Found it Actually my sister whos completely new to geocaching found it. I wasnt sure where to look but it was t covered and she spotted it
On our way home Te Arai we decided to stop off here and grab a couple more caches. Parked up on Hamilton Road and made our way along the footpath. Didnt manage to make it to the end of the walk today as the rain got worse but managed to find this one on our way back to the car.
Thank you once again G-2 for bringing me to a nice walk that I would not have known was there otherwise. I really do enjoy chasing your caches... Keep up the great work.
I'm glad I got to that tree before the dog. hiw can such a small animal have so much to contribute to the landscape? t4tc
After a good walk around Tawharanui this morning, I stopped at this small little trail near Sandspit to take a look for the caches along here. I parked on the gravel side road and walked to the cafe and back again. The trail was quite muddy in places, but I found all caches without any problems. TFTC!
Merlot58 and I then moved location to the Duck Creek Trail for me to sign off a few more caches.
The Trail is a little muddy today. I was initially looking at the wrong tree.
Cheers for the cache, G-2.

Cheers for the cache, G-2.
Lovely area that we haven't visited before. Found the cache easily thanks to hint given. Cache is all good. TFTC
Righto, off the fence=line now. Have been following that for awhile, now it's a very different type of territory, I had grassy meadows to walk thru and past, now it seems I'm part of a Totara forest with many fine specimens.
No worries here G, cache all good, paper dry too.

After we found the first cache on this trail some 8 years ago we were walking here regularly over the years. But only now we went to hunt down all the new caches along this, at the moment rather muddy, trail. TFTC
Muddy trail with all the rain we have had but enjoying a quick caching outing with our daughter and dogs. As the signs say under control rather than on lead, our little dog was full of glee running back and forth along the path. This was a quick find, having spotted a caching flage so to speak. Thanks for placing G-2. Haven't walked this path for a bit, not since these caches were placed at least.
We enjoyed a nice peaceful walk through the bush and made sure we stopped at Piggies Spot to find this cache.
After initially looking in slightly the wrong spot we felt a bit on the spot but soon spotted the spot we needed and subsequently spotted the cache giving us a sense of satisfaction that really hit the spot.
We left the bush heading for the next cache spot with a cheerful "spot you later"

It was nice to finally be walking amongst the trees. Find the right tree and the cache is easy to spot.
Continued my spitting walk in the area on beautiful morning and picked up this hide. All ok. TFTC!
Wonderful walk along the path, so peaceful and lots of shade made for a pleasant wander. No trouble in locating the cache and rehid carefully. TFTC
It's a lovely walk through the bush along here. And a nice quick find of this cache
Out for the day with Merlot58, S/N and Nette to find the latest G2 caches in the area. After passing a door to nowhere and some interesting yellow fungi on our way to gz we made a quick find here. TFTC
Nice to get out with the 4 Westie Girls together again on a trip to Sandspit and Orewa...plus a few extras on the way for some of our team!
No trouble finding the Sweet Spot here thanks.
No trouble finding the Sweet Spot here thanks.
Team G0LD had planned to cache in Orewa today, get 50 caches and clean up that area. Such a nice surprise to see all these new caches published. With no found it logs appearing on our way down we made the short diversion out this way to try for the ftfs. We walked slightly past this one then backtracked a tad to the hint item. I checked one side, no. Another team member walked half way round from the other side, no. Better check both sides again. Yes - another find and {FTF} here at 8.04am.Thanks for the new series here which added an extra bit of excitement to these Whangarei cachers today
On a day mission caching with B4Dawn.
Nice quick find here and we were on our way.
Thanks for the cache.
Nice quick find here and we were on our way.
Thanks for the cache.
On a caching mission this morning with Keylev. I had mentioned that I wanted to hit 100 caches this week. Managed to get up to 50 so today was going to be the big one!
Keylev saw a few FTFs up here and was keen to give it a go. I'm always good for caches so it didn't bother me one bit! Apologies for the copy and paste but there were a few caches her but appreciate the new caches here! TFTC

[FTF] Out with Team Gold this morning (0B80B8 and Liscrew) to collect a few caches to keep our numbers up. This series pop up last night, so we though we would give a FTF a go. Enjoying the walk through the bush. Walk past this one initially and had to back track a few metres. After a short hunt we located the cache. TFTC
