I have brought two people over from Blenheim for dialysis treatment and have some time on my hands until we go back. This geocache looked just the ticket. It took a good while to find as I checked all the likely trees where it wasn't. Co-ords were spot on so don't know why I thought I had a better idea. Once found I discovered that the real work had just begun. The time on my hands was limited however I found the solution , replaced and departed all in good time. Definitely worthy of a favourite, tftc.
Second time back here, the rain was coming in and my little helper was on the ball. Great cache, safe as houses. TFTC
After lunch at the Nelson market we needed to stretch our legs and this cache caught our eye. It felt like we were going on a bear hunt as we made our way towards gz through the river and over the long wavy grass. Once at gz we soon spotted what we had come for. It wasnt long before we realized what was required here to extract the cache. While doing so, we disturbed an ant nest as well as a family of cockroaches who decided this cache would make a good home. Thanks for a well constructed and fun cache. Well deserving of a favorite point
I located this a few weeks ago. When I went back to sign this log I almost walked away as the container had somehow perfectly merged into the background.Tftc #831
Good find this afternoon after a late lunch. Nice walk out to an area we have passed many times.

It IS a safe house, beautifully made. Great camo and a challenge for me who has mostly found by eyes down. TFTAwesomeC.
We walked on the wrong side of the stream so had to take a detour. Cache container was soon found and we had fun trying to retrieve the cache, great concept. Thanks for the cache.
Somewhat scared by the logs about having a hard time reaching this one, we left this one waiting so far. But today I was picking up some solved puzzles near here and could not resist giving this one a try. Actually, it's not all that bad. Just same wading through the high grass, but no wet feed, no mud, pretty easy going. At GZ I was surprised to find such a nice work of craft. Not hard, but fun. Thanks for the effort of placing a cool cache at this interesting spot, tftc & favo!
I've heard this was a cache well worth finding but havent had an opportunity. Today I needed a few so hear I am. The tide was out so took the shortest route possible and got my work sandals and legs covered in mud but had fun just getting to GZ. I wasnt disappointed when I found it although it took a few minutes to get the log out meanwhile I was getting covered in ants that have made the cache their home. Well worthy of a favourite, thanks nzhunter

Thought about doing this one a few weeks ago but we had a 3 year old in tow so it didn't seem the right place to bring him. Stopped by today and wandered out towards GZ. Took the wrong way as it was bang on high tide so had to retrace our steps and choose another path. Got to gz and made short work of extracting the cache. Log signed and cache replaced as instructed. tftc

Tide was good for a team morning walk to this cache. We were expecting something out of the ordinary so keen to go as a team. Actually, either one of us would have been able to access the log as we have found many kiwi-nomad caches, but both enjoyed the safe house and the experience of collecting the advertised bison. We had a pen so no problem to sign the log and return the container as requested.
Thanks. We up the favourite points by one.

I popped out to find a few caches this morning. A glorious spring day today, still cool but the sun is shining so can't complain. I wouldn't want to spoilt anything for anyone but some caches deserve more than 1 favourite point... Thanks for the fun and TFTC, Biggles.
Nice walk to cache. Didn't take too long how to get the cache. Well worth a fav point
With the number of FP’s awarded, our family made it our mission to find this one. It didn’t disappoint. It even impressed Mr Findme2win (aka tradesperson & cache craft-maker himself) which is really saying something. You can feel very proud of yourselves. We grant you another FP. TFTC
nzhunter, what a great cache, definitely favourite from me, a nice after walk wander with SJT_NZ. Beautiful craftsmanship, once located quickly sorted out was was needed and really enjoying tackling a few caches from some new cachers across the district.
Found with Tregearp after work. What an outstanding cache - a thoroughly appropriate and well-appointed tribute. All in good order - and have a FP for the superb craftsmanship and effort. Thanks for the cache.
I actually thought this was in the same place as an old kiwi-nomad cache so came past to see if it was accessible this afternoon. Found that my assumption was wrong and that pleased to see I could easily get to it. Followed a trail practically right to the cache. I knew it was going to be a goodie as soon as I saw it. Don't sell yourselves short - it definitely right up there with the masterpieces of the master himself! Did it twice - partly so I could enjoy it again and partly so I could leave it in a way the next finders have the full experience. Excellent cache nzhunter(s). TFTC # 18,584
Out chasing a Mystery and a Multi this morning so while at Neale Park making a hash of a “simple” Multi I walked over to make this find. Kiwi Nomad would be very proud of this creation if he’d created it. Absolutely brilliant. Worth more than one FP. Interestingly this location is quite close to one of my very first Kiwi Nomad cache finds - Bullseye.

I wish I looked at the satellite map before I came so I would have known which side of the river the cx is located. But the tide was out, so I didn't have too much of a detour.
Very nice cx container and field puzzle. I wasn't sure how to get the log until I tried some things. TFTC.

What a great puzzle cache nzhunter and certainly worthy of being up there with kiwi nomad and gets a Favourite from me.
Thought I would take a walk in between showers to see this one. it's definitely got the k-n feel about it. Very cool cache. Tftc
FTF First to find with Holymu. After having been in town for some urgent caching business (GC9XCEQ) I casually scrolled through my inbox while heading home (as a passenger) and spotted a notification of interest.
Hardly a detour required for something that the CO described as a kiwi-nomad inspired cache. How can you resist.
We had no trouble with parking yet the final approach was interesting. I blame the weather for a slowish uptake of the coords by the phones for that. And leaving the Garmin in the car of course [B)] When we approached GZ from the right angle the cache was found. First impression was to relax, observe and make a plan. After some trial and error the log was in our hands to sign. This cache met our expectations and was given just one fav because we can't give more. Thank you nzhunter

FTF with Hazedarus.
We had an early trip to town this morning and were just returning to the car when this cache was published.
Since we were passing very close by we decided to stop and look for this. Had we noted the D/T before we parked we might not have but nothing ventured, nothing gained. After a short walk we discovered this cleverly constructed cache, certainly reminiscent of some of kiwi-nomad's efforts so I stood by while Hazedarus worked his way to the log which was then signed H+H.
Thank you nzhunter.
