Mr CNQ had been on Bribie all week doing some yard work for elderly parents, and occasionally caching as the weather allowed. We did the adventure the Christmas before last, but only got around to the bonus as he was leaving the island and heading back north. Very quick find, sign and replace, thanks for another cache.

11-Dec-23
This was another Adventure Lab that I completed in late 2022, but didn't get a chance to stop on my return home, given that the bonus cache was so far, however, I do note that 99% of the time, this bonus cache would be a very short detour whilst travelling to/from the island. This was my last cache of the day, and in fading light, we decided to stop to put this cluster of caches to rest. It took a few minutes of us looking around and up, and inevitably, the cache was finally spotted. As we were looking, [MeAndDe](https://coord.info/PR9CNGM) started to scratch her shoulder and then asked me if she had something in her - it was a tick, yikes! In true geocaching style, we prioritised the cache extraction and signing duties, before then returning to the car to remove the tick off her. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [TBU1Bikesu](https://coord.info/PRDWW2K) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today turned out to be quite an epic day of adventures, which was in contrast to my usual Monday work day with thanks to flexible work!It was an early morning start meeting [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) at Mount Samson, and we walked in the scrubland finding a few high tree fishing geocaches. Following that, the technical tree climb [I See Better From a Distance](https://coord.info/GC6BNVZ) was conquered with a small group. It was then a northern drive to scope [Licorice Challenge](https://coord.info/GCA9J9Y), and despite having heard about its sketchy tree climb aka tough Terrain rating, it lived up to its reputation.I then closed out the day with [MeAndDe](https://coord.info/PR9CNGM) to walk the mud flats of Sandstone Point finding a few Little Birds. I had planned to kayak these, but this appeared to be a reasonable alternative. We detoured past Beachmere to complete the [Beachmere - worth a visit!](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/1920324e-f45b-4471-9c63-83e9302f835a) Adventure Lab, and made one last swing past its bonus cache.

We signed the log today while we were here with another geocacher. We'll claim the find after we finish the Ad Lab.

Tftc and the lab.
We needed a variety of cache types for this month's souvenir challenge.
As we had to pass this way, we took the opportunity to collect this as time ran out when we were doing the lab.
Thanks

We completed the Adventure Lab associated with this bonus quite some time ago, but had run out of time to swing by to grab this one. Today, however, we managed to detour here on our way home from a day out caching nearby. With neck craning at GZ, The Marble spotted the cache a let a little further in than where I was looking. we deployed the TOTT for a nice easy retrieval and replacement. Thanks TBU1Bikesu

I finish the al and got the coordinates right and everything but Apple Maps say it’s in a tree and google maps say it’s on in a museum but we searched both for half an hour and found nothing at both since the hint is kinda useless and yeah I just can’t see anything

21/5/2023 Find #6116
Having dashed up here for a spot of cache maintenance this morning, Fangsoki and I decided to grab the Adventure Labs while here, especially as some of them were right where we needed to do the maintenance anyway.
With all the labs sorted we grabbed the bonus on the way back home.
After ducking back to car for the TOTT (yes we admit we didn’t read this at first), we quickly had the cache in hand - a sensible height to stop the muggles but happily not ridiculously high to make retrieval annoying.
I’m sure we will explore more of this area of bush in the near future.
Thanks for the cache and Adventure Labs TBU1Bikesu.

1MinnieMoo and I were on Bribie Island and decided to grab a few Lab caches.

I enjoyed the strut around for this one. We sorted some coords and were soon on our way.

We pulled up to grab this bonus and it was relatively abandoned. It took some searching for 10 minutes or so before 1MinnieMoo spotted the prize. We retrieved the prize and signed the log. The cache was in good condition Smile

I had a lovely walk along the waterfront at Bongaree and gathered the numbers for this bonus. Today we ventured out with our home made TOTT of a tree lopper with a golf ball extractor with both able to extend. Arrived at GZ and the cache was spotted retrieved and log signed and then our bream was back to the spot we found it. Thanks TBU1 Bikesu. All good with this bonus cache .

Out for a playday with teamdfl Big Grin

With 3 ALs done and dusted on Bribie of course we must collect the Bonus caches! A pretty leisurely walk to GZ in the afternoon heat, and a quick find and retrieve. TFTC and AL, TBU1Bikesu.

We did do some walking for tow of these ALs, but on a hot summer day there was much lazy driving. Wink

It took me a long time to spot the cache. I blame it on the sun shining in my eyes. Eventually I did locate it and the extraction was easy after that.

In the area today to grab a few bonus caches for previously completed labs. Once at GZ the cache was soon retrieved, log signed and then returned as found.

Found this one in early Feb with Chamad but it didn't feel right to log it when I had not yet completed the AL. But on the last day of Feb, I woke up super early in that beautiful place and went for a walk (and drive) to all the points to collect what was needed.

Got the AL yesterday decided to go to Caboolture today, so we thought we might as well get this on our return. The sun was at the wrong angle a bit of moving around by me and there it was hiding behind the trunk. Got it down and signed, wasn’t to hard to get back up. Thanks for this one

Update. I SEE IT.

