I know we were here for a cache but there's one thing that distracts me from looking. And it was here. I love these things. Exchanged a book while shazzar66 and MrG looked for the cache. TFTC peasoup62.
GCLOGAN Wednesday Looking for another full day of caching, I packed my car the night before so I could get an early start for the day.Out solo for the morning, I rounded up a few more smiles before the event. After I met up with Geono, we headed to this one together.Quick find by Geoff as Nola was exchanging books, haha.I found your cache, Old School today.peasoup62, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Looking forward to all the GCLogan activities and events; during the events and caching activities, I teamed up with Bluewattle, Grannysmith and Snickersallan as we worked our way around the areas collecting the new caches, and even some older ones. We managed to attend most events, a few citos and some meal events. It was great to see the many different faces turning up to the different events. Today I was chasing a few caches and a couple of the events. Our team was happy to grab a whereigo or a UGO as they are known down this way. I am glad we got to do these as a group, we always seem to run into issues like the phone dying or the app dies off so there is safety in numbers. Between events and cache runs we also stopped at a few to clean out an area or stopped at for a particular reason. This was one of those, we signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for placing.
Found with smittengranny during GCLOGAN whilst the great kayaking expedition was occurring. TFTC.
This one had Cosmonaut99 and me confused for a while. It turns out we had actually found it, but we weren't sure until we checked back through some of the other logs. TFTC peasoup62 Very clever
Wasnt sure if it was it but noticed no one had found it since it was replaced. Great find!
It was so cute and very adorable to find, definitely an inspiration and something creative we should all try to do thank you so much !!!
Found it, super cute. Took a little while coz my daughters kept saying there was nothing there we left a little paper star in the box close by
On my way to the gym and then work today and I needed a find for the calendar. I came prepared with the Life of Pi and made a swap. I moved the cache out of the way to have a better look. I love how you designed this to match! Wonderfully done. Can’t wait to see if mine is ever made. Thanks for this
My granddaughter is staying with us for a few days and was getting a little bored. She wanted to go find a geo cache and this one is the last one I needed to find near my house. We took a book to exchange and she found a book for herself. TFTC peasoup62

It's the G4s caching day today. Some caches south/south-west of where we live - nice to get out after a momentous adventure around Longreach placing caches.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10.40am on Saturday 10th June 2023. TFTC, peasoup62.

This was the first of today's cache finds.
Love the originality of this one; very clever
We're suckers for little free libraries and as such we usually have ready to swap.
We enjoyed looking through the books and of course, the icing on the cake, signing the novel cache log.
Thanks Peasoup62 for a great experience.

Omg I love it! These book share things are fantastic and I love how you hide the cache! AmaZing! Thanks for the cache, it was about to get dark so I left the lights on!
This was a welcome find on a grey showery day what a great concept has to be seen to be believed. TFTC guys biggsy77
In the Logan area, grandie sitting for two weeks. Dont have lots of time to cache, in fact, using "just before school pickup" as our excuse to get out of the house. Trying to pick days from our grid to get us up to 7 times around by the end of the year. This was one such day.
Found the cache hider quite quickly, but it took me a while to find the log book. I was always a bit slow at school. Thanks peasoup62 for a clevour hide. Fave point today

Doesn't seem to be a riddle or anything to locate or solve. It's just there! Awesome to know it's here though! Signed the log!
We are always up for a bit of a community library visit although these days it seems we are only there to find a cache. I once used to be an avid book collector and reader but then I discovered girls and the reading took a back seat.
In fact when I was about 6 or 7 I stole my mums library card so I could get out “The Joy of Sex” from the library. At the time I didn’t know what sex was and even though I read the book cover to cover 10 times over I was none the wiser. My mum also wasn’t impressed with the thousands of dollars in late fees from the library because she didn’t return the book on time.
It would appear that library late fees are a thing of the past. These days you can get a book out and just keep extending it for an unlimited amount of time. Why didn’t they have this rule when I was about 8 years old and got out the book of Kama Sutra from the library that I also didn’t understand and nearly bankrupted the family? At least it had drawings.
A favourite point awarded to the pile for the unique twist. tftc

Super fun afternoon just went looking for some geocaches near me and found this one this was amazing and easy to find
Out on a caching adventure with my boy this morning and this one happened to be our first find.
Before I'd got out of the car, he had found it. We both liked this one, very clever.

Out for a bit of a pedal. Trails to wet to ride. No trouble with this nice little hide.
This afternoon/evening, I joined Beardman75 and karicka in making the drive south to attend the *Logan Goecaching Catchup* event. We had a few strategic stops between the three of us, but largely we were happy in having a few finds and grabbing dinner at the venue (and I was happy with not needing to drive through congestion!). An enjoyable evening of conversation and banter.
Our final cache find for the evening, and as we navigated through the complexity of the side streets, we arrived to see someone using the driveway nearby. Once they had vacated the area, we made a quick find at GZ, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks peasoup62 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Someone was pulling out of the driveway as we arrived. After they left we made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
I knew the type of hiding location before I came looking for the cache. There seems to be a lot of them around these days.
I parked right beside it and hopped out. I thought I would be searching for some time but the cache was the first object I checked.

Having enjoyed a lazy breakfast with a friend in Ormeau this morning I’m now making my way home in a very roundabout way…
Having just hunted three archived caches across the Albert River and been unsuccessful at all three it was nice to just pull up to this cache…
Even though Geepers wanted me quite clearly on the other side of the road, there really was only one option…
Tftc… I should have brought something to swap out for the Stephen King novel…

Thank you for hiding this geocache peasoup62, without hiders the game wouldn't exist

After a DNF close by I thought that I should try for at least one more cache. Arrived near GZ and saw a suspect location on the other side of the road. I thought this would be a really tricky one but it must not have been too hard because I had the clever cache in my hand in no time. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Living nearby, we actually drove past this on the way to school the other day, but our quick look missed it. We hadn't got back yet, and then today master 8 ran in to tell me while he was rising he saw a family finding the geocache. He came back with a clue from the family, so we walked over and he proudly grabbed the cache.
Geocaching is great for so many reasons, but today it is because it is helping my son develop his social skills. Thanks to the previous finder for the kindly interaction with my son.
