Second find on a rainy night - mud on shoes from the walk to the first cache seems to have cleaned off! TFTC
Reperio 09:10Day 6 of our NSW south eastern caching tour, and Master Vitruvius and I today travelled from just outside of the ACT to home in Orange. With a number of caches left to do around Murrumbateman and Yass, we stopped by a few in this area before taking an extended route back home to Orange. Our final day was another fantastic day of caching, with very few caches that went unfound. Gratias DARKSIDEDANAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
A foggy start to today in Yass.It was cold and damp as we wandered around town looking for a few caches.A few runners about and later on a few folks having breakfast in the main street. Thanks to DARKSIDEDAN for this hide.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a week or so in Yass, today we headed out late morning. What fantastic weather for another run around Yass. Mr Felix came across a sleeping possum in a fence post today, who did not want to give up the cache. Another good day.TFTC DARKSIDEDAN

1st cache on our road trip to Tasi. How to stop and find this one my wife being French! Thanks for maintaining the cache
Today was the next Monday trip to Yass and surrounds with Smitten Granny, Barb2e and Isopeda. We had a target list of ten or so and managed to find most of them without any problems. Flowing the caching we stoped for the now mandatory morning tea break before heading home. Even then we made a few detours, we should try not to run early too often.
The next batch of caches were nice and simple and not on busy roads so were able to be done without any problems.
Thanks for the cache DARKSIDEDAN

Out for a country drive with Albida33, Smittengranny and isopeda picking up caches around the Yass area. Tftc
This week's Monday adventurers included Albida33, Barb2e, Isopeda and myself. Again we are targeting caches out towards Yass intending to finish up with coffee/lunch in Yass. It is a beautiful day, great for caching with good company. All logs that were found were signed. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining these caches.
Out with albida33, barb2e and Smittengranny for a morning of country caching. We had passed this spot twice before stopping.
It was a relief to see a bigger container after a raft of bison tubes. There are a few swaps for kids in there, but I didn't check if the TB was still there.
If you look at photos of this frog, you will understand how I felt - I have a raging headache.

Cache 9633 on 4 Feb 2023.
I have set a goal for myself - making my 10,000th cache the Rutherglen mega event, quite tricky because I am currently 380 caches away from it, it is only 2.5 months away, and I am away for 10 days in the middle of March! So today, SpecimenX and I headed out to Yass to knock off a few caches which I have been meaning to grab for a while.
Ended up finding most of the “stick” series and quite a few others along the way. The series took a fair bit longer than anticipated as some of them were tricky to find, and we had difficulty getting the caches out of some of the tight spots, but we found all but two of the ones we attempted. Reckon the pit stop at Clementines on the way helped! We had numerous drivers stop and check we were okay, which was encouraging! A fun few hours with quality caches and lots of laughs!
Unless otherwise indicated, the finds did not take too long, the cache was extracted in reasonable time and any hints were accurate!
Thanks DARKSIDEDAN for the cache and the fun!

Teamed up with AngelG27 for another geomission around the back roads near Yass. She was on a mission to get some numbers up so happy to join in on that action!
Quick find and nice sized cache so left a TB to continue on with it's mission.
Thanks for the hide, DARKSIDEDAN

Nice easy find here today.

29,791. Found with minniek during our typical detour on the way home to Goulburn to fill in our Calendars.
To continue on with one of our self-imposed challenges filling in our calendar days, we headed to Yass on the way home from Canberra for a few caches today. We found a mixture of Frogs of the World, Sausages of the World, Rocky Movies, Mixed Grills and some neatly camo'd caches. This one was found along a very familiar road. Quick find once at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks DSD !!

After a great event last night the weather was turning and I considered driving home, but hey I drove all the way out here, might as well stay the night and see how this morning was going to be. It certainly started of wet, but still doable for caching. Made my way from Goulburn to Yass via a lot of detours.

Geocaching is a great way of exploring an area. We have enjoyed looking around all parts of Yass. TFTC DSD
I loved the picture of the frog in the description. It reminded me so much of Kermit the Fog that my kids loved watching on Sesame Street. I immediately started humming “It’s not easy being green”
Thanks for the happy memories, and the cache found in feathertop’s fun company.

