I arrived in Sydney (from Canada) today and just had to visit this beautiful building and amazing clocks before the sun went down. The rainbow of bright colours in the clothing, accessories, cushions, and tapestries, tortoiseshell hair combs and bracelets, etc. in the stores in this entire shopping facility (throughout town, in fact) were a welcome contrast to the pre-winter greyness and shorter days of late-autumn Ontario. Certainly worth a favourite point!Many thanks, CO, for brightening my already uplifting arrival. Most timely!

TaurusSix and I are having an extended long weekend in Sydney , checking out our old haunts , catching up with friends , seeing Hamilton and of course finding time in between for geocaching . When once Sydney we called home, we were frequent visitors to this building. Usually for breakfast/brunch at the start of a weekend. The later bit has not changed. We were back in Sydney to see a show, catch-up with friends and )it was never in doubt) collect some caches, especially those hidden since we moved away.We had a few in the bag and decided to stop here again for breakfast/brunch . But before that there was this virtual cache to do.Wed never really paid these clocks the attention they are due. In gathering the required information and photo to we put this oversight behind us.With that done we had an amazing breakfast before putting the rest of our geocaching day into action.Thanks to the CO for the virtual cache find , it gets a favourite point from us .
Been in this building quite a few times before but never taken quite so much notice of the clocks which really are astounding. As is the whole building! Thanks for bringing us here and for the information.

We spend a few days in Sydney and enjoy the city with its unique sights, buildings and parks. We also search for and create caches, virtual and lab caches. This takes us to places we would not have visited otherwise. The caches are in very good condition and the hints helpful and they were all dry and there was still enough space for the next cachers.On our Tour we was able to made the Virtual. Me & wife had a field day when we took a train from Epping to Central, then took a Light Rail to Circular Quay to see the Opera House, last time we came was 6 years ago, so much changes, remembered there was lots of construction, including the Light Rail instruction, now we witnessed everything has gone smoothly.Spent so much time, time to go back, we went to Apple Store & Lego Store before closing time. We walked further till QVD & checking our Geo App, didnt realised there is a Virtual of QVD clock, quickly we rushed in to take a selfie & just in time, closing time.TFTC to Co, we totally enjoyed this cache.
It was almost last minute when we checked the GC app, past 9pm, didnt realised there is a Virtual at QVB when we were at the Light Rail, quickly went into the mall, snapped a selfie of the clock.It was easy & fun finding this clock.Tftc to Co placing this cache for us to enjoy.

Took a pic with both clocks. Sent answers. Loved the shopping center but not sure I could afford anything in here. Clock was not sounding - and the faces all had different wrong times - thats too bad.
Absolutely love this building! We stopped here for breakfast this morning (very tasty!) before heading up to level 2 to check out the clocks properly. The junior cacher took the pic of me at the royal clock, then we chose a scene from the Australian clock. TFTC!

Reperio 17:38I headed to Sydney today for a few days away, and this time I was joined by a work colleague who had never experienced geocaching before. We took a detour towards Warragamba Dam before eventually making our way to Darling Harbour. After checking into our accomodation, we headed out for a walk around the city, and with a couple of virtuals near by, we went in search of them. It was here that the geocaching light was seen by my muggle friend, who after looking at the Australian Clock, turned and said I would never have looked so closely at this clock if it wasnt for the cache. On our last full day in Australia we had a lazy start as we waited for the rain to pass through before I nipped out for a few last caches.This had been on my list since my first stopover at the end of June, but I never seemed to be near QVB at the right time of day. Today I took the tram straight there in the hope of seeing the clocks at noon. Although I arrived in time, neither seems to be in full working order currently so sadly there was no performance to see. Bisoutje and I decided to spend our last afteenoon in Sydney in the city centre to do some shopping and run some errands. We managed to find some caches along the way aswell.This beautiful building houses inside treasures as well. These clocks are huge and very well made. Der Urlaub von Docla und mir geht in wenigen Tagen zu Ende. Also mssen wir uns allmhlich von Sydney und Australien verabschieden. Heute sind wir einfach durch die Stadt gebummelt und dabei schlielich bis zur Oper (Hurra, Benny war da...) und zum Botanischen Garten gekommen. Hier hatten wir schon einmal Fotos gemacht, aber das entscheidende Bild vergessen - das haben wir heute nachgeholt. Vielen Dank fr den Cache und Gre aus Deutschland. The vacation of Docla and me is coming to an end in a few days. So we have to say goodbye to Sydney and Australia. Today we just strolled through the city and ended up at the Opera (hooray, Benny was there...) and the Royal Botanic Gardens. We had already taken photos here, but forgot the crucial picture - we made up for it today.Thank you for the cache and greetings from Germany.

On Monday T-Tech and I flew from Brisbane to Williamstown then drove to Kincumber to visit my mother. On Tuesday we cached our way to Sydney and stayed at a hotel in the city. Today we will be getting on the Indian-Pacific train to Perth, but first we gathered a few caches in the Hyde Park area.I was pretty keen to visit this one, so after checking out of our hotel we took the leisurely jaunt to the QVB. The clocks were interesting to inspect, and details were all noted. We sent our answer to the CO, and received approval to log. TFTCVC, The Bebes.
