Presenting at the City of Perth so walked a block over after finishing to shake the hand of one of these fine gentlemen. Others nearby were walking with them but that's hard to photograph as a selfie! Thanks for bringing me here.
In Perth for the test match. This one was in the direction of my morning walk. Thanks for placing this cache kenare #3078
Happened to be nearby for a job interview and nabbed this virtual that Ive been wanting for a while. TftcMaking memories
Greetings from Canberra! Found on the way back to the hotel after a fantastic booze cruise along the Swan River all day, lots of wine, nibblies, chocolates, music and views. Hilarious sculpture, nicely done, and a fun photo opportunity. Note the strategic placement of my backpack in my hand. TFTC!
During our city tour through Perth today, we were able to find and log this cache. Thanks and greets!Taureau
I've walked past the sculptures many times, so I'm glad there's now virtual here
A quick stop on a quick trip, always felt I was in the wrong time, but not due where Id fit here. Thanks for the cache kenare
Bag Snatcher caught on film, an exclusive from the pages of the West Australian. Finally the authorities have their first lead on the infamous bag snatcher who's been causing havoc on our hard working business people in Perth's CBD.The gait, right handed grab and large ass would tend to implicate someone from the eastern states. Reliable (and anonymous) Govt sources are fed up with transient east-coasters using valuable oxygen and wearing down our pavements as they walk thru Perth. It is expected demonstrations will commence this week to rid the west of east-coasters. And back to the story, there has been no sign of the fugitive nor the 50kg brass brief case. Investigations continue. TFTV kenare.
Wandering around enjoying the sunshine and doing a spot of caching. Thanks for taking us here. Greetings from AdelaideTFTC
That bag looks a little heavy. I have not been here before so enjoyed a quick morning tour through Perth. Thanks kenare for the find.
Ohne Handy/Smartphone geht heute nichts mehr .Thank you for the cache. Meerana and Andy_Cayoon from Germany.
This week I'm Perth for a business trip. As an avid geocacher, coming from as far as Belgium, it was a good opportunity to get my third Australian state in the list. So I did some proper planning, and in spit of the killer jet-lag, on Sunday afternoon, I went for a geo-walk down town.I really enjoyed the city and the caches I found .. I enjoyed less the ones that I didn't Thanks for placing and maintaining the caches ..and showing me this beautiful city !!

I arrived in Australia (Brisbane) a couple of weeks ago for work, and finally that is done with and I can begin the holiday portion of my travels. And what a holiday it is, I will be visiting six cities in a little over two weeks as I follow a rock band around on tour. Along the way, I will be collecting geocaches and it all starts here in Perth, My first time in Western Australia. Most of today I spent wandering around and letting the geocaches lead me places. A lot of fun, and here is one of the caches I found.I really wanted to do a Ministry Of Silly Walks type photo, but it's a bit tricky by myself. Had to settle for a handshake...---Thanks to kenare for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
Overr in Perth for work from Brisbane. Woke early after a restful nights sleep and pottered around picking up a few caches. This cache was found quickly and with out any muggle interference giv n the early hour of the morning Log extracted extracted and mark made.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache for the enjoyment of others.CheersShaun
On my first trip to WA, had a day of exploring/caching before my friends arrived. TFTC!
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor.TFTC. A great set of very tall statues.
This was a fun virtual cache and took a few different photos posed with the statues. It was a lovely, warm, sunny day to spend the day caching around Perth. After a few suburban caches in the morning, it was into Kings Park for an explore by AL's and a variety of caches as we passed. Continued into the CBD for many more, an enjoyable day exploring the area and its many hidden locations. After dinner, it was back to the car in Kings Park, a busy place still and top spot to take in the night views of the city lights and pleasant on a still warm evening. Thanks for the cache.
We are using Geocaching as our guide to explore Perth, and enjoying all that the city has to show. Thanks kenare for highlighting these interesting statues and setting up this Virtual.
TFTC Photo submitted. Geo wife striding behind. Catching up on a couple of caches while out on a walk around the city on a quiet Sunday morning.
This was a fun find. I got a few odd looks from some passes by while doing this pose.
Out for a wander round town this evening, and couldnt resist having some fun here! Thanks for the virtual.
After seeing the candlelight Hans Zimmer tribute we took a quick VC here, @bunbun88 and I had some laughs here

