[JJ52](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=JJ52) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9TMKQ/68955 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if she qualified for this challenge and she did.In total, I have 150 finds, qualified for this challenge.I have visited this group of Challenge caches a few times and signed the log for this one on my first visit in December 2022. At that time I had 21 Earthcaches to find before I qualified for this one. After finding an Earthcache on the weekend I discovered that I now have 150 so I'm happily logging this one as found. It looks like another trip will have to be made as this series has been added to!Thanks for the cache The_Tritonz.

After driving through Dimboola multiple times we decided this time to divert and sign all the challenges along here including the new ones. We qualify for most but not all yet.TFTCC Smile[Brad&Janet](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Brad%26Janet) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9TMKQ/68955 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.In total, I have 348 finds, qualified for this challengeBrad and Janet are on another epic trip. This time across South Australia to Broken Hill. Then through central and Northern NSW and up into Qld where we will be picking up a new hybrid house-on-wheels. Then we will head south down through more of NSW via Sydney to catch up with B2. Then further south until we get into Victoria from where we will head back into South Australia. Along the way we will grab caches of opportunity.

Challenge cache located and signed back in September 23 and its been quite a challenge (sometimes even torture) to reach the magical number of 150.. I'm not a big fan of Earthcaches I find that the questions are often ambiguous, repetitive or down right not interesting On the rare occasion I have found an awesome Earthcache or 2 ...sadly non of the last 50 completed in Europe were particularly memorable...and the translation often got interesting but anyhow here are my qualifying stats.. with some but not all of my Earthca finds..[Tiz13](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Tiz13) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges//68955 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.In total, I have 150 finds, qualified for this challenge. Im flying solo today and decided Id drive out here and find a few extra caches, even though Im not quite eligible to log them yet. I have to say that I find EarthCaches quite challenging at times, but always very interesting. Its always great to find out more about our huge wide world. Went straight to this one. Thanks The_Tritonz for creating the challenges. Ill be very happy when I can officially log them all as found.

I signed this today and if I ever qualify for this cache, I think I deserve a doctorate in geology. Please have it ready!

I'm out and about with Ronice88 today after the Lameroo JLWE events. We decided to head out to Dimboola to pick up these challenge caches. Unfortunately I don't qualify for this one as yet, however the log has been signed in readiness for the day that I do qualify. I think that day is not too far off as I have 110 to date.

Found this whilst in the area but I am yet to qualify. So I have stamped the log and will log as a find once I qualify.

Found at 1:39 PM GAFF1.Thought that this one had been muggled at first as the camo was sitting on top of the log and there was just an old saucepan in the hole! However after checking the inner recesses, the "big bucket" was spotted [:o)]Thanks to The_TritonzAs at 21 April 2024 our stats show that we have found 302 Earthcaches.

Well after my two weeks away to Tasmania, then to SA for the Leap Year Mega then a couple of weeks at home then off to Canberra for the OZ Mega. It's back to streak time again.Im now back at home so it is back to suburban or rural caches after work to try and beat my last streak of 67.It is just a personal challenge that Im working on.So it is now decision time to either take a small detour on the way home or a larger detour on the way home to find a cache to keep this going. So todays detour is not even a detour as I am heading straight home since Im signing off challenge checkers. This one was finally achieved somewhere between all of those events. Im slowly going through my challenge cache list to tick off ones that I now qualify for.Posums has used Project-GC Challenge Checker to see if he qualified for this challenge and he did.In total, I have 225 finds, qualified for this challenge. Thanks The_Tritonz TFTCC.

TFTC! 19 March 2024 8:28:35pm 7662 thanks to The_Tritonz for the cache! When we signed this cache on the way to the mega we were still a way off with only 130 earth catches. We have just clocked our 150th! (As per our profile!)We enjoy learning about the area and geology around us, and love the lessons that the COs present, and love when they can teach us more! Thanks

As our convey of three vehicles headed across from SA through VIC & NSW, we are focusing on collecting some LGAs before heading to the ACT Mega. To save space on all log sheets, we signed as 5 for QLD.All caches we found were in good condition, and with the odd wet logbook being replaced with write in the rain paper.Snickersallan fulfills challenge 150 Earthcache Challenge (GC9TMKQ) according to https://project-gc.com/ChallengesThank you to all cache owners for placing these hides for the benefit of the geocaching community ??

