A few horses around to-day, some sort of event as the riders were all numbered. No horses up here just a gale force wind. Spent too long searching the wrong tree before moving a few metres to another for a quick find. TFTC.
Out and about caching with ftizy_1965 on a nice summer's afternoon. It has been a while since we were out this way. So beautiful out here.A tough challenge for my hip but it seems to be holding up.All caches found quick and easily unless otherwise stated.
34,206. Found with minniek during our afternoon meander around Sherwood and Dowling Hill.Headed out this way after minniek got an early mark. Parked at the familiar gate and hoofed on up the trail. We passed the caches that we did during our last visit out this way which was August 2021 ! Time flies. After finding 2 caches up the northern section of the powerline trail and 1 on the southern trail, we headed up to Dowling Hill proper. This however was a short detour for 2 more TE caches - cool. Once at GZ I was happy to do the short climb for the find. Stamped the log, carefully replaced the cache as found, then continued down to the second cache on this spur. Thanks Tankengine !!
Nice afternoon for a walk around Sherwood enjoying the surprising views, forgot my pen unfortunately so no shoddy handwriting from me today
Today I enjoyed a 21.7km eMTB ride around Sherwood Forest. This was the final cache of the day, and quite close to my return point to the carpark. I've been in this area several times and the view's always spectacular!
The cache was easily spotted at GZ, and an easy retrieval.
Thanks, Tankengine!

Took a while to spot this one but as others noted follow the Scrabble signs and all is revealed. Tftc
Today was perfect for cycling after yesterday’s cold windy wet day that only a warm car was bearable with brief outings to find caches. So, late morning we collected a few caches by bike and on foot that we had left for a short sunny warmish Winter's day of exercise like today.
After cycling 6km in Sherwood Forest we headed out Vanity Crossing/Pierces Creek way to pick up three new caches having already collected all others in this location. We walked to one of them from the locked gate for a couple of kilometres but cycled a fun 5km to collected the other two.

Yep! This was the Sherwood Forest cache. Quick easy cycle from Mountain Creek Road. Great views on a such a beautiful Winter's day. TFTC Tankengine.

I was there with a group and the CO but have realised I had not logged this one. It was a fab day to be out there. Thanks for getting me out and about Tankengine
This took me a little while to locate. I wandered around looking at a few trees before I opened my eyes properly - spying the nearby telltale signs of previously scrabbling geocachers. So I scrabbled too. And quickly spied the cache. A cool spot here. Thanks TE.

I took a walk through the forest trails with the CO and others on the weekend to find a bunch of caches. Claiming this find now the FTF has gone. Signed as Sherwood Scavengers. Thanks for putting out this cache Tankengine

#1970 Claiming the find now as was with the group upon placement. Thanks Tankengine for the cache and Sherwood Scavengers for the company.
Out with JuSoJaRa doing some rally Recce for the week ahead and noticed this one still hadn't been found. We continued around doing what we needed to do before heading up and along the way saw that the cache had been found but it was a nice easy drive to almost GZ so not complaining.

I went out with the group to find a few caches around Sherwood and beyond.

Great weather for a walk in Sherwood Forest. I have not been in this area before and it was great to pick up a few smilies in the area. Thanks to Tankengine for placing an extra one while we were out here.
I managed three different caching activities today. First was the event to get the Parkway bridge cache. Next I headed up to do the remaining Isaacs Ridge caches from the Northern end. After lunch I headed down to Nimitabel collecting caches in Numeralla and Cooma along the way. It was a long day but a huge sense of achievement.
I was out was Tankengine and several others yesterday when this cache was placed, so now it has been found I am putting in my log.
Thanks for the cache Tankengine

After this morning's event I headed off for some solo caching. First stop was this new cache. DarkSideDan was going to join me for the FTF (or was it race me!). Unfortunately he had a change of plans. The e-bike came into its own getting to (and from) this cache. It didn't take long to get here, then the cache was soon found and signed. After admiring the views, it was back down to the car and off to Tidbinbilla. TFTC.

Out with DRT today setting up for the National Capital Rally next weekend and upon entering the forest we noticed this one was still unfound. After we finished getting around the stage we drove up to GZ but unfortunately by the time we got there we were beaten to it by about 30mins.
Once there we spotted the cache and DRT made the climb to retrieve the log. TFTC
