raglan but first across the bridge. Really nice place to enjoy with family. TFTC
I'm on a road trip to the far north, attempting to complete the PWGT Tahi Geotour.
This is day five, a soggy day driving from Whangarei to Te Kuiti and hopefully completing PWGT1.
Will expand on my logs, post photos, qualifying caches for challenges, etc. When I get home. TFTC
An overcast day four my first visit to Raglan, but at least it's not longer pouring with rain.

I’m in the middle of a very wet road trip.
Thanks for this Virtual cache, McCCC.

Day 10 of my Spring Holiday and spending a couple of days in Cambridge.
The sun is finally out today so we are heading over to Raglan for lunch and a look around.
Made the walk over here beforehand and got the required info and photo. Then back across and people were jumping off the bridge so we waited for a couple of young girls but after a good 10 minutes and one not able to persuade the other we moved on as tummy's were starting to rumble TFTC

We have visited Raglan on a number of occasions, but not for a couple of years now. We are here for a memorial service for a friend which has been postponed a couple of times. Raglan has grown in that time and seems to be flourishing despite the challenges we have had. The camp ground is very tidy and has had a big spruce up. A pleasure to stay here. The bridge is a fantastic link to the town centre. I was disappointed to see only half the illuminating lights on the bridge were working. Thanks for the virtual McCutchan Cache Clan.
This one was very convenient, as I was there for a football game and parked virtually next to GZ.
The game was a draw, 2 all . It was a very pleasant visit to Raglan. Tftc.

In the area chasing a FTF. Terrible weather today and after a passing squall we set off for Raglan. Got to GZ and easy find for the answer of the question. Sent the answer to cache owner. Tftc
A great day out and about in raglan with the girls.
A nice walk to GZ.
Merlot58 has sent the info in on our behalf thanks.

We were doing one of the Ad Lab WPs and saw this virtual not too far away. We had a rather brisk breeze as we walked across the bridge and had no trouble getting the information required and answer sent to CO
We were targeting the adventure lab in Raglan today with Merlot, S/N and Nette. Seeing that this virtual was near one of the waypoints we made our way to gz. We saw a rainbow in the distance and watched a group of Nippers in the water near the bridge. Merlot has sent the answers on our behalf for this.
Really enjoyed my Day Trip to Raglan in the company of Merlot, Mrs Jag and Nette.
Have being trying to get down here since I heard about all your new caches!!!!!

I was invited on a road trip to join tramyard to travel down to the Waikato. We then extended the invitation to Gorby and rustynz. The plan was to go from Auckland down to Raglan, then to Hamilton Gardens, Matamata, and finally Te Aroha before heading back to Auckland. We were targeting virtuals, adventure labs and mysteries.
We would have enjoyed the walk over this bridge if the rain didn't decide to pour down in cold, driving sheets right as we were starting to cross. And in typical fashion, it stopped before we could reach the other side and any form of shelter.
It was nice to have another reason to return to Raglan.

A trip had been planned a few weeks ago by tramyard and Aiden29 to go caching in the Waikato. I was very happy to be invited along and rustynz too. The four of us had a very happy day as Aiden drove us along in her car, thanks Danielle for that. The plan was to head to Raglan, Hamilton, Matamata, Wairere Falls and Te Aroha (and later Waihou). We ate pies In Raglan and bore very high winds while freezing to death, then went to Hamilton Gardens for a few warmer non-rain walks, then Matamata where the autumn leaves covered the road almost to the point we couldn't see the road, then a short breezy jaunt to Wairere Falls, then north up to a Maori pa and grave, then Te Aroha for a virtual and dinner at a kebab restaurant/café. Then over to my cache in Waihou in the dark. Then finally, despite road works on the motorway near Drury we made it home not too late in the evening. I left home in the dark and arrived back the same.
We are busy doing the ad lab by McCCC and this virtual was along our way. As has been mentioned, the rain came down, it wasn't much but it was extremely cold! We were well caught out, no umbrella would have stood up to this. So we huddled along quickly and before we even got across the bridge, the rain stopped but we were wet. Anyway, the answer was sought and found. Co-ords for us were a little out but it was obvious eventually where we needed to be. Thanks McCCC.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap). We’re heading to Huntly to catch up with our friends this evening. We have time to kill, so a round about journey is the ticket…
The rain eased enough for us to scoot out to inspect ground zone. We found the required digits, took the obligatory photos and scarpered back to the warmth of the vehicle. Only fools and geocachers would be at the beach today… Thanks McCutchan Cache Clan and TFTVC.

With Aiden29, Tramyard and gorby on a days adventure travelling around Raglan and beyond
On the walk across the bridge it started to rain, the rainbow minutes before should have been a clue as to what was going to happen next
With icy wind and a squally shower of rain, grateful had jacket on, but had left overtrousers at home!
Fun time collecting the information. Thanks for the virtual hide McCutchan Cache Clan, and for bringing us here (previously stayed in one of the huts at the camping ground - not today!)

I was writing a log at another cache in Taupiri when this one popped up. So a trip to Raglan it had to be. Took me a little time to get to the correct place to gather information [Helps if you read the cache page fully]. A number of people out enjoying a beautiful day in Raglan. {FTF} 293 and 3rd today. Thank you for the placement.