We attended a Mega in Adelaide for Leap Year, and are now slowly making our way to Canberra for the Easter Mega. We called in here to find this series of Challenge Caches, because we know we are close to some and will fill others in the future. We are using the Acronym 5 for QLD to sign the log sheets. As this is a bulk GSAK logging, I do not have time to check the individual cache to see if I qualify just yet. That will come later. Today, I am just recording that my name is in the log Sheet. It was a pleasant drive through that countryside, and we were pleased to find all the caches on our list. So, log signed and cache replace as found on 16th March, 2024. TFTC, The_Tritonz.

Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in late Tuesday night then packed the Geowagon and headed off to SA early Wednesday morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border and staying in Millicent, Wellington, Cape Jervis, Kingscote and then in Adelaide for a week and an half Im now safely back in Victoria on home soil. The Leap Year Mega was a great event and I had a ball and another Mega to add to my list.Stayed in Nhill last night as Kaniva was booked out for a wedding and now to make the final trip home. After attending a Wedding in Dimboola I followed this track home to sign these challenges and I will check them when I get home to see if I qualify. Thanks The Tritonz TFTCC.

26-Feb-24
Heading to Bordertown en route to the Adelaide Mega, I stopped by a few caches to break up the journey. When I first checked by number of earthcaches, it was 101. Today, it is now 120, so I still have a way to go. I'm not a big fan of earthcaches (and I guess it shows). Eventually I'll be able to claim a smiley here.My thanks to The_Tritonz for the cache.

Alltid hyggelig med et nytt smilefjes p kartet.????Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, Norge????????????Me and MrVon sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.????We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N4 (ingsve, Von sr. TeamEika and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.????Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway????????????[Ellen Sch](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Ellen%20Sch) har brukt [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9TMKQ/68955 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") for se om vedkommende er kvalifisert for denne utfordringen, og det er vedkommende. In total, I have 220 finds, qualified for this challenge.

As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip. In total, I have 445 finds, qualified for this challenge.

Found this cache on a 24-day trip to Australia and New Zealand with a night of stopover in Qatar. In Qatar we have an evening and almost a full day of geocaching before we take the long flight to Downunder. In Australia we will visit the citys of Sydney, Melbourne, Aidelaide and Cairns. Our stays in New Zealand will be in Aukland, Rotorua, Wellington, Blenheim, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown. For me the focus will be on old caches, placed in 2000 and obviously on the remaining webcams in Australia and New Zealand. We are a group of 38 Geocachers from Germany, Denmark and Luxembourg. At geocaches that we visit as a group, we sign the logbooks with our team-name "Team DownUnder24" to safe the owners a lot of space in the logbooks. For two days keeiner and me split of the group and headed to Aidelaide for the 3 webcams there. We took a rental car and a night in the Hotel there.A quick one here on a short detour.Merci frs Dosal sogt da GoanToni Thanks to The_Tritonz for hiding and maintaining this geocache.

Log signed on an earlier pass through this district when the roads were dry.

I can’t say that I really go seeking out Earthcaches, I’ve done the majority of ones available in the greater Adelaide area, and on top of all this I always keep a few up my sleeve for Earthcache Day. In addition, I have signed a challenge that requires ten Earthcaches in a day (GC475HW), I’m saving the cluster on the Yorke Peninsula for that.

However I recently noticed that I only needed just three Earthcaches to meet this challenge, and so the hunt was on. A trip to the Eyre Peninsula gave me what I needed.

Thanks for the challenge Tritonz.