Happy dancing . This is the type of cache that I like. One where improvisation can get you through. Cycling and tree fishing are not compatible but good placements and ability to use on-site tools work for me .

I can confirm that this one seems to be missing. Brislions got in contact with me to check it out, and after a brief search around the area I couldn’t spot anything and I even had a quick search on the ground. Hmmm, I wonder how this one vanished. It was fairly low and easily found when Alyce and I came through.

Thank you for letting us know.

We aren't yet home from our trip to QOGM2022. Will put out a replacement cache after our return.

Cheers Uwe and Susan

2372 - Catching up on some old logs of caches I have found, but haven't logged yet and this is one of them. I completed the AL series on 26th July but I went for a walk along the Passage as the sunset on a lovely warm evening for that time of year., it was well and truly dark when I bypassed the search area on my way back home. I was in the area again to take the geofather out for lunch today for a late Father's Day celebration, so I stopped on the way back to see if I could reach this one. Not having a TOTT in the geomobile, I found a few natural implements lying around, that I fashioned into a tool that could be used. Extracted the log and signed at 2:02pm, I returned it to its spot and continue on my way home. Thanks for the AL series and for this bonus cache TBU1Bikesu.

27-Aug-22
After completing the remaining Adventure Labs in the area we decided to head out today to grab them, and since theirs a new challenge out that requires a tool we thought it would be best to grab them now before the month was over.

After grabbing the Banksia Beach Adventure Lab final this was next on the list, and same as before, we quickly spotted the hide and lowered it back down to earth for signing duties.

Thanks for bringing us here. Alyce and I enjoyed our stroll at Bongaree to complete the Adventure Lab. We come here quiet often with the kiddies and loved coming here for another reason.

We completed the Adventure this morning, and then having after enjoying lunch in Sandstone Point, there was a question of time to be able to collect this cache on the way home…

At least this one was quicker than it’s partner around the corner… a nice quick catch and release… tftc…

We used the local truck stop as cover to get in and out…

I completed the lab while on Bribie attempting to avenge a couple of DNFs. After a few other caches, I made a quick find and retrieval here. Thanks for the cache

One we couldn't get the other day, but signed once we had the required equipment.

Our last day in Caboolture today. Had a few other things to do as well so satisfied ourselves with an Ad Lab and a dew traditionals on the way.
Set ourselves up with a tree fishing pole as there were a few Ad Lab bonuses that required this. Hadn't been able to do them when we did the actual Labs.
A lovely day!

Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache TBU1Bikesu.

After completing the Adventure Lab located on Bribie Island we had gathered the required digits to attempt this bonus cache. We were aware that a TOTT was required, so we cobbled together light-weight aluminium tent posts to enable us to access the cache.
Added our name to the log sheet and returned the container.
We could definitely appreciate just how muddy the path in could be when wet.
Thanks for this bonus cache and the challenging hide.

Out for a day of caching with krcamber in the drizzle. It was a great day and the drizzle didn’t deter us at all. It was just enough to keep a few extra people at home so the roads were good.

After lunch at the pub, we completed the adventure and started our journey home - past a few other caches of course!

After parking the car we started on our slippery way to GZ. We stayed on our feet somehow and soon krcamber spotted the cache. The Pro-Angler retrieved the log and signed our names.

Thanks for the adventure and bonus cache, TBU1Bikesu

Out this way for a day of caching madness with Swearah. A drizzly day but nothing was stopping us today. After completing the AL, we had the numbers for this one and it was our last find for the day on the way home. Parked pretty close and headed down the muddy road. We’d managed to keep pretty clean on this rainy day until now! Got to GZ and used Swearah’s TOTT for a quick retrieve! Back via the grass to get the mud off our shoes. Thanks for the adventure lab and thanks for the cache!

On my way from Canberra to North Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
Saw the AL and the codes but couldn't find the bonus cache. Finally found on PC. My first ever tree fishing. Great.

I got up early this morning in attempt to get and do the adventure lab and the bonus for my personal challenge I am doing. It seems there is also a cache on Bribie I have not collected but do have the finals for. Perfect as this will give me my numbers for the day.
With the lab done and the multi cache also done it was time to head back and grab this bonus. As I was driving back I passed a few caches that I have been to in the area and said to myself there’s a cache there, there’s a cache there, lol.

I arrived at gz and started my little walk in and soon spied the cache. It was up just enough to require a tool, either tool will do I guess, lol.
I brought to a level that I could sign and then replaced as found. Thanks for the lab and the bonus cache, but it off to work now.

After completing the AL on Bribie we had the coords for this one. Parked up next to another car which turned out to be janetwil's, joined forces and the cache was soon retrieved. TFTC TBU1Bikesu Smile

After completing the AL with the chilly breeze along the front we had gathered the numbers for this one. At GZ with the help of DickBev and their TOTT we now have our signature on the log. Thanks TBU1Bikesu for the AL and the cache.

Just started using Cachly and noticed the really cool function that highlights FTF caches. Just so happened to be in Caboolture today and noticed this prize unfound and couldn’t resist as a FTF has alluded me to date.

Not any more.

Very happy to have logged my first FTF.

Thanks to the CO
