On Holidays At Caloundra last day cruising around Caching with Hatzofff RoddyC and Mumma Bear And The Cubs (MummaBear66, Princess1005, DFC_JLK2019, T1ny96 and Captain Moneky96) so we decided to target some oldies aswell as many other caches as we can. TFTC spiderwebbs4
In the Sunshine Coast with RoddyC and Mummabear66 and Princess1005. Today we ventured away from the busy coast area. One of our areas was Eudlo. It seemed a little sleepy when we arrived but managed to wend our way around to the points of interest. Thank you for bringing us here spiderwebbs4
With hatzofff and crew .I must admit, Ad Labs in small towns are a great way of obtaining an appreciation of the town. Eudlo was nice.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 1:51 pm on 25 October 2024. TFTC, spiderwebbs4.

Out and about around most of the sunny coast targeting primarily caches with DTs that I require for a challenge I am close to qualifying for! This was the next one on my list for the day. Had solved the AL a few months ago but now I possess a tree fishing pole so I could claim the find this time. Council worker central here today, but none of them noticed my tree fishing behind all the trees. Took a little while to spot the cache, but once I did it truly sticks out like a sore thumb with that bright green colour. Soon had it down from its perch. Log signed, and back up it went. Thanks spiderwebbs4!
This cache was a true gem! The combination of the lab cache challenge and the mystery cache hunt made for an unforgettable experience. Retrieving the cache using the tree fishing pole added an extra element of thrill to the adventure. Signed the logbook. Thanks to the cache owner for creating such an inventive and enjoyable geocaching experience!Happy Caching!
Found with Dora the Explorer! The place looks very pretty at the moment after all the recent rain. The Lab Cache was fun and the Bonus was a real Bonus.TFTC
I spent a few hours visiting Eudlo. It was a spot that I hadnt visited before, and I knew that there was a selection of caches in the vicinity. Its not that I lived too far away, maybe 25 min, it was just that I needed to purposefully go there, as it really wasnt on my way to anywhere. I spent a few hours visiting the area, I had a coffee and cake from the local coffee shops and found all the caches around the area. What a nice spot! Thanks for introducing me to this lovely area. I ended up finding six caches plus this Ad Lab and bonus. It certainly too me a little while to locate the sneakily camouflaged cache, which blends in very well with the foliage. Im not sure how many laps and angles I needed to eventually spot it, but thankfully I left with a smiley. Thanks, spiderwebbs4, for the adventure, for bringing me to this location and for the chiropractors billhahajoking!
Couldn't figure this one out. No fish day and thankfully not warm enough for snakes.
Not sure what the map on the Geochecker was all about. The coordinates seem to be a more likely spot, stupid as it was.

Out finding a few caches with CuriousQuest. My caching buddy had already completed the Adventure Lab, but was happy for me to do it. Once I had GZ sorted, we headed there. My phone didn't like it here and had me searching all over the place. I put it down and left it alone for a while, while I continued to search. I went back to the phone and it seemed to have settled. When I picked it up, it decided it didn't like that and wanted me searching all over the place again. Grrrr! I put it in my pocket and continued my search. Eventually, Mr Curious Quest spotted the cache only a few metres from where I was looking. Tool deployed, cache in hand, log signed and cache returned to its spot before we continued on our way. TFTC
Out and about with Selvia Girls today. After completing the lab we want to GZ. A nice quick find was made log was signed and everything was replaced as found. TFTC,
This was our fourth visit to sleepy Eudlo and the one thing I wanted to tick off was a coffee at the cafe. The signs for food were out, the tables and chairs were on the footpath and it all looked good. Then we got close and the sign on the door told us the place wasn’t open on Saturday. S#!t!
At least this time the place was anything but sleepy. In the end we got the only free car park available. We started the lab and then went to the general store for a coffee which I wasn’t holding a lot of hope for. I have to tip my hat because the brew was lovely and Mrs Woodyrothwell got the salad of the day which was freshly made in front of our eyes. In fact the salad was so good she told me to award this cache a favourite point before we had even found it.
I had an inkling where the hide might be so took the fishing pole to finish off the lab. However spying the cache took a bit of time even after reading the logs. I sent a message to the CO knowing I would spot it straight after and that trick worked a trick.
Before her shoulder surgery Mrs Woodyrothwell used to be our tree fishing gun. She hasn’t been on the reel for 6 months and this was her first crack back at it. She was a little bit rusty, but was soon back in the swing of it. tftc

We did this ad lab months ago but didn’t have a fishing pole with us at the time so had to leave the bonus.
Back in the area today “running errands” with EeePees. Armed with our sneaky fishing pole we made our way to GZ and soon had the cache in hand.

Had a lovely late afternoon wander around Eulo doing the AL and collecting clues for this bonus , think I'm in the correct spot but the light is fading and I just can't spy it. Oh well. I have the co ords and I will try again next time I'm out here. TFTC.
3rd Time here trying to locate this one - I bought Mrs.K as well today with her binoculars to help locate.
With 20 minutes of searching and still no luck I used the phone a friend option as I felt 3 times here to locate was a legit reason for help .
A quick chat and question asked we moved our search to a more logical tree and after that it was a quick find and retrieval ,
Signed log kingfisherau 1:15 pm 1/6/2023 and replaced all as found,

Really enjoyed the adventure cache and exploring Eudlo! Unfortunately despite having the co-ordinated I couldn’t locate the cache
spiderwebbs4 I found your cache WOEIE - Adventure Lab bonus on 30/12/2022, 3:10 pm. This is my find 4601 and find # 3 today. Took a while to locate, not the tree I thought it would be in. Retrieved, signed and returned. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Made my way to this township today and completed the AL with one station I needed a telephone joker.
Lucky I parked 20m from GZ when I did the final step with the checker.

