I'm not sure how I missed this one the last time I was in the area but never mind. Quick find. All in good condition. Left a pathtag. Thanks for placing
We had a look at the Stupa this arvo and then did these few to top it off. Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for this series of caches. Come and visit outside in Melbourne one day!
I've been meaning to do this series for ages, especially since collecting the "Peace, Night & Day Geocoin". Although relatively close to home, the right circumstances never presented themselves........So today, this series was my objective. Sadly not enough time to visit The Great Stupa but I'll come back another day when I have fewer commitments to juggle.Sadly the buddha is missing. Many thanks
Over the weekend, we went on a Cache Crawl from Sunbury to Echuca, and then to Seymour. The cache was in great condition when we found it.Thank you for placing the cache LittleBoss2.
Found during the Great Victoria Cache Crawl event (day 2). LittleBoss2, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
On the Cache Crawl weekend we were very lucky to be able to pick up some caches inbetween events despite the crappy wet weather. The last of the 3 here and we got hit with a blast of rain. Luckily we were putting the cache back away. Thanks LittleBoss2 for the placement.
Peaceful spot for a quick find. Nice to continue the theme. Thanks for the fun and very accurate co-ords.Now onto The Great Victorian Cache Crawl lunch event
Found by The Empire + HOur exploration took us to the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion, a striking and serene destination located just outside Bendigo. This awe-inspiring monument, dedicated to the practice of Buddhism, promised a blend of spiritual enrichment and architectural splendor. We grabbed these caches on the way to the virtual! Thanks for the cache LittleBoss2.-M
Weve been meaning to get out the the muggle learner & do a bit of driving practice for a while now, so today seemed like a good day to make it happenwhat better excuse than to do a spot of caching along the way. We spent a few hours tripping around the local area, using roads I or both the muggle & I are familiar with to build his skills & confidence; & kept MuggleJnr entertained along the way with the frequent stops. Thanks for placing this cache & helping me to multi-task the differing priorities of 2 bored teenagers!
Another fun find with deanside and nanna of all people. Wow. Thanks LittleBoss2 and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! | | I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I
In the company of TeamAstro and with mum in tow, we cleaned these few caches near the Stupa. Thanks LittleBoss2 for showcasing this area and contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
Nice easy find on a day off to Bendigo to get some jobs done. Got to educate a farmer who was driving past, he said he only learned about geocaching yesterday and now had it confirmed by me that it is real and I gave him the run down. TFTC
A nice quick driveby. TFTC, no time to visit the Stupa today, but I do enjoy visiting
On the way to visit the Big Stupa with the CO and Bogonghazy and of course just had to be enlightened on the finding of this nice series enjoying the little Buddhas with such meaningful sayings in each cache. Disturbed the cache keeper and set him free. Thanks LittleBoss2 for placing and maintaining this cache.
After finishing in Puckapunyal, it was time to start heading towards the Loddon LGA via Bendigo. Neither of these LGAs we have cached in before. We are slowly working on the 12 and 20 geocaches in each LGA challenge, and we thought we would try to at least take a huge dint out of these challenges in these Local Government Areas. Reading about the The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion and the Jade Buddha, we added it to our must do list. It certainly didn't disappoint and has been one of the highlights of this trip. Thanks for the cache, Little Boss 2.Hunter
Joined by wozzle68 for a quick trip to Bendigo for a couple of events and some caching of course, and having just spent a wonderful hour or so at the Great Stupa, we found these Road to Enlightenment caches on the way out. TFTC LittleBoss2
A nice simple find with chooknchunk on our way through to Bendigo. Thanks for the hide
Found with Grubbs1337, Snowy27 and ITWimdy. ??A great day out with Dad and his mates. Thanks for the cache ??
Well it is that time again for Posums and GemmaSistema to catch up for another fun filled day of caching, laughs, to much walking and to also lets see on where the Geowagon can get us into where maybe it shouldnt go.We met up in Castlemaine and then I became the driver and Gemma the navigator to what we were going to find today. And today was another tour of Bendigo which is a place I really enjoy coming up to.In total 40 caches were found today in a very wide area of Bendigo and the suburbs and a few different types as well.Time to hit the backroads and with the recent rain we would just see how we would go on getting along.I read the cache tittle but not the page so really didnt take much notice on where we were heading but it was in the back of my mind about the cache title.I did notice the small characters in the cache when I found it though. Thanks LittleBoss2 TFTC.
Found with Posums on a Bendigo caching run. Quick find here. Thanks for the fun and adventure
Out and about with omegaman and ski pair around the Bendigo and Echuca area, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today.Logs signed as RASPOMThanks LittleBoss2 for the cache.
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache LittleBoss2.**SKI Pair****
I'm hitting the road again with my Rebel Acts and Ski Pair to have some fun and explore new places. While I don't mind caching locally, there is nothing like a road trip for a few days putting smiles on the map. I had a great time with lots of laughter and caching fun. Today's logs are signed as RASPOM.
After a wonderful morning at the Stupa we headed out for some caching fun. TFTC
Find#6377Nice hiding place What a epic road trip exploring Australia Thanks for the cache
First cache for 2024.Yay. Nice hide. I love the caches that are away from muggles. Thankyou and Happy new year.
LeeLee was on a little solo road trip today with the goal of visiting The Great Stupa in Bendigo. Of course there were a few geo detours This one was a little wet inside too but log book was all fine. Left some swaps. Thanks LittleBoss2 enjoy the bush roads collecting caches.