Found with JJ52 and Michells&hound on our Ballarat Geo Tour trip. We left Adelaide early Friday morning and travelled home Sunday. We found all the Ballarat Geo Tour caches over the weekend as well as a few others along the way. We even attended a event in Sebastopol on Sunday before we headed home. Presently I have 95 more Earthcahes to find before I can log a find on this cache.

Only found two of these challenge caches today. I’ll be back one day for the rest. I love Earthcaches and have 319 finds.

A big day today. Started with a 5k run in Frankston and a new LGA, another new LGA in Melton for lunch, the big Koala, a few challenge caches in Dimboola and an oldie and finished in Keith with an evening drive.

What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was amazing and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then a change of plan and we ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.

The_Tritonz, I found 150 Earthcache Challenge today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Stopped to get a cache or five in a new LGA. quick find.
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

I was on a road trip with sushilord heading to Bendigo for a few days and finding caches far and wide. We weren't after numbers just out of the way places and caches with lots of favourite points. We had an enjoyable and fun time, but I was stuffed by the time we got home. Big Grin

We were on our way home and decided to stop at these challenge caches even though I don't qualify for them all...more challenges to work towards. [^]

I need 21 more Earthcaches to qualify so will have to make more of an effort. Stamped the log in readiness. Big Grin

Thanks for the cache The_Tritonz. Smile

JJ52 and myself had a fun and productive three days traveling to visit Bendigo and finding some caches along the way. Any excuse to stretch the car's legs. Today it as time to head home via some back roads to gather up some out of the way caches.

I have done this great little series twice as Papi4506 and I completed it before heading out to Kiata to camp and again the following day with Team Crackers. It is a lovely area to take a drive although I wasn't expecting prime movers on the road this early. Not sure who got the biggerst surprise though, the driver or myself. Thanks for placing these caches. Now to work on qualifying for as many as possible. Thank you for placing them and setting some new challenges.
Still about 500 or so behind in my logging so will check later and see what I qualify for. Thanks.

Road-trip!!!’ Things had started to settle down post Mega so I decided to jump on board The Tritonz latest desert adventure. I ended up leaving later than planned so there was some night time caching involved.

Signed the log for this one in the dark but I still have some earth caches to collect before I qualify for this one.

Thanks The_Tritonz for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

November 2022. Time for the second Victorian Mega of the year. This time in Whittlesea. What is it with W's? Time for another epic road trip. Who will join our merry crew? We traveled from South Australia and camped in the pig pen. It rained. It blew. It was sunny. It was not sunny. All four seasons. Beautiful location and some awesome caches.

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 1: No Entry - Wrong Way. Surprised

Once again myself and Anymules headed to Victoria for a Mega event ignoring the very familiar sign at the border. Wink As usual despite leaving early and only wanting to get to Ballarat we arrived at our overnight digs just as it was getting dark. [^] We stopped for a few new caches and lab caches, many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs. Cool

Found and signed with dalerious. Yeah, don't need to say we have a ways to go on claiming this one Red Face.
Thank you The_Tritonz Big Grin.

The Trip
We talked about planning this odyssey months ago, but put the finishing touches to the plan in the last couple of weeks.
We were hoping to undertake two challenges. One was to log a cache in as many counties in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales as we possibly could, as well as logging caches that were placed on the pages of the UBD Victorian Road Atlas as well.
dalerious got to work strategically picking caches that we needed. No easy task, but he is so adept at it. I get the car and supplies ready, and drive.
We had only 2 full days to do all this in, as well as an event to attend to in Mildura.
Quite an ask, but yet again dalerious and I not only marked of all the caches we had on our list, but we were lucky enough to add more.
We had an awesome time away travelling around hop, skipping and jumping from one state to the next. With the exception of hitting one Kangaroo, no damage to the Hilux or us thank goodness, I loved driving around this beautiful area.
Next big trip Tasmania........ Bring it on!

