Found by Omegaman1971

With a unexpected change in plans for today, I contacted Rebel Acts to see if he was available for some short notice caching enjoyment.

The day was long but certainly filled with much laughter and caching stories.

Cheers for the cache

Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. Today we had unfinished business back in Williamstown and Altona.

This is one of the caches found today. Saw that the cache had been found so we came for a look and soon had the log sheet in hand.

Thanks Em1croc for the cache.

#20617. It was going to be a hot day so we hopped on the bikes early and did a tour of Williamstown (along with most of the population and their doggies). Thought it would be a very quiet morning being Christmas Day. We were home again just after 10.00am, and just as the temperature was warming up.

Found the spot as indicated by the hint and found that the cupboard was bare. Left a sheet out of a log book and stamped my name. Didn't realise that you had disabled it in the last week.

Thanks Em1croc

We always enjoy a day by the water and today was no different.
At first we did feel a litttle uncomfortable here until we reread the cache notes! A quick find was made of a sneaky cache.

**FEEDBACK TO CO:** We did notice there is no identification at all to identify it as a geocache and perhaps the 'log' could be enclosed in a weatherproof container.

Thanks to Em1croc for adding this cache to the gameboard.

With the publication of some new Whittlesea challenge caches I now have to find a lot of different things on certain days so I headed over here and met up with Fleabag since he was in the area anyway.
Arrived here and found what was needed and have put a replacement log inside here so this cache can keep going. Also found a cute little grey gecko in there as well.
Thanks Em1croc for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I had this one downloaded to my GPS and didn't notice that it had been disabled. I found the cache and replaced the logbook for one I picked up from the South Australian Mega Committee. Hope this is OK! Thanks for the cache Emilia, a cool spot and found whist completing a cool train themed Adventure Lab.

With a day off today, I went right from one end of the green line to the other with a caching trip in Williamstown I'd been thinking about for a long time but never actually acted upon until today.
The weather was downright miserable the entire time and I seemed determined to wreck my already pretty beaten shoes with all the walking through surfaces of varying consistencies!
Still, the intermittent rain did a good job of scaring away the muggles and I managed to get some caches I suspect would've been significantly more difficult on a nice day.

I'd already spotted a few of these around Williamstown and really liked how some of them had been turned into community gardens.
However, my favourite would have to be the one that's been turned into a cache!
With the hint in mind, I had no problems identifying the hide and signing the log just before a train zoomed past!

Thanks to Em1croc for placing this one here! Smile

30-Aug-22
Matchlng set of these, there's a trailer the other side of the tracks too!

Another evening exploring Altona and Williamstown with Donutholes on a colder than expected night.
This was a great little garden feature with a perfect hide. Not sure about the gorilla in the mist in the photo.
Log signed and replaced as found.

Thanks for the Traditional cache Emilia

While completing a nearby AdventureLab we made a very short detour to collect this cache!!

The name of the cache says it all. It didn't take long to have the log in hand, signed and replaced.

Thanks for the hide!!

Nice quick find when your on the right trailer. Oops. I used my eyes from where I parked and not the phone. Slight detour over the tracks and I was in the right spot.

In the city for a work conference, but I thought I'd head down to Williamstown to take a look at The Timeball Tower. Then after that, to collect a few location caches. Williamstown is a very lovely area in general.

Very odd area here. This was the second rusty trailer that I'd walked past within a 2 block area. Wonder why they just get left here? Found very quickly with the help of the hint, which was much appreciated in this open area.

Thanks for the cache Em1 Croc

Took the geo-pup and geo-mum on a big walk around Williamstown to collect some new caches that have popped up in the area. We walked about 8km today and picked up this one on our travels. TFTC:)

I was in the area doing Adventure Labs mainly, but this one was on my path, so I stopped for a nice and quick find. I like the usage of the existing item to hide the cache.

Thanks to Emilia for the cache.

Out and about today enjoying the sunny weather exploring this suburban coast with Mudbrick.
We finished the afternoon's caching with a find here.
I wonder why and how this ended up here. Just shows that one man's junk is another man's treasure!
The cache was found as soon as we stopped looking in the right direction Wink. It is a crafty hiding place.
Thanks, Emilia.

I had to work today and after finishing our first job we found out that the arvo shift was working so an early day for me.
So what do you do on a cold and miserable Melbourne day Geocaching of course.
These ones have been on my map for awhile and since it is not out and about weather hopefully the place will be deserted.
I have never noticed this trailer before and I think that it will slowly melt into its surroundings over time.
I found it in the second place I looked.

Thanks Emilia TFTC.

Big things are continuing to happen! Are you joining the fun again in 2022?

16:22, 4 June 2022. #1812 (time for an overture? Smile

Had to make a quick run to Seaworks this afternoon to patronise our favourite food truck, so HerIndoorsOutdoors and I decided to make the trip a little more worthwhile by picking up a cache while we were here.

This cache was very neatly just a little out of our way on the way home, so we made a beeline for it. Not too many places to search for this one, so quickly found. Sadly, no time to do some of the other new ones in the area today, but there'll be another time.

The cache is in good condition (if a little tricky to close satisfactorily).

16:22, 4 June 2022. #514.

Our favourite food truck was working Seaworks today, so I cajoled RGSBruce to drive me there (he didn't take much convincing Wink. He did insist that, if there were any new caches around Williamstown, we should try to find at least one of them while we were there.

This cache was a good choice. Not far of our route home and a very quick find.

Particularly nasty weather, but as Chewin was passing through Melbourne on his way back home, we thought we might pop out for a few quick caches. The advantage of such weather means that the muggle population is minimal, and along places like Altona Beach that is a big advantage.

This one has been out a while, but as I have been playing around Rutherglen, I had not got around to it.
It certainly looks like the trailer has been here for a while!
Thanks, Robmc.

Logged this on cachly and was short of time to type a decent log so am now updating this log.
Was a lousy cold day but that made muggles pretty much non existent. Robmc fouund the cache quite quickly so my job was easy.
Thanks indeed.

Suscoe headed to Melbourne today.
It was a pleasant late Autumn day with early sun and later on some clouds and a few spits of rain that hit the windscreen.
We enjoyed our day catching up with family and had the chance to pick up a few caches in between.

Thanks to Emilia for this hide, another quick find.

Found by Mary and David at 14:20. So good to be finding a "small"and not the micros we did yesterday. Much easier on our old eyes. With all that rust, we were pleased that we are up to date with our tetanus shots. Managed some train spotting while we were here. Our thanks to Emilia_rossiiiii.
