15:48The 'might', or should we say the mystery of the Macedon Ranges. We spent a great day working on changing the green icons on our map to bright smiling faces.Info sent to CO.Our thanks to 'TheJackoCrew' for adding this cache to the.geo-gameboard.38123*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
After hosting an event at Sanatorium Lake we headed here with 2beez. A spot we never knew of after living and many adventures here. The water flowing was so beautiful, as were the maiden here ferns as ground cover that we have never seen in abundance in the wild. It's a really lovely spot to find. This is what caching is about! Thanks Jacko83 for creating for us all to enjoy. Answers sent. I thought we had been here before and it seems we just might have. It was lovely to come here today as the falls had a decent amount of water going over them. Thanks for taking us to this location with the placing of this cache.
We came up this way to attend an event for which the weather cleared just in time. This bad weather was good for here as the water was flowing well. Thanks for bringing us out to this waterfall with the placement of this cache.
Today I headed out west with Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 to attend an event and find a cache or three. We made our way down to gz where the water was pounding down! I guess all that morning rain was worth it. Sooo cool!GT37 has submitted answers on behalf of all of us. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, TheJackoCrew ~~
Out and about this morning to grab a cache for my calendar and pick up some Cosmic Challenge points before the weather turns. Have attached a photo of Mila at GZ. TFTC
We visited these falls during our travels on the Great Victorian Cache Crawl. The _EVIL_MUGGLE opted to stay in the car and I got out in the persistent rain and ventured to both the top and bottom of the falls, as much as the railings would let me. Unfortunately I didnt take my walking pole with me, which was stupid as the steps were quite slippery and steep. I loved visiting the falls. Thanks for bringing us to this location.
Spending a few days in Victoria after caches and attending events associated with the Great Victorian Cache Crawl I saw this Earth Cache and being interested in waterfalls I came to visit. Answers have been sent to the CO.
Fourth and final day of a geocaching adventure with Robmc. Today we woke in Pyramid Hill and began to make our way home, roughly via Bendigo, sort of.An impressive waterfall, brought to us by the waterfall master. Thanks to the JackoCrew for this earth cache. Answers sent off and confirmed.
The final day with Day on our LGA collection trip around Western Victoria.Today we started at Pyramid Hill, and finished at home early in the afternoon. The weather was drier but still overcast all day, and fairly chilly. There hasn't been any significant rainfall for a while, but the falls were still running.Discussed our answers then Day sent them off to the CO.The CO promptly returned a good answer.I have never been to these falls before. Thanks, Robmc.
Walked the loop and sighted the falls from the top and the bottom. I was expecting a smaller flow during the summer, but there was sufficient water still!
Enjoyed exploring these falls I had no idea they were here so thanks to geocaching. You never know where the next one will take you A favourite point for this location TFTC
In and around the Mountain Macedon area today and had to do this Earthcache. What a lovely area that I didnt expect to be a waterfall nearby. It was only a small one but very majestic and had a fair bit of water coming out. Answers to be sent. TFTC
I first visited Stanley Park in June 2006. 6 weeks into my caching career. I met pprass here and we found a traditional hide.Back today with Featherdown. Didn't expect so much water but summer rains have been significant. Loved the place so a favourite point for the experience. Thanks Jacko
An impressive waterfall that I was happy to visitThank you for the adventurePika 3/2/24
I visited here with feathertop this afternoon. A lovely spot and a straightforward geology lesson. Thanks Jacko
I could hear the waterfall raging from the carpark, l could almost just follow my ears. It was nice to see a nice path and signage up to the waterfalls. A very nicely hidden secret that GC brought me too.
After a 7 week trip away it was time to catch up with my son and his young family.I was meeting them at the Woodend Parkrun site this morning as he is silly enough to do the parkrun pushing my 2 grandkids in a mini bike trailer type of thing.I left nice and early so I could find a couple of caches as it is earth cache day I needed this one.I found this one by checking the map to see what was in the area on drive through here.Found my way here and it was a nice stroll down to the bottom of the falls on some well made stone steps. After the recent rain there was plenty of water coming over the falls as well.I spoke to my son about the falls and and he mentioned that they have visited them like me after heavy rain.Answers have been sent to the CO.Thanks Jacko83 TFTC
Answers have been sent to CO for approval. Enjoyed the short walk into the area. Again I would not have visited here without this EC having been published.
Thanks for the experience Jacko83

