Up visiting some friends and itching to find some Geocaches!! This was a nice little hide and thankfully didn't take too long to find!
Out for the day caching with a friend. Thanks kingfisher_au for placing the cache. This would be cache find number 142 for me.TFTC.
Out with Jeepish grabbing some caches on this rainy day for something to do. But found it quickly. TFTC.
The weather this morning was not looking great, cloudy and overcast after some rain overnight but we decided to head out anyway down to Kurri Kurri to check out the murals. We took the loop route caching as we went before spending time in Kurri to look around, complete a Lab and have some great local fish and chips before heading back the more direct but busier way.We came across some great 3D printed cache containers and a couple of innovative ones as well, also completing a multi. We managed to dodge the rain and had a good day out.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache kingfisher_au.**SKI Pair****
I didn't have to slash the seats! Took a bit of this one or that one but finally got it. TFTC
check this one out, found nothing wrong the original cache still in correct spot, found heaps of throwdowns, please ignore any of the bad containers that I haven't found and look to the hint, sometimes it's not always the obvious one
The 'host' is fine but the logsheet is in a snaplock bag as the bison is only half as previously mentioned.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Today we moved from Morisset to Maitland. Once we dropped off the van and had some lunch it was off to try and complete the Map of Tasmania. Boy was it hard work with multiple DNF's at the start, we were even doubting our caching mojo after a while. Mr F wasn't a happy driver as the roads were very busy, glad it was the weekend, assuming it's busier on weekdays[?]Got home at sunset with only 1 left to tackle tomorrow. It's a shame cachers seem hesitant to log needs maintenance and DNF's both of which help Cache owner keep on top of pending maitenance.TFTC kingfisher_au
On way back to Newcastle from Kurri Kurri. Found it and thanks kingfisher _au for placing this cache
Decided to spend some time today hunting caches around the East Maitland area with ilook4geo. There was no problem in finding this one and the log was soon signed. Thanks go to kingfisher_au for placing this cache.
Checking out East Maitland today with goingplaces2 and picking up a random selection of caches while in the area. No problem with this one. TFTC.
I was starting at another, some distance away, and realised i was going to go past this one, so made a quick detour. Once i found the right one, it was a quick find. Great start to the day. TFTCC.
Day 7. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip.
OZHockeyChick had flown in for 3 days of caching around Sydney and Newcastle and today was all about finally getting Frying Pan, and collecting some other targets.
I have a drive in 5mins drive from my house in Melbourne. They are great fun in summer. We made a quick find here as we make our way to dinner.
Thanks kingfisher_au for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

A quick trip to Sydney to meet up with RoamingHowie who was en route to QOGM.
Day Two: Main target: Frying Pan. Lots of other caches & AdLabs along the way.
I haven’t been to a drive-in movie for years and years. So many memories of my teen and young adult years.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, kingfisher_au

This is the first geocach I have ever found with my dad. We had so much funding it! This is the first of many. Thank you for hiding this one.

It's been about 2 years since I've been out caching but something made me think of caching the other day.

Cool place for drive in:) went to wrong spot at first but then found soon after. Careful of ants at GZ taking residence. Nice view of Mt sugarloaf.
Found with shaneo58, Doing a quick run up to Branxton and Cessnock on this Rainy and cool day only getting up to 22 degrees The GZ was a good 8 meters out and had us searching over the fence and near a clump of sapling trees, and the clue led us to believe it was on the galvanized fence. As we were going back to the car we spotted something and made a connection with some of the hint.
Signed log and Cache replaced as found.
**Thanks For The Cache** kingfisher_au.
This makes the 8th cache of 8 for today making a grand total of 4010 at 2:23PM on this Thursday the 23rd of February in the Year 2023

Ah, very good! I can see why I missed it last time. Beware of potholes on the road though they’re treacherous at the moment - one almost swallowed my car whole. TFTC
Well that gave me a little grief. I wanted to slash the seats. Got it in the end. TFTC KF.
Unfortunately did not find. Had a good look, but GPS was all over the place. I’ll come back another day with a different set of eyes.
Was hoping for a quick park and grab. It wasn't necessarily the case. I sent the geokids out scouting, but come back without success and begging me to help. Must admit I didn't exactly find it straightaway either. After a bit more searching we had the cache in hand. TFTC

After doing the available ALs I haven't got in the Hunter Valley, I made my way back to the highway for the trip home but not before making a stop here at a drive in I seem to recall attending once 30 or 40 years ago.
The hide took longer to find than it should have because I jumped the gun and didn't wait for the GPS to settle ... stupid me!! I then another stupid thing when I broadened my search and found the cache ... I dropped half the bison onto the ground and then couldn't find it in the grass. Unfortunately, I didn't have a replacement in the car, but I did put the log (and the lid) into a baggy in order to provide it with some protection from the weather. Hopefully, someone will find the missing bit, otherwise I'll owe you a bison next time I see you. Sorry about that, but thanks for bringing me to this relic from the past kingfisher.

A quick find with Steam koala after a mothers day visit. Shame to see all the new housing estates going up around it.

Travelling with nellc out this way looked for this cache after a couple of muggles went past. Was soon spotted and the log signed.

TFTC. A nice quick find while teaching Coopdawg how to drive. A beautiful day in the Hunter.
Found this one while waiting in line at the drive in. As we got back to our car at the gate we heard a tree branch crack and fall. Right where we had just been. . But we got the find and signed the log. Lol. TFTC

We found a cache close to here nearly 7 years ago, one of our first 50 by the looks, interestingly the day after the current CO found it!
I think todays find was much faster! TFTC!

After arriving at the cache, we had a look at the massive white screen, then decided we better get the cache as well. After a quick look we had the cache in hand.

I think our last visit to a drive-in was just after getting married, in Nowra nearly 50 years ago! Must try one again when we are up here at night. This was in a very quiet neighbourhood and a short walk from the car took me to GZ and the find. I appreciated the way the cache had been created to keep it dry, simple but effective. Thanks for a nice detour and hide on our way home.

Perfect time for a new cache publication, my day off work after a 15 1/2 hour shift.
Interesting to note, I read the hint with Dave Gleesons voice singing it in my head...if you know, you know
