Logs
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some more previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some of the newly placed Adventure Labs and SideTracked caches, and accumulate some "units of fuel" for the new "Cosmic Quest" souvenir challenge. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today (day 1) we travelled out to Vineyard, going via the M2 & M7 Motorways from Delhi Road North Ryde to the Sunnyholt Road exit, then through Acacia Gardens, Parklea, Quakers Hill, Schofields and Riverstone to reach our accommodation. Collected numerous Traditional caches, a couple of SideTracked caches, a previously solved Mystery/Puzzle cache, and a five stage Adventure Lab with AL Bonus cache that we passed along the route. This was the 4th of 18 finds for the day (day 1), and 4th find of the holiday. This one was next, parking the geomobile in Verna Place, and then heading down and around to the cache location for a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC 93RyanBoom1.Find #6912
Saw container directly, hid it a bit better after having signed the log.Noticed the cache is flagged as 'Need maintenance '.
hint threw us off for a second but after a little more digging found it! tftc
Quick and easy find, thank you very much for placing this cache, which makes us play
Just out on my bike catching up on a few local caches around my area that hadn't done yet. Thanks for maintaining the cache.
We had read the logs for this cache and decided, together with ilook4geo, to go prepared with a replacement container and log. It is now an unbreakable plastic jar hidden in the remains of the hint item under some camo. Hope this is all OK with the CO. The broken remains of the original jar were removed for safety's sake. Log was stamped with both names and all was hidden as best it could be. TFTC.
Came along here on a mission with goingplaces2. Knowing the container had been broken we brought along a replacement. Signed the log in the new container, put it where it looked like it had been and covered with local camo. TFTC.
Found it with sevabo but the glass jar is broken see here. You will need to get replaced a new cache container.
Unfortunately skyejam and I found the broke jar and skyejam reported it to the owner. Hope they will replace it soon. Thanks for leading us here
Heading to Penrith to visit friends this afternoon and taking a toll-free route because I'm not in a hurry and so that I can get my caching fix.
A straightforward find here but the CO think about changing the container to something more suitable ... glass jars are nit allowed for safety reasons.
Thanks for the smiley.

OCW Sensible Shoes and Shoes Junior. 2nd find for the day, signed as 'the shoes x3' TFTC
The second find on our walk with Shoes Junior and Little Shoes. Signed as The Shoes x3, TFTC.
Tftc. Short walk to GZ for a quick find, as it was laying on the ground in the open. We hid it back where the hint suggested.
A relatively quick find thanks to good coordinates and a decent hint. Retrieved some TBs to move on. Thanks 93RyanBoom1.
There used to be a cache here about 12 years ago. Nice to see the area is more tidy than the last time I was here. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

#6764- An instant find with thomo31 in a quiet spot. The birds and the rabbit were the only movement. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. A short walk followed by a quick find. Signed log and returned as found. Masked Lapwings were around watching us! TFTC
This was my second stop for the afternoon.
It looks like this area has been underwater recently and looking at google satellite view it shows Second Pond very close so I'm not surprised.
The cache is definitely above the water line, BUT....
a glass container is not a very good idea when debris can come by in a storn or local flood. Glass can break easily if something hits it.
You wouldn't want a child or in fact any geocacher cutting themselves while trying to find your cache would you 93RyanBoom1?
I recommend changing the Toy Jar to a plastic one for safety.
Eat some chocolates that come in this size plastic jar and use that!

Parked the bike a little way back up near the path and wandered down to GZ for a relatively quick find. SL and replaced with as much natural camo as I could find. TFTC 93RyanBoom1!
Find Number 6369
A nice quick find after the close by FTF.
Thanks 93RyanBoom1 for placing the cache

I am gradually catching up with my logging - am currently only a month and a bit behind. But that's still over 100 caches!
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.
Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Headed up Parklea was or a few quick finds today. Went for a snappy three and got them all. And was still in time to get home and join the Geowife for the weekly shopping!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Any cache specific comments will be added here.
If none, then it was a good cache and easily found.
Signed, replaced and away.

Quick find on my back to my cell.
Thanks for the local hide.
I used to have a very difficult cache hide 9m from this one...
**GC3FTAM - Prison Break**. 23 Finds, 24 DNF's.
Took TB.

Dropped by as I was travelling in between jobs from Blacktown to Rouse Hill.
Found the usually geocacher type of bush hide, enjoyed the short stroll from the van.
Dropped off a trackable that was thrown into my lap at a CCC event last night, sort of forced to move it along, lol.
Hmmm, unsure about using a glass container though, inlieu of a sistema or something similar.
Might pay to change over to a suitable container, although I’m please to see a new cache hider, nice work.

Haven’t done much caching over the years but when mizmaz is visiting and gets excited at a new notification that’s just around the corner, I reactivated my account (edited name as forgot original login ) and joined her to share the [FTF].