Two visits to Eudlo in a day!
Very cosy tiny town.
After completing the lab, took some time to find a sign hidden behind tall grass, I spent a lot of time looking in the trees.
Left and reached out to CO.
Turned out that I had been too far down the slope.
By chance we came back late in the arvo, quickly spotted the cache, within an absolutely acceptable tolerance. Soon it was back up on its perch.
Thank you

After grabbing the AL and gathering the information required for this one, it was a short stroll to this one.
I must say it took some looking for, eventually I spotted the little sucker and made a quick retrieval
Once the log was signed everything was replaced as found.

Paddle time again on Lake Baroon. All I had to claim was the event and one challenge cache. I had fun paddling to all caches left on the lake with caching friends.
After finishing kayaking I grab a few more caches local.
Today haul was. 3 mystery, 2 traditional, Event and a Adventure Lab with 5 waypoints. So the total was 11 finds.

On my way back from a paddle on Paynters Creek with geo friends when I thought I would do a detour to Eudlo and grab an Adventure Lab. It was a lovely walk around this quaint little town, it was also a good thing that I ran across Brislions who helped me locate some missings butterflies
With sums done, we headed off to the GZ area and found an ideal location for some tree fishing, my favs! Brislions had his trusty ToT and executed the retrieval and replacement of the container with ease.
Thanks spiderwebbs4 for the bonus cache and the great hide.

I do love Eudlo. I’ve been here a handful of times but really just passing through. We stopped and had breakfast at sweethearts cafe once, and today while doing the adlab we stopped and had lunch there. Granted, we spent half an hour googling while we ate. Trying to find the answer to one of the questions to no avail. Thankfully a PAF pointed us in the right direction and eventually we were able to find the relevant info sign. It was lovely to spend some real time around the town itself and we did a number of caches here and in the surrounds today, making it our one destination. Will have to return for a coffee at the general store another day ️. Thanks for the bonus Spiderwebbs and highlighting this hinterland hub.
WOEIE - Adventure Lab bonus
D 4.0 T 2.5 Small Mystery Cache
Great girls day out with AtTheLakeHouse.
This is my first time in Eudlo but had paddled the creek further down.
We couldn't find one of the answers so we went back when we got a hint from PAF.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here spiderwebbs4.

Did the AL on 29/5/22 but waited until today so we could team up with janetwil for a joint assault on the Bonus Cache. Parked close to GZ where we meet up with Janet, my GPS took me to the far side of the creek which turned out to be incorrect. Janet with her eagle eyes soon spotted the cache, then it was up to me to retrieve it. All went well and we both signed the log and replacement went fairly well. Now off to the General stores for a coffee and a chat about all things geocaching. TFTC spiderwebbs4
We completed the AL soon after it was published and enjoyed the walk around the village. I met up with DickBev this morning at GZ followed by coffee at the General Store. The cache was retrieved, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks spiderwebbs4 for this one.
We used the sunny weather today to take my muggle brother to Eudlo by car .
I noticed the AL yesterday whilst at the Sunshine Coast. Yes, we know where Eudlo is from our many stops with our motorbikes.
We walked around the little town, had a break at the General Store which has extended its business over the years and offers now coffee, pie, cake, lunch, etc in a beautiful setting.
one location confused us, but got the answer in the end.
We found the fish, and signed the logsheet.

Checked a few of the options around GZ before resigning ourselves to search the tree that it was actually in. So many options here but after a few circuits it was spotted. Thank goodness for the colour which made it a little easier. Enjoyed our wander around this small town collecting the answers. Just as we had brought the cache to earth, Que Sera turned up, perfectly timing her arrival. Replacing the cache, we continued on our day. Thanks spiderwebbs4
I was up from Brisbane visiting my family and on the way home i decided to pick do the lab cache and did not realise it had an added bonus until i spotted someone who could only be caching as they had a fishing pole. I had not completed the lab cache by now but i introduced myself and happily added my name to the log. It was great to meet some cachers out in the wild and especially great as i did not have my fishing pole with me today as i only decided to come here after my family visit. This town is such a lovely town and what a great way to explore with the lab cache and added bonus. I must admit i added a few crosses to the checker by not reading the information correctly in my usual style. Thank you for taking me here and for all the fun. Giving it a FP for all the fun
11:50:00 AM. After our walk around the village gathering the clues we sat down to work out the word we needed. Looks like it would help if I could count as we had one letter wrong. Solved that and with the right co-ords headed off. Dodging the wet parts and trying to keep Zara clean we arrived at GZ. After some looking the better half spotted the cache. Retrieved and log signed and cache back where we found it. Thanks for the exercise and walk in the sun. Thanks for the cache spiderwebbs4.
After an enjoyable wander around town with a coffee and cake I sat a worked out where I needed to go next. I had a senior's moment on my first attempt before remembering that three is before four.
Once I sorted that I soon had the coords and I headed off to GZ. I had to take care wandering around at GZ with my head craned but I eventually ended up spotting the cache.
Retrieval was easy and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Been quite a while since I’ve had a FTF on the sunny coast and this one lured me in nicely. After struggling to find another
Of the COs offerings the other day I was optimistic how well I would go here. Well,Just like most multis I made a mess of it, then I was panicking at GZ cos it wouldn’t jump out at me.Me and green containers just make life hard, but I was very relieved to spot him. GZ was about 10 metres out for me but it was the most logical nicest tree which would make for a good tree climb.
Thank you so much spiderwebbs for the ADventure Lab and bonus. You got to love 6 finds in one and nice to see another one of our quaint little towns on the sunny coast have an AL to draw in the caching fraternity.
Cheers
