Another blank day on my calender to fill so while I was out this way, thought I'd grab this cache.Well disguised.Tftc
Found it between breaks in the rain. It was lying out - have returned it to what we guess is the right place. Thank you! Snaffled the TB too
This is a great reserve and a new one to us, so that always adds to the fun. Cache is all good - earns a fave from us and there was even room for us to add a photocopied trackable for the next person to find. TFTC
Visiting from Hawkes bay. A short walk here from where we parked up. Stood back looking until we spotted something.... bingo the cache. A clever one which was fun to find. Now to the next Thank you ZiggyZiggyStar for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5102
We shot into BayFair Mall for a quick bit of shopping..yeah not going to do that again in a hurry lol then decided to hit 3 around the park. Very cleverly hid. Nice came. TFTC.
Nice. Thanks for bringing me here. I spent a long time watching a flock?/ murder?/congregation? of swifts winging all around the grass
I spy.. no hint had us going back to our roots of where would I place a cache in this area? Took a step back and a closer look had us with the cache in hand, TFTC!
I always feel a bit uneasy when it comes to caches near the back of properties, so thankfully I spotted this cache reasonably quickly. Replaced and ran away. Park was reasonably quiet except for the 1 interesting character doing some sort of interpretive yoga to the setting sun.
The other team members were still up North, so I earmarked Saturday for a caching day. Tried to focus on solved puzzles, and was hoping to knock off a couple of wherigos but ran out of time. The rain was threatening again by this point, but I managed to just sneak in before it poured down. This one was a quicker find than the last two, but still a great concealment. Thanks so much for these great caches - definitely makes that premium membership worth it!
Decided to give this a go with my brother who is new to geocaching, very fun, we over looked it a few times but was very cool tftc!
Spending a few weeks working in Whakatane. Had the weekend free so headed off for some caching. Always good to find new parks that ones never visited particularly when full of awesome caches. Took a while to spot this and never seen one quite like it. A favourite point from us. Thanks ZiggyZiggyStar for the smiley.
***** DOT DAY #365 ***** Rather a momentous occasion for us ~ and it's only taken 5,039 days ~ or 13 years, 9 months and 18 days.
Thanks for the cache, we had a lovely walk through the park this morning - and thought it lucky that the grass had been so recently mowed. A gorgeous autumn day, perfect for geocaching. Thanks again for the placement, much appreciated.

It was great to meet the CO at a nearby event this morning, just catching up on my logs from yesterday, and this was a really great hide. Overlooked it at first, but then something caught my attention, very cool have a FP, cheers
We finally found the time today to find this one. Luckily no one around. Got to GZ, had barely started my search and Kimbathelion already had the sneaky hide in hand. Worth a favourite. Tftc
Had read previous logs so was a little worried but it didn't take long & cache was in hand. Fav point for a clever cache. Tftc
After a few weeks of minimal caching due to weather and waiting for next souvenir months. Today was the day to head out in the sunshine. Nice hide thanks. Another fp. This was just lying on the ground so have put it where I think it should go.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

After a nice sunny day we decided it was time to go find some new geocaches. We’ve been in this park before looking for caches so glad there’s some new ones put out. This cache we found difficult and the lack of hiding places made it even more difficult. After searching for about seven minutes we swapped searchers. Then the man who owns the house right next to the cash came out and asked us if we needed any help. Turns out he spotted Tryfyn the day before and let us know how to find the cache. Wow hiding in plain sight that was tricky. Thanks for the cache.
Squelch, squelch, squelch through the swamp. GZ was a little close to habitation for my taste but closed curtains and an angled approach avoided any muggling. Momentarily distracted by another possibility but I quickly honed in on the cleverly constructed hide. I reckon this little reserve could fit a #3 or #4 and I look forward to the next offerings. TFTC & FP.
New park for me too and big enough so that the few muggles around didn’t cause me any problems But wet underfoot and had to go around a drain This is a great area especially for kids Loved the cache as well. Good coords, good spot and excellent cache What else did we need TFTC
I’d planned on doing some urgent chores today, but my Mum had other ideas. She asked me to take her down to the Saturday market and then had no intentions of staying at home. We picked up the kids and headed for Tauranga…
Goodness! This park is a lot bigger than we thought. The ground was waterlogged in places, so we chose to come to this hide first. After a quick poke around, we spotted the cache. But it was quite tricky to extract. We managed to manoeuvre things and the cache dropped. A good hide - Thanks ZiggyZiggyStar and TFTC.

Having done Duo 2 first i had an inkling of what to expect & spotted what i thought was it quickly but the extraction was giving me some grief when the immediate houseowner spotted me & suggested he could help.Although not a cacher he knew all about it so i felt pretty comfortable.Between us the job was completed & replaced.Thankyou ZiggyZiggyStar, another awesome cache & a fav from me.
We hadn't been to this park before, so it was a good opportunity to bring the kids with the promise of caches and a playground. The kids were the ones who found the cache's hiding place, but they needed a helping hand from Mr Taylana to extract the offending hardware. Well constructed and creative! TFTC!

Very pleased with our FTF on the previous new cache from this cache owner, we eagerly carried on to this reserve. Well after dark now and wary of standing in a muddy mush of grass, we gingerly made our way to GZ. It did not take us long to locate what was out of place and then with the aid of the cache holder, the cache was soon in hand. Well and truly beaten to this one with a flurry of names already covering the log sheet. Nice to see the locals are still able to get up and about.
Yet another very nicely constructed and cleverly positioned cache hide. Well worth another favourite point. TFTC

We had been confined to barracks this morning with a few chorus to do along with the inclement weather but then the sun came out so we decided to get some fresh and what better way than a walk in the park…I was great fully assisted by a couple of grandies….we hit the trail and GZ loomed plenty of places for a hide here after a short search I was hooked …wow the grandies said ..they were impressed but alas a tad to slow for a FTF many thanks Ziggyziggystar awesome effort an all round great cache and an easy fav from me
It is really good to see some more well constructed caches in the area. It definitely takes geocaching to another level. The two boys were well into the search and both had some good ideas on the hide, but no not that!! I felt slightly exposed but no movement at the house and no one else in the park. It was macwatt who spotted the slight anomaly. Another excellent cache and a fav again. Thanks for the placement ZiggyZiggyStar