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 59 - Swan Valley Perth Day 4. My outing today was a train ride into the City from Guildford. Very nice trains, only a bit crowded in the morning. It was a clear, sunny but quite cold morning and most of the day. It made walking around the city very pleasant. I managed quite a few challenging caches, a nice multi around some amazing art and two sets of Labs. I fund a nice cafe for Breakfast and was back on the train home by early afternoon on a virtually empty train. A great day out, and I hope to try it again one day next week.I not a particularly creative person, but I have an image and will attach it to my log. Thanks for the cache kenare48024.8 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 5000 Finds Achievement A#201**Albida**
We stopped by here at 19:55 after a spot of tucker just up the road apiece. The middle man seemed to be wanting to shake hands even though he looked like he was in a bit of a rush so I obliged for the qualifying pickie. And our night cache geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks kenare.
Found with Mum and Dad.(Nathan and Alyce)P.S. Im the baby in the pram #109 - TFTC
We spent several hours exploring the city while tackling some Multis and Adventure Labs. Plenty of walking and stress involved trying to juggle everything at once, which probably wasnt the best option in the end.We tried our best to come up with something creative so a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors it was. I picked Rock and the cheeky bugger picked Paper, damn you, Ill get you next time! Thanks for bringing us here.#4362 - TFTVC
Greeted these fine fellows with due respect. Thanks for bringing us here - it always helps to follow some caches through a city to find the cool spots
This is my take on adding a fun pose. Always fun to see and discover these gems around a city center! TFTC and greetings from Singapore!
On my own today so the photo requirement was proving difficult. So resorted to him holding my geo bag. Hope this is OK.
For a few days, we are tourists in Perth and what fun that is.Today we thought we would drive into the city, park the car and then spend the day on foot exploring the city. For much of the day we were guided by some great Adventure Labs and also a couple of virtuals, this being one of them. We had already admired this set of sculptures not realising there was a virtual here, however since we had really thought the bronze statues were so beautiful we were very happy to come back and participate in logging a find here for virtual. We did a bit of homework on the sculptures to find out some more information about the history of the subjects . Its fair to say we were also very impressed with the Street art that we came across during our walking today around the Perth CBD. Thanks kenare for the placement here of your virtual. A great location! Domsky
Great virtual in town----------Decided to do a long road trip, flying in from Canberra, starting and finishing the drive in Port Hedland. It was a long day of flights, followed by 7 days of lots of kilometres. I stopped at every 'point of interest' along the way, I wanted to miss nothing! Earthcaches, Virtuals & AL's are always very good waypoints for interesting things as well.Every night I downloaded a bunch of podcasts and these made the kilometres fall away. This was the first outback road trip I have done where I saw more emu's than kangaroos. The wild camels walking in the desert were also very cool to see. My trusty swag served me very well.
Heres one of the three photos - other 2 being sent through send answers - thanks for bringing us here. Fun cache for the evening
We completed the cache in January, but we forgot to log it. We'll do that here. TFTC ??

Great idea for a virtual here.As I was setting up the drone for the selfie a nice fellow came up and asked if I wanted him to take a photo of me. I pointed to the drone and replied " thanks, but can you beat that thing".Luv Australia.
Since we moved to Perth and got back into the game, I have been wanting to tackle Northbridge for a while. The plan was to catch the bus into the city in the morning, and stay all day grabbing caches. The only issue what order do we do everything in? I noticed a few multi caches with several waypoints. So spent last night (until about 1am) plotting every multi way point, traditional and virtual cache onto google maps, and working out the best method of attack from the bus stop. Im sure there is an easier way to do this but oh well. Its done now.So I set our route. Printed it all out, and it was ready to go! Woke up this morning, packed a lunch, and headed for the city at 10am. We started off slow, as 4 traditional caches were first up, but after that, we were smashing waypoint after waypoint of several different multi caches along St Georges Terrace (STG) whilst taking the occasional detour for the odd virtual/traditional slightly off the path. I must say, planning it out paid off! Otherwise, we would have been walking the length of SGT more than once! (Not ideal).By the time we made it to the end of STG, we had green lights on 4 Multi Caches (Plaques War Heroes, Plaques Government, Plaques Settlers, and Bumming Around). We then made our way down to Elizabeth Quay to collect a few more caches/waypoints, before returning to the bus to head home approximately 5pm.A great day out caching! Racked up 15km on foot!..This cache was one found off the main path we were following of STG. In fact one of our waypoints for "Bumming Around" was here as well. We enjoyed the task of trying to come up with something creative. I went for a handshake, and Jasmine opted for an attempted "bag snatch". Will attach the photos shortly off my phone. Thanks for the initiative!
Out and about with @jamesknowlson in the city for 7 hours today finding geocaches. A fun day with no backtracking due to James perfectly prepared map and schedule of how to get to all the waypoints and stops from all the different caches around the city. We covered 15km on foot and managed to find multiple caches and get the coordinates for some multis that we will come back to at a later date. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache! Another smiley on the map
We are in Perth visiting our daughter who now lives here - we didn't do much caching for a variety of reasons but did manage a couple. Today we intended to visit the Art Gallery but it was closed so we had a looksee at the Christmas decorations in the CBD and a visited your virtual. A fun idea
A beautiful set of sculptures that we would have missed if not for the virtual cache... Thanks for bringing them to our attention. My rucksack and hat may not be as impressive, but it'll do!! TFTC!
Great sculptures and fun photo shoot, even if the human subject was reluctant. Tftc