The afternoon was spent south of Yass. Some Yass Valley Hwy caches and then some Dog trap Rd caches as the road was bitumen, important in these flood ravaged times, though beware of potholes! An afternoon of animals, frogs, sausages and dragonstones.
Logging with Cybergran on Day 3 of our Yass and environs adventure.
Thanks DarksideDan

Came along with goingplaces2 to do some caching in the Yass area and enjoyed the finds that were made. No problems with any of these. TFTC.
Found with Tankengine, dty73, and youban. Full of stash. Up in the area for a little caching and a few FTF opportunities with Tankengine, dty73 and Youban. We met up with AngelG27 and TikvaNZ early in the morning also out for the same idea so all continued on together. Lovely sunny day to be out along the trails, although a little chilly to start with earlier! Thanks for the cache!
Found with Youban, Aquilus1 and Tankengine on the way into find some lunch and pick up the ALs. Tftc.
Chooo ooo [found] with dty73 Aquilus1 and youban! - Nice find here! Thanks DARKSIDEDAN!
Completed a bit of a circuit between Murrumbateman and Yass, mainly on roads less travelled. All attempted were found and generally in good condition. But the potholes on some of the roads were something to behold! Thankfully, full of water this morning, so easier to spot and avoid the worst of them. Thanks DSD for this massive effort in placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.
On a nice winters day with a cold breeze in the air me and IamCoust did a geocaching run around Yass and Murrambateman, driving on quiet unsealed roads picking up parts of the snake, lizard and frog series which dot the landscape out here. Most caches were easy to find so it was mainly a numbers game which was both pleasing and tiring at the same time.
Some caches we considered very near peoples properties so it was a quick get in, get out before being spotted or interrogated. Overall a very enjoyable day. TFTC

An early start to a cool and windy day with Green-Martian tackling a few of the recently published caches out and around the Murrumbateman/Yass area. We targeted a mixture of finds, following a basic route weaving back and forth along the back country roads. Most finds came without issue but the odd one here and there presented a challenge in one way or another. In that regard, any interesting or specific details relating to the find are added to the end of log. Regardless, at the end of the day there were about 60 successful finds, 1 DNF and 1 other we were not well enough prepared to tackle.
As the morning went on the numbers grew, and so did the surrounding clouds. In the end, after a solid 6 hours of caching, as the rain began to fall, we called it quits for the day.
Thanks again GM for a great day out, and the CO’s for all their hard work and effort. TNLNSL TFTC

We are into frogs and think they are spectacular creatures. Our school was involved in frog census in Victoria.
A nice quick find.
When the weather for today was predicted to be cold, windy with showers we decided to stay close to town and pick up some caches in the immediate area.
Some good hides and tough ones resulting in a couple of favourite awarded and a couple of DNFs was the result.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache DARKSIDEDAN.

A quick find this morning whilst in the area for other non-caching related purposes. I was disappointed not to find any Semolina though, the label lied! But the logbook is very crisp and in the best condition it could possibly be!

#14539 - 9:01:00 AM; Another mission with Sol de lune out along the Barton Highway to top up our daily finds by tracking down some more testudines and amphibians plus one or two others. A quick twelve for today with all caches found in good condition, including this one. Logs signed L.L10n & sdl or vice versa. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN
Out to Yass again with LuckyL10n to grab a few more for the week. All the one we attempted were found, as long as don't count the 5/1 where out ladder is no where big enough. We'll lave that for another day.....
Thanks again DSD....

#2002 Came by this cache about 7.45 this morning. This was to be 1 of 17 finds for the day with only 1 DNF, so not a bad haul over-all. Thanks DARKSIDEDAN for highlighting this little green frog.
Yabba Dabba Doo *FTF* !
A number of new caches south of Yass had me contemplate an outing. Lots seemed easy street side grabs and after some more contemplation I started an hour after publish to give them a go.
All were indeed found easily and with great care at some I managed to find 6 of them and left the other 3 new ones in the area for someone else .
This one looked a bit trickier but I managed to navigate the path to it, only mishap was a big rip in my pans as there was a particularly sharp rock in the wall - so be aware when retrieving!
Thank you DARKSIDEDAN for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