I realised the other day that i have been avoiding puzzle caches and not writing up earthcaches for a while and that it was high time to tackle some of each. I have since spent quite a bit of time drinking coffee and staring blankly at my computer but i have finally managed to solve a few puzzles which i had previously looked at but not solved. I have also written up and sent off answers for a few earthcaches.
I visited and enjoyed these falls on 20-12-2022 so my log has been in the waiting room for some time, in fact I have thought about this lovely spot and not got around to logging it far too many times since. But now I have finally got around to sending my answers and can sign it off. It is a great feeling to be able to put a smiley on my map. thanks for the fun Jacko83

We have sent our answers to the Cache Owner.
An enjoyable walk to the top and down to the bottom of these falls.
We did our observations and sent the answers off.
Would be a pleasant cool spot in the summer.
Glad we dropped by.

Thanks Jacko83 for placing this Earth cache and contributing to this great game. Answers have been sent, please find attached photo as answer to part 3. I’m no good at selfies, but why try when I’ve a better looking alternative in my Geopup who moonlights as my GPS! Happy trails!
TwoEms were figuring out what pose to do, but ended up playing finger puppets and finger battles in front of the waterfall until we settled on pointing out why we came here. Thank you for the Earthcache.
I love waterfalls and I`m more than happy to find even a EC here! Thank you for creating one on this beautiful calm spot.
Trying to catch up on some very late logs. Sorry for the more generic logs.
Stopped off here to do this earthcache, while having some extra time while travelling through. Answers sent to CO.
Thanks Jacko83 for highlighting this area for us.

Really enjoyed this earthcache especially as there had been so much rain and there was a lot of water coming g over the falls. It is a lovely spot for a picnic so we plan to return during the warmer months as we live close by. Didn't even know these falls were here. Thank you geocaching! TFTC
A quick visit here today, the waterfalls were full of water due to the recent rains which was lovely. Answers have been sent to CO. Thank you for bringing me here. Tftc
Found today on a trip to climb Mt Teneriffe and do a few other caches in the area. We were lucky with the amount of water so it looked good. Answers sent, we hope they were right, we're not all too good at these.
Stopped by here with __Cat__ on our way to go mushrooming. Nice little spot and we came back afterwards for lunch, managing to avoid the crowds. Answers sent to CO and photo attached
We got the notification that this Earthcache had just been published and Mrs Sims_famiy just loves Earthcaches so I ran it by her to see if she wanted to head over for a look. Soon after we saw that it had already been visit by The Pacman which wasn't a surprise because he is both a Earthcache and first to find hunter. Even with the cache already being found we were still keen for a look so we headed to GZ for a look.
Once a the parking spot we had a look from the top of the falls before taking the stairs down to the bottom. The stairs are not kind on our aging hips and knee but it is only a short walk so we both survived.
What a beautiful spot not too far out too. We really enjoy visits waterfalls are always a great spot to visit. The kids even did their Aysen pose

One of the best things about geocaching is that it is a great tour guide to the highlights of an area. It works so well that sometimes we rely solely on geocaching, assuming ALL significant points of interest are marked by some or other geocaching type or waypoint. Which is precisely what happened here - I've been around Macedon several times but never knew about these falls because I never looked at a general (non-geocaching) map . Then again, today I did visit Stanley Falls - because of geocaching ! So it does deliver in the end after all...
With the recent deluge of rain around the eastern parts of Australia this past week, including over the greater Melbourne area, I thought this would be an opportune time to see these falls. And indeed there were decent flows - the falls can be heard from 100 metres away this morning.
I made my observations from a pleasantly shady GZ. Answers emailed to the CO.
Thanks for pointing these falls out, Jacko - the geo-map is now fixed for this area with the inclusion of these falls (unless of course there is something else we don't know about but we don't know we don't know. Anyways, the whole Schroedinger's cache discussion is a philosophical topic for another occasion ).

After seeing that the Earthcache had already been logged, the FTF rush after work was off and a leisurely drive was taken up the mountain before heading home for dinner.
After arrival at the empty car park, a pleasant walk was taken to the top and the bottom of the falls and the information gathered.
Once at home the books came out and a further bit of research commenced, culminating in an evening of reading and trolling through the diagrams, tables and scientific texts.
A conclusion was summarized and our answers presented for evaluation by the CO.
Thanks for the Earthcache.
