Out for a 24hr caching run with steeba. We spent much of our time caching around the Yass area in an attempt to grab some numbers. Thanks to all the COs for your hides.Worthy of a favourite point. ThanksTFTC

Pretty much a 24hr run down mainly around Yass with The Rats- nice weather and daylight savings. That was indeed a cracker!TFTC!

When we knew this was "Sui cache," everything in the immediate vicinty was on the cards. After a bit of wandering up and down, I zeroed in on a likely suspect that turned out to be the item. TFTC Sui_001. A F.P.

Forgot to mention it needs a little attention. Cheers.

We finished off our caching in Yass this afternoon looking for two caches with high numbers of favourites. This was one of them. It took us a little while to locate this cache. This cache took quite some time to locate. We came, we looked and we looked again, but no joy. We then went off an ordered our tea and while it was being prepared, we read back through past logs and got some inkling of aspects of the hide. We went back and quickly located the cache, although the taller member of the team was required to retrieve the cache. The cache and contents were in reasonably good condition although a little TLC on the outside of the container would maintain the high quality of this hide. Thanks Sue_001 for a very well planned and presented cache. It earns a favourite from us too.

Now I had confirmed what I thought was the cache (and which was the first thing that attracted my attention last visit), I returned and changed to . Got the TOTT out and soon had it. No zapping involved! Cache and log are good. TFTC Sui_001.(Unlike last visit, today, no DNFs)

09-Sep-24
DNF number two today. I spotted something almost on arrival, fetched a stool to stand on. but it wouldn't budge so dismissed it. After once getting zapped fiddling with something I thought might be a cache, I no long try too hard to see if some things are caches. The zap was scary! DNF. I went for coffee instead. Nice nearby caf.

We are on a ten-day road trip from Sydney around the Central West. Travelling from Cowra to Goulburn today. Targeted this delightful geocache for a short rest stop en route. We checked out quite a few potential spots that could match. Reading some previous logs provided a different and rather safer perspective. Aha! Well-constructed, well-hidden, well-named and cheekily-placed. Have a favourite point from us, SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek

Stopped in Yass and enjoyed a nice curried egg roll from Clementines, then a nice mixed grill. Didnt take too long to find the crafted hide, and I would have squirmed and searched for much longer without TikvaNZs reassurance. A fave point awarded for the creation. Thanks Sui_001 Smile. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their long lasting, and ongoing connections to land, sea and community. Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. We moved today from Canberra to Yass. Once our camp was set up we headed to the Post Office and to tackle the linear lab in town. We managed to grab a cache nearby on our wanderings.Quick find by Mr F while Mrs F was at the post office but he dragged her back after to see if she could spot the cache. WinkTFTC Sui_001 Cool

Taking a short trip today from Canberra, although it was pouring with rain, Canberra park said we had to go as they were booked out. Arrived at Yass and the rain had eased and the sun was starting to shine. Today was a little bit of housework and off for some local area caches. Also managed to grab some AL'sOur first for the day and although I had 4000 caches in the GPS, not this one or a few more over the day so we found out, luckily I could live download.Spotted the unusal difference for this one.Fav pointTotal Caches Found 15862TFTC Sui_001

Couple of Finnish vanlifers traveling around this beautiful Australia with Matilda the campervan. Stopping here and there to enjoy life without any plans. After getting everything set up and visiting some friends, Mntti1 and I began our travels five months ago. After visiting Melbourne and Great Ocean road we worked for couple of weeks in Myrtleford for hop harvest season. We finished the season couple of days ago and made it to Canberra just on time for Mega! Today we continued our travels and made few stops along the way. One of them this fun little hide. Sharp urban hide. Add FPThe Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 3 and we had an absolute blast, after an earlier night last night we got up early to head to Yass and the surrounding areas to cleanup a bunch of caches inparticular whereigos and our personal favourite the challenge caches. We stopped in Yass and completed some high quality caches before venturing back to the trails. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. Logs signed as part of team WA/WAC (WA Crew)

More big days of caching as WAC consisting of Lachlan1.77, Leg5, neva2old, Barnzy12 and me. So many caches, so little time. Too many tree climbs for my liking but Im a chicken from way back. Thanks to other cachers for helping supply some of the required tools for the higher terrain caches. Thanks to you for hiding and maintaining so many caches for us to find.

Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. We have commenced our raid on Yass. All logs have been signed as WA to save space, abbreviation for our team of cachers from Western Australia, who are cleaning up the series together. Cheers Sui_001! Just had a great coffee down the road. We decided we would target the 2 AdLabs here, but this was so close and a good d/t. Went straight to it, working on clues and d/t. I also thinks it deserves a fp. Thanks for the fun

The Adelaide Leap Day Mega and Canberra Geobash gave us a great excuse for a road trip. This trip has shown us so many new and interesting places as weve chased LGAs, oldies, challenges, interesting D/T combinations, rarer cache types and favourites.Meeting up with friends old and new along the way, we sometimes cached together and sometimes alone but always had a great time. Today we took a wander around Yass, reading up on and visiting various historical buildings as we completed the Adlabs and other nearby caches. This was certainly an interesting container. One that we hadnt seen before. Thanks to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache and adding to our enjoyment.

I haven't seen one before like that, well done and another favourite point. My favourite grill would have to be a slab of 30mm Porterhouse from Robert Osmands cattle at Turners Flat west of Kempsey. I know how he feeds his babies, his meat is available from L-bow butchers in West Kempsey. Cooked slowly with some pink left inside. Big thanks to Sui_001 for placing this cache. Cache number 8650 on March 15, 2024

Find # 10532Making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few hours of caching fun. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up as many solves as I can to keep that long list under control. Thanks so much for the many caches Sui_001 and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light

I am heading to Cape York in a month - I am flying up but a friend from Canberra is driving to Cairns and I am meeting him there got the last haul. He has offered to take some gear up so I knocked off work today and drove to Yass. Gave myself plenty of time for caching and was mainly targeting some achieved challenges.Walking down the hill doing one AdLab and walked past here (all quiet I think this pub was shut). I should have ignored the GPS and trusted my caching brain. Put my hand next to cache but then wandered away for a minute or two. Came back and then straight onto it. Nice design and nice bold hide.TFTC Sui_001

Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case Sui_001, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.

Out in Yass for the day caching with Baristayan and couldn’t help but notice this bad boy in a potentially high muggle area.

After grabbing a coffee in the beautiful cafe next door, we moseyed on down to the pub and Baristayan’s immediate theory upon arriving at ground zero proved correct. Very crafty! Thanks

Fantastic geocache. Good one to bring to new geocachers to. We actually gave up on it. Thinking about the clues given, and other peoples descriptions “vertically challenged” We came back to it and found it! Thanks so much for a great cache

Out on a new phase of geocaching with Chocmint. Took us a while. Logs helped and rereading the description also. Had my hands in the vicinity well before we found it. Very exposed to passers by which adds an element of ‘danger’.

FFLL#1 decided to head out for the day to collect some caches towards the new Solstice achievements as we both have busy weeks in place this week. So we decided a targeted area and off we went. It was an interesting day with a range of finds, however the weather was bearable and we both had a fun day out.

After grabbing a bite to fill an empty gap, we noticed this one on the map so had to give it a crack. FFLL#1 spotted something and after a little investigating we soon had cache in hand. No issues with the finds today, logs signed and replaced as found.

Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance Sui Smile and thanks for the fun day out FFLL#1 Smile

A last minute plan was made with Rapidlywild for a trip out to get some caches as the week is looking too busy to do many during the week. So we headed out near Bowning to get a few smilies under our belt. It was a chilly day but a successful one.

Spotted something a little out of the norm here and soon had a different kind of cache in hand.

Thanks for a different kind of hide Sui_001 and thanks for a enjoyable day out and about Rapidlywild.

Found @ 11:31am with hccatcher11415 after a late breakfast at a nearby cafe.

hccatcher spotted this not long after arriving but we checked other options before returning to this spot. We used her caching tool (me) to get it and return it (facing what we believe is the correct way instead of backwards as it was when we found it).

Thanks Sui_001, nice camo

Found with allrounder on Easter Sunday after being out for brunch in yass. We hadn’t planned on caching today but this was just up from the Yass Cafe. We thought we would have a look. I spotted possible hide spot within minutes but due to being vertically challenged I couldn’t check. We searched around elsewhere for a while before allrounder (my caching tool) was able to make the find in the original spot I noticed. A fav point for me.

Spotted this one at first pass but needed to get Geoboyfriend out of the bookshop with cats to assist me so we returned later and sure enough that was it! Easy find on a rainy Good Friday morning. Cannot imagine getting that most other days that’s for sure.

Found at 1:24 PM GAFF4.
A very nice hide even though it was difficult to get a firm GPSr reading under that awning. The sad part of this cache hunt was that p-pprass actually spotted the "hide" within a few moments of the search, and said to himself "I better check that out later" and that meant that it went straight out of his mind - never to be considered again for the next 15 minutes Sad

My bbq meat on a Kamado smoker type cooker would be brisket cooked for at least 6 hrs and ten rested for 2 hrs. Straight on a bbq would be picanha - the queen of steaks!

Thanks Sui_001.
