With a little time still on hand before my flight back to Brisbane, I figured I had tome for just a couple more icons, so a couple of pre-solved caches were in order. Arriving near this one, I took a short stroll and immediately identified GZ. A brief scan and voila, container in hand. Big GrinI added my name, returned as found and headed for another cheeky grab before the flight.Cheers OzGrumpy.

After a great Leap Day Mega event a couple of days ago and a nice road trip to Victor Harbor and catch up in Glenelg yesterday, today I was mostly by myself on my last day here apart from when I attended a couple of events. I drove around doing whereigos, a few multis and a few puzzles I had solved. As I got slowly closer to the airport I did some ad labs and a fair few trads until I had to head off to catch my flight. It was the end of an enjoyable few days.Someone was practising tennis against the wall when I arrived but they left straight away which made it great for me. Thanks OZGrumpy for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Pretty cool spot to watch arriving and departing planes!Thankfully Google Maps is still showing the 2002 version of the courts, although I'm sure the locals would prefer the new surface over the old.Cache had quite a bit of water. Drained it, log was fine nice and dry.TFTC

quick solve and find. Log wet. Another one of this series down.
Found with Mogni. We came down today to complete some Adventure labs stages we started last time we were in the area, do some other adventure labs from start to finish, we also attended a couple of events, a got a wherigo on my last calendar day in any calendar month or year ( 31 out of 31 ), plus we got a reasonable number of puzzles, multi's and trads along the way while going from cache to cache. I also got to clear a couple of DNF's since they have been replaced since by last visit. The rain held off for most of the day, just a few patches of rain till we were at the SAGA dinner event.

This week, I was on a business trip from Brisbane to Adelaide as part of a conference and exhibition, so it was an opportunity to catch up with friends and collect a few geocaches.

On my way to the airport, my flight was delayed (not surprising given it was one of the last of the day), and my chauffeur (my mother) was happy to make a couple of unscheduled geocache stops along the way, which included this one. I had checked out this multi-cache before leaving home, and reviewed the number of tennis courts as of 2022 ahead of time, but it was good to confirm that figure upon my arrival. We arrived and I took a walk to my calculated GZ, and then found the cache within a few minutes in a logical hiding spot. The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook was ever so slightly damp. I don't think it will be long before that dries out, so probably no issue here. Thanks OZGrumpy for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Yesterday was multi frenzy, but I’m still way off the 750 needed for the next challenge, so I had a look to see what was lying between this morning’s breakfast event and home, and this jumped out at me. No one on the courts this morning, but a few plane spotters at the end of the street watching craft coming in from the northeast. At least three international carriers seen across the runway. Back to the cache - nice and dry, and returned as found. Thanks for the cache and series OZGrumpy.

Much thanks for the cache placement and maintenance OZGrumpy . Cool

--------------------------------------

Cache carefully out there,
it's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees Surprised
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away Wink

--------

Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids.
No apples or other fruit needed Big Grin An apple a day doesn't keep the doctor away, we've tried that Razz

----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Wink (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside Big Grin

It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting Cool

Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Wink Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Big Grin [:o)] Wink

The end. For now...

... until next time! Wink

JTreeTrack2 and Dromaniax decided that the long weekend represented a perfect opportunity to cache South Australia. After work was over for the day, it was a case of packing the fill-in geomobile, the Black Squid and hitting the road Jack. We won't be back until we have found around 500 caches.

We have prepared well for the weekend with plenty of target caches in our sights. We are looking for old, large, and virtual caches and all the while intending to increase our average D and T for finds.

Most of our logs will be generic, as there will be many of them.

We thank all cache owners for their time and effort in creating caches for our entertainment. Unless otherwise specified, we found all caches in great condition.

Thank you from Dromaniax and JTreeTrack2.

Today I decided to head out towards the airport to target a few caches in the area that had been sitting on my to find list for a long time. This cache was my first stop of the afternoon and, after parking in an appropriate spot, it did not take me long to work out the final coordinates. A short walk later and the cache was in hand. The log book was signed, the cache replaced, and I was on my way to my next find.

Find #7340

Another day, another cache.

After picking up some groceries for the family I was contemplating what cache I should go for.

I originally stopped by a puzzle belonging to this CO, but persistent muggles prevented me from even getting out the car so this cache was the next on the list.

I got out the car, gained the required numbers and set off for GZ. A quick find was made thanks to accurate coordinates.

One of my favourite past times was watching the planes, so I sat up the road for about 15 minutes doing so. Thanks OZGrumpy for combining two of my favourite things together!

Cache is in good condition.

I heard something about a badge level thingy for writing longer logs... so feel to ignore from this point onwards.

Thanks for going to the effort to prepare, hide and submit this geocache for me to find, another smiley for my geomap.

Thanks to the cache owners who do regular maintenance checks to ensure other players have an enjoyable experience when out in the field.

Your cache has been retrieved and the log book has been signed with the trusty stamp or a good old pen on paper, with the exception of virtuals, EarthCaches and webcams of course.

Needed to come over this side of town for some shopping and while here this was the first of three Game Set and Match caches targeted and found.
Have been here before to find a now archived cache. A quick find after getting the data and calculating GZ.
Thanks to OZGrumpy for another cache in this nice series.

A mid-evening wander to get the 10,000 steps in for the day took me past the airport and towards this cache. I hadn't seen this one on the map before - clearly I have not been paying attention to newly published caches near to home. Under the cover of darkness I obtained the information required and made the walk to GZ to find the cache. TFTC OZGrumpy

I was on my way to a netball match at Mile End so thought I would make a small detour to come and find this cache. [^]

I had worked out the number before leaving home so I headed straight to GZ where the cache was soon found and the log stamped. Big Grin

Thanks for another cache in this series OZGrumpy. Smile

Because of the rain and other commitments, there was only a small amount of time to cache today. But in the time available, we looked for and found four. This was one of them.

Data collection was straightforward and we soon had coordinates for GZ. When we got there (which wasn't far), we were able to make a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks OZGrumpy for this cache and the series.

Plenty of activities on the courts. Cricket was one!! Not expected in the middle of winter. Two planes landed while I was there. Impressive.

I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.

This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Today we headed a few hours earlier before picking up some family members at the airport so came last and did a few new caches in the area.

A peaceful spot right next to the airport, we came and a solo kid was climbing on the nearby equipment so waited him put before making the easy find. Cache and contents are all good

Thanks for the cache

Today I tried three caches, all multi-caches. End up two FTF and 1 STF. Glad for the results.
This was my first find for today.
Drove to the listed location. Got the information required. Walked to the final location, and found the cache easily.
Surprisingly found a blank log book. Signed the log book, and re-hid the cache.
Thanks for the "Game Set and Match" multi cache series, OZGrumpy.
