A short drive from a nearby cache find and got a wave from the garbage truck driver .. must have been the one I let pass earlier. This GZ was in a lovely park. The cache was a reasonable size, quickly sighted and easily accessed. Thank you to sraeBehT for placing the cache. Hopefully I will be back to collect the remaining caches in the series before too long.

Were going to do some caching in the area tomorrow before the event not far away, but don't trust the Melbourne weather, so here we are just in case. This log was incredibly wet and mouldy. Thanks for placing these caches for us to find.

23-Dec-23
Such a beautiful sunny scooter day for a ride with Geoturtle37. Our GPSrs were pointing to the grass in the middle of four trees, so we explored each. One had a magpie sitting there at eye height, so we left that one alone. GT spotted the cache in the one tree Id already looked at, but from a different angle. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, sraeBehT ~~

We found this cache today on our Cranbourne North Caching Morning. We had to pick up the final two caches before heading off so we drove and parked nearby. This was currently our 205th closest unfound cache to home. We had also found the cache "C.F. 33 - Alien Landing" about 58m from this spot back in 2015. Thanks from D B-A

Find #13783

It was looking like a promising day, so plans were made and along with beckNmonts and Manfred Wolfgang, we headed towards the Cranbourne area for a bit of a numbers run so we could gain some souvenir points. Today we used either the joint stamp or wrote in micros "AH BM MW"

Massive thanks go to sraeBehT for placing this one.

This is a nice tree in a good park. As I was signing the logbook, my thought drifted to how I may look to others. Just some old dude hanging out in a tree in a park with his phone out. Nothing sus here!

Thankfully the park was empty today!

A walk in the warm afternoon and all the caches are in good condition and once the pattern was established, easy enough to find.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

*Found on the 13 Dec 2022 @ 5:47 pm.*
*Cache find # 13780.*

I had a look for this one yesterday but as I was working from an offline list, I still had the old coordinates and naturally there was no cache there to be found.
After seeing that the coordinates had been updated, I returned today for another look and this time I didn't have any trouble at all.
It does help when you look in the right spot.

**Thanks to sraeBehT for placing this cache.**

With the publishing of this series seemingly stopped I thought it would be a good time to deploy the scooter and go and have a look for these today. I had a lovely ride around and managed to find all of them without too much trouble.
Surprisingly dry all the logs in these containers except for one which looked like the lid was not put on properly. Other than that a fun time was had and it was very quiet everywhere except for maybe 2 dog walking muggles on the whole trip around the area.
I remember a few of these parks from back at the Cranbourne Mega when a series of trads was also published in this area and I managed a few FTF's on them along with some other teams at the time.
Thanks sraeBehT for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Coordinates changed from:
S 38° 4.603 E 145° 16.701

Coordinates changed to:
S 38° 4.593 E 145° 16.713

Distance from original: 83.8 feet or 25.5 meters.

Old cache was destroyed and left in the middle of the park so moved slightly onto the higher side of the park to be more hidden and on less swampy ground.

buhfuhguh and I were out an a caching adventure today, mainly targeting the new series in Cranbourne North before heading even further north to pick up a few extra caches we fancied.
We took advantage of the lovely weather today with the sun shining overhead, though recent rain had formed some intermittent puddles which were still thriving in the shade, and our shoes became a little muddy consequently!

Having seen this series get published in my emails, I quickly recognised whose territory it was in and backed off accordingly - sure enough, a familiar name comprised a consistent masthead that today's logbooks adorned.
We quickly became accustomed to a standard container type at each gz which seemed to be holding up fine, save for the odd slightly damp logbook (though all were able to receive our names).

We finished this series at the start today.
buhfuhguh had already visited previously, so it was my turn to make a quick retrieval aided by today's lucky run of no playground users.
The coordinates were bang on which helped out immensely - the logbook was signed and the trackable within taken out.

Thanks to sraeBehT for placing this series of caches! Smile

Note to self (and any other finders...) don't wear slip on shoes after its been raining a lot! this park gets VERY squishy underfoot and of course we tried to approach it from the right hand side which meant when we realised which tree we were supposed to be looking for there was an ankle deep long puddle right between us and the cache! So my friend jumped over, found the cache and threw it over my side so I could stamp my name and add a few more swaps to the container then I threw in back over so she could put it back! I decided to take one of the TBs to travel with me for a bit then we moved on to the next cache, on a mission to reach 800 today and this was #795! TFTC!!

After finishing work nearby today I decided that it was about time for me to go out and collect one of the caches from this new little Cranbourne series. Parking nearby I was able to quickly run over and find the cache with no issues at all. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

**Find #4830**
**Traditional Find #3021**

I hadn't found a cache since last June and the weather was too good to waste. I had to come up this way to do some maintenance so on my way home I called in to attempt this cache. A short walk from where I parked my car brought me to a likely hiding place. One muggle was on a seat further into the park but I managed to avoid his gaze. I found this cache quite quickly which was nice.

**Thank-you to sraeBehT for placing this geocache**

Found by Rebel Acts in the company of Omegaman1971.

I had an appointment in Cranbourne so I had a few hours spare in between that and attending the side tracked event in Bun yip for a fantastic pub meal, So plans were made to catch up with My caching Buddy and do a few caches in the area.

This is one of the caches found today. A nice quick find in a nice little park.

Thanks sraeBehT for the cache.

Ftf at 6.15pm. Log to follow

20-Jul-22
{FTF} at 6.15pm. Sitting at work I saw I had a email that a new cache was published in cranbourne. Looked where it was and it was on my way home. I knew I had to find it. After I finished at 6pm I checked the log and no entries. Off I headed in traffic knowing there would be others keen to get the FTF. Arrived at the park and headed off with my phone light looking for it. Park was very wet and squishy. Found it in it hidey hole. Logged it and was back on the road heading home. I know this park well. Grow up around the corner. Thanks for the placement. Taken the trackable and will be moving him on to Gold Coast next month. TFTC.