Signed with catnap777 before dawn at 7:05am. Although it will be quite some time before either of us qualify to log either of these two challenge caches, neither of us can resist a challenge. Cool

Leaving our accomodation in Horsham early Friday morning of our loopy loop trip from Tatura to a Community Celebration Event in Mildura, this would seem a little out of the way, but catnap777 and I were chasing caches in different counties and road map pages for challenges, so we were travelling via Bordertown and Renmark to get there. It was then down to Ouyen and home via SwanHill in time for work Sunday arvo. We even tickled the tip of Victoria by finding its Northern most cache along the way which was another highlight for both of us. [^]

TFTChallenge The_Tritonz. All good here with the cache. Now let's see how long it takes us to earn it. Twisted

Found with feathertop and signed today, but on checking my numbers I still have four more earth caches to find before I can log this one, but thanks for placing this good sized container here The_Tritonz, hoping it won’t be too long before I can actually log it

On the way to SA with Cybergran this morning.
Detoured onto the back Dimboola Road to make 2 finds.
Nice big container here.
I am not a huge finder of earthcaches but I have 240 so bring on 250 earthcache find challenge!

Last day of holiday today . We had a big sleep in so peaceful by the lake. We got ourselves all organized and husband headed off back to Naracoorte with the Moho and I off on a roundabout journey all over the countryside back to Adelaide. A 5 hour journey turned into 10 .
Enjoyed the long trip and the extra finds. Noticed when I got home a new AL with locations in places I had just been so will have to head back to the silo trail.
Thanks to all the CO to adding to the game and for all the prompt maintenance.
The detour off the main road was very pleasant. I’m not a huge EC finder so was pleased to see Id qualified for this one. TFTC Tritonz

When we saw this challenge published, we knew that we would qualify and that was confirmed by Project-GC:
2y'stassies fulfils challenge 150 Earthcache Challenge (GC9TMKQ), according to https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9TMKQ/68955
In total, I have 302 finds, qualified for this challenge.

After being in Adelaide we are heading eastwards to cache in Victoria before heading home. So this morning we went to look for this cache. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition.

Thanks The_Tritonz for this challenge and the cache.

Today ended up being a big day! Surprised[|)][^]Razz
Having held a CITO last nightCool[^], I had another CITO on tonightCool[^]
I'd also had brunch at Bill & Beats with a couple of visitors from Adelaide[:X]CoolSmileCoolSmile[:X], then run errands[^], dealt with numerous phone callsSmile[^]Big Grin and finally got to my CITO just a couple of minutes past 4.30pmRed FaceRazzRed FaceSurprisedRed Face
After the CITO I went home and spent ages reloading the GPSrWink[^], more phone callsSmile[^] and mainly just arguing with myselfSurprisedTwistedRazzRazz: do I or don't I[?][?][?][?]

Thanks to a big helping handWink[:X]Cool I eventually summoned up the courage to do something that I used to do easily! An all night caching outing!!Cool[^]SmileCool
So Rex and I left about 8.30pm to head for Dimboola[?]Surprised[?], where 2 new challenge caches were waiting for someone to find themRazzWinkBig GrinWink

Naturally, there was policeRazzBig GrinWinkRazz I pulled into a servo in Horsham to refuel, about 3.30am, and as I was getting out I saw headlights almost behind the Corolla rather than being near their side of the pumps[?]Surprised[?]
The nice young police man had the breatho readyBig GrinWink so I told him to wait while I threw my rubbish into the binSurprisedBig GrinRazzWink Then he wanted my licenceWink, so while he was checking that on his computer I started filling up the Corolla[^], chatting to the nice young police lady at the same timeSmileSmile They both think geocachers are crazy now!!RazzBig GrinRazz

During our 700km all night round trip, I found 6 SmilecachesCool which with the earlier CITO made for 7 Smilecache SmilesmiliesCool
I also did an adv lab at MurtoaCoolSmileCool There was also a virtual on a dredge near Maldon that teased me and called to me for all of the homeward trip!TwistedSurprisedTwisted I had to repeatedly tell myself that I could not go there, as I had an osteopath appointment at 9.30am in SheppartonRazzWinkSad[^]SadWink Which I made on time![^]Cool[^]

All in all, a great night out!CoolBig Grin[^]Cool
