"Pull in where you see the Kurrajong," said Noikmeister. But alas I had no idea what that actually was! Good to learn something today. Much more amusing was a dead red-belly-black snake quite near GZ. It was just staying put and had some flies buzzing but appeared to be only recently expired. After a few tentative pokes with a stick we could confirm it had definitely departed. Now over to the distillery for a brew.
Found at 1:32:00 PM with BatGirlTook a while to spot said tree. Found a dead black snake too, which made me start! Thanks Tankengine
We popped down to the local distillery for a bite to eat and to try out some of the local produce. As we were feeling a little wobbly, we decided to explore the local environment and wandered down to collect this cache. It was a nice and quick find, and we signed the nice and fresh new log. TFTC and the reason to stretch our legs.
Found whilst attending the nearby 125th anniversary event of the Wee Jasper school. TFTC
Find # 1260117/8/2024 Out and about in IGD with Joolay, KittyKatch, Tankengine, barb2e, and Smittengranny on a warming winter day. All caches found, and logged. Thanks Tankengine for Krazy Kurrajong
After a breakfast event to start IGD, a group of us set out to clear out an area to the north west of Canberra. We didn't quite succeed but almost did, and we were all very happy with our achievements. Our group consisted of barb2e, Kittykatch, Joolay, Tankengine and contesta. Firstly many thanks to them for a fabulous day out and then to all COs for making today possible. Especially TE who owned so many of these caches and was doing maintenance. All caches found were signed and returned to their hiding place.
Lovely day to be out and about. Decided a trip to Wee Jasper was a good idea to celebrate International Geocaching Day with Kittykatch, contesta, Tankengine, Smittengranny and barb2e. Thanks for getting me out and about Tankengine
Found with Smittengranny, Kittykatch, Joolay, Contesta and TE. Drizzly rain to start the day. Tftc
Wee JasperInternational Geocaching Day 2025I took a road trip to Wee Jasper to find a bunch of caches with contesta, Joolay, Tankengine, Smittengranny and barb2e. A quick pick up here and use of the facilities. Thanks for the hide Tankengine

With a late decision to head out for a drive with allrounder, we headed down towards Wee Jasper. What a cool spot, great view and so interesting to see nature finding a way to let this little tree grow. TFTC
Found @ 4:37pm with hccatcher11415You always find the coolest spots! A favourite for me.Thanks again Tankengine
A lucky quick find for today! Such a cute town to visit today for a road trip. Pretty sure we were spotted by some other geocachers who took off once they spotted us I promise we dont bite! Thanks for the cache!
I looked for this crazy tree but didn't spot it. Maybe it's decided it needs a better root base.
Cache all good. Thanks for the fun

Out with dty73 and Tankengine to do a little cache maintenance, find some unfound ones and place a few as well. We have stopped in here before and while looking at this boulder and the Krazy tree had a local stop to chat. A wealth of local knowledge and an interesting guy. We stopped a second time and placed this cache, it's well overdue but logging now. Thanks for the cache Tankengine!
#8701 ANZAC Day 2023 and it's a beautiful day, too good to stay at home. We were prevaricating between Wee Jasper and Big Hole Marble Arch and Wee Jasper won out.
I haven't been out this way for some time but I've always loved the landforms here. We had hoped to get into Carey's Cave but some large groups had filled out the available slots. But we largely found what we aimed for.
What a strange place to grow!
Thanks Tankengine for the Traditional Cache

[FTF] I remember when the coffee shop and petrol station were operating. Sad to see it all closed down. Still a beautiful spot. TFTC

With just half a day to spare I was unexpectedly and gratefully picked up and returned to the front door in time to pick up the grandkids from school .
Fortunately it had stopped raining heavily, but there was a light drizzle ? , as we reached this location for our first cache of the day. With the long grass all the way to GZ being very wet it was great to have a quick find and straight back to our cars to dry off.
With a clean cache log, front and back, we assume that the previous finder may have accidentally logged this one as a find. A very unexpected surprise. TFTC Tankengine.

We always enjoy our trip to Wee Jasper. We checked this tree out a few times now. Pretty resilient thing it is.
The public bathrooms near by areā¦ interesting and the Gin Distillery looks great, but I fortunately the food variety is lacking.
But this is a nice spot to stop for a cache. Tftc Tankengine!!!
