Today was the last day of a great trip away with naughtybunny travelling all over the Fleurieu Peninsula. Another stop and saw it. Gee. Good thing I could climb up and retrieve the cache. Quickly logged and then someone stopped on the other side of the road. Damn. Did the multi nearby while we waited for them to go away. TNLN. Cheers.
Very cool cache!I have neither height nor dexterity, I'm actually a short lump with arms. Chookster, however, is tall and dexterous, so i just watched. I may have assisted with a butt-shove once or twice. TFTC Kookacrew
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Kooka Crew [^]
Nice work here. Spotted the cache as I pulled up and then did the cache thing. Added a new log as the old one was shredded.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. We went to the trouble of bringing a ladder for this trip, only to find alternate ways of getting most of the caches. Rumpuslabs gave me a leg up so I could grab the log, and again to return it. Nice spot! Found with rumpuslabs and Moxie__, TFTC
Found with while out and about with sir_spectre. I think by the end of 4 weeks of caching on consecutive days there will be no caches near home....
Thanks
Thanks
found with mogni. I saw the cache container, i then realized i didn't have a ladder. i came up with plan B. Plan B involved the use of the vechicle i was driving, i just could reach the cache. I literally just got the lid off with my finger tips, i hoped the log wasn't rammed down the bottom, nope right on top. Stamped and return log. then just as painful slowly screwing the lid back on with finger tips. That must have looked strange to passing traffic. fav point, i thought this one was amusing to do.
We stopped to look for this cache as we returned from Cape Jervis. The cache was seen rather quickly and we deployed our ladder to open it and sign the log. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Kookacrew for the appropriately themed cache.
Too short for this one. Needed Csaba! to help. Found with Csaba! and SupaOrange. Turtle Out
Came out today for a few finds with the Supa's. Like Hurtle the 4WD came in handy. Thanks
Great spot for a cache, another kooka, nothing that a bullbar and tall geokid can't reach... lol
The truth be that the ladder is buried under the going away stuff!

Thanks

After a drive to Normanville for a FTF, spent the afternoon caching around the town and it’s surrounds. This cache is one that was found today. A nice cache found on the way past which fits into the surrounds well. Quick retrieval and left as found, cheers.
Find #5020 on 3 Jan 2023.

Found during a morning of caching from Normanville to Aldinga with Team Waldron following an early breakfast event at Brighton and a CITO at Sellicks. Parked the car strategically to retrieve this one! Thanks for the cache Kookacrew.
What shall we do today? Maybe go find a cache [:o)]
Down south with Purrfect Di and Jack - a quick climb and retrieve.
We think an extra birdy landed here Nice work!
Many thanks to Kookacrew for placing and maintaining this cache on our ever expanding SA geo-map

Searching around wherever we can - looking, spotting hidden items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guess or plain old dumb luck
Plenty of the luck stuff actually !!!
*Almost all the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course.*
---
Beware ! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, floodwaters, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for bugs !!! . [xx(]
Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Great of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
We do appreciate you reading all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!
C'est Fini.

With 2 of us in the car it seemed fitting to us it to our advantage so up she went and the log was grabbed down, we signed and a second boost was had, a nice hide and a bit of a laugh for us
This weekend we headed south to the fleurieu peninsula for a camping night away and to also attend a CITO at Victor Harbour plus find a few caches along the way, total of 70 for the trip and a nice 2 days away.
Thanks for the cache

When Peas&CarrotsForever heard I was heading down south they suggested I stop for this one. Knowing that I carry the appropriate TOTT it was definitely a cache I could reach.
Off on another adventure. Heading overseas in the morning, for the night

The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle solving group had us heading southwards once again but instead of solved puzzles we were in search of caches along walks. Today it was myself, Blackadders and Anymules. [:o)] Meeting at Myponga we zigzagged everywhere in search of caches. By the end of the day we had found a few but the legs were feeling it.
More great camo that looks like it was meant to be there. Needed a TOTT to make the retrieval. FP from me for the camo. [:X]
***Thanks Kookacrew for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Another Wednesday wander of the Befuddled group with the Starfish, Adder and a Mule. The Rat was not able to join us.
Todays target area as down south around the Myponga area where a couple of high terrain hides were sought.
As always, all caches were visted and signed by all members of the group or each member had a part to play in retrieving the prize.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
A very clever and well designed hide. A definite favourite given for the effort.
Thank you for the cache %Cachename Kookacrew, found 11/05/2022

After an event at Tonsley allister w and I went for a drive down to Normanville armed with various TOTT's to find a few of the new Kookacrew caches that have recently been published. [^]
I have friends with an on site van at the nearby caravan park and I was down here a couple of weeks ago and had a look at this one but didn't have the right TOTT and even though I spotted the cache I wasn't getting it that day.
Today we had the right TOTT and the log was soon retrieved and signed.
That bird certainly looks like he belongs, a favourite for me.
Thanks for the cache Kookacrew.

A quick find while on a Sunday drive in the area. We had a step ladder with us that I used to get the cache. Great camo that doesn't look out of place. TFTC kookacrew
Found the cache but didn't have the right TOTT. Will just have to come back another day
Finally gotten around to finding this cache after driving past it twice.
First time I saw Hazel parked here getting the FTF on 26/3 however I was being driven by a muggle mate and we didnt have time to stop. Next pass was on my way to KI for a 6 day sea-kayaking trip along the NW coast, but was on the phone so didnt stop.
Third time lucky on the way back from the kayaking trip - stopped here and found the cache. A fun retrieve that required using the Forester TOTT to assist in the retrieval
Fav point for the fun in getting this one!

TFTC. what a stretch. Had to park car bonnet under it to reach it (not very discreet) as container is stuck in position. Lid hard reach to replace. Needed a 5 step ladder but who brings that on holidays. Left baby lid
Do you ever get the feeling that you are being laughed at as you reach for the cache? A bonus FTF today on my once every 6 weeks visit to the area. TFTC