We are filling in a bit of time while our caravan is having some work done at Epsom. We really are not familiar with the layout of Bendigo as we are not from here, so we basically threw a dart at the map and here we are.
Your co-ords are spot on, the best that we have en-counted in a long time well done.

It had been a busy day yesterday and as time got away from us Ghihash and I finally made it to a cache for the day.
The cache had been left out in the open so we returned to where we could see it had been hidden before

Found with k9team 1.5 hours before I lost my streak. Spent the day cleaning the house and almost forgot to go out and get my cache for today. Today's cache makes day 55 of my current streak.
Cache was sitting in the open place back in its the likely place. Tftc

A weekend in Bendigo and surrounds and we decided on another visit to The Stupa this morning. Delighted to find three caches to collect on our way there. Plenty of birds to listen to this morning. SL at 9.40am Left: gold eagle pathtag and colourful hen. #10005 TFTC LittleBoss2 - nice to find some of your caches whilst in Bendigo. All is well here, cache and contents dry and clean.
Back in Bendigo for another round of Statewide Stampede (Roller Derby).
Was essential, this time, to come out to view and visit the Great Stupa, as last time we didn't manage to make it here. With one of my teammates being a geocacher as well, we couldn't resist the chance to pick up this series of caches nearby.
I think finding at least 1 cache needs to become part of our Roller Derby trips from here on in
Another quick park and grab. There was a bit of water in the cache, which we tipped out.
Have loved the cute little surprise in each cache in this series

Yes !! Show me the road to enlightenment
Ok !! I'll settle for some caching enlightenment
At least this time the roadside doesn't resemble a canal,
so with dry feet and a bit of poking ...
... a cache came to light

Find #2956 for me. Found at 11:49 am with my dog Bonnie while taking a day of annual leave to find some local geocaches. This was a quick find for me this morning as rain threatened but never eventuated. All was in good condition. Thanks for highlighting the Great Stupa with this cache placement LittleBoss2, as well as the valuable listening advice! And thanks for the cache!
Looking at some activities to do today with the little bunnies we came across The Great Stupa and thought it would be an eye-opening experience. A quick find here with the summer sounds and fresh smell of countryside. TFTC
A visit to the grand Stupa has been on the agenda for some time - just needed to get to Bendigo! A timely reminder at the end of 2022 that the venerable Buddhas’ have much to say on the wisdom of kindness and compassion. After a pilgrimage for my dear mum too elderly to travel I found the ‘Road to Enlightenment’ caches nicely placed. TFTC
"Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story
of that man skilled in all ways of contending,
the wanderer, harried for years on end".
dalerious and I found ourselves in Bendigo today servicing our vehicle, so ofcourse, we also fitted in some caching.
Our road to enlightenment started with a Romax traditional which set the day off splendidly.
We also called into the splendid grounds of The Great Stupa, and beheld it's magnificence whilst signing the logs of these three trads.
I left travelbugs in two of the three, so they can continue their journey from Tasmania .
Thank you LittleBoss2. Your caches were found in good condition .

I have been wanting to show my partner catnap777 around The Great Stupa for ages now. Before we met I had visited this rather impressive temple a couple of times much earlier in its construction and have been keen to see its latest progressions myself. [^] This small series of caches was just the prod we needed to push us out this direction.
TFTC LittleBoss2.

Found with Tyred n Cranky.
Headed over to the outskirts of Bendigo to turn some of the caching icons to smilies.
An interesting little set. Around the area. We made quick finds on all.
This one we had a bit of flowing water between us and the cache. A short walk around and a bit of a jump and we managed to keep our shoes relative dry.

Find No. 3703. Found with FUF009 at 9.34am.
A caching day with FUF009, in his ute, around the outskirts of Bendigo to find a few caches and earn points for Signal's Labyrinth.
Great to have caches a group, in and around the same area like this set of three hides.
We have been past The Great Stupa many times and keep saying we must go in for a look around. One day we will get the time but not today as we are on a mission - a geocaching mission.
Luckily we had our gum boots on cos then it didn't matter about getting our shoes wet. Another quickly found cache.

Thanks for the cache and hide. I will try and listen as much as I talk. I don’t talk all that much Brian might say different
I have not been in to look at the stupa since it began the build.
Must visit again as it towers over the surrounding bush.
A nice series of 3 caches.
This was the first as I detoured out here on my way home to Creswick.
Thanks LittleBoss2.

After a kick start to the day at the "Lose the Blues Morning Tea" we had a great day of caching around the Maldon area, extending through Marong as we headed back to camp.
Long ago we watched the progress of the stupa as it was being built, it was interesting to call by today.
Thanks to LittleBoss2 for placing caches in interesting locations.
