Logs
Quick find after having to shoo a couple of pigeons intent on guarding the cache. Im not brave. It was a sight! Signed as CB and GZ. TFTC!
Found with Gazania Rigens, as per her log.Continuing our caching wander around this fascinating island with its layers of history. This was a quick find of one of your great signature containers whilst the coast was clear of muggles all around. Cache is in fine fettle.TFPAM!
Another quick find here, with hardly any muggles in the upper part of the island. TFTC!
#24901. There weren't many muggles around, and thanks to the extensive info in the hint that cache didn't take long to find. The island certainly has a rich history. TFTC.
StreetWalkerNZ and I arrived in Sydney last night, and the plan was to visit Cockatoo Island this trip. The forecast was for warm weather so we decided to head out after breakfast while it was still cool.Another nicely concealed cache to find as we explored this historical place. TFTC.
I'm aware of the bird poo on the cache's outside camouflage. This one is on my list for a maintenance visit.
Found it its a bit mucky so didnt want to touch it. Have a pic to verify but obv havent signed it
TFTC and a nice hide. The buildings on the island are so interesting and have character. Thanks TFTC for placing all these caches on the island for us to find and learn about the history of this amazing island. A favourite from me for all your time and effort in maintaining the caches.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Found today on a fun day out with the CO & techsavvy19.
Another cool sneaky hide. This one in the ship building precinct. Not sure about hand sanitizer, but there was a dead pigeon near the hide. But would you believe that wasn't the first we'd seen today? Still better than the love seagulls trying to keep is away from their chicks!TFTC
12 August 2024 Each time I think I've finished all the geocaches on Cockatoo Island another one rears its Calypso themed head. By the time I board the ferry, i confidently to see a new one published!! Go for it Mr C...TFTC TFTC_Sydney
After a rainy start to the day, the afternoon produced glorious sunshine which was perfect for our trip to Cockatoo Island. We caught the ferry from Barangaroo & were soon on the island. This was my next stop & I was concerned that the cache might be inaccessible as there were workmen close to GZ. But they turned out to be working on the building opposite so with some stealth I was able to get my hand on a familiar container. I completed the paperwork before replacing everything as found. Mischief managed!Found at 14:52Cache #10480TFTC TFTC_Sydney
I am finally logging a number of caches I had no time to write. Had a great time caching with mountainsbeyond and StarsAlign. TFTC
More fascinating history here on a gorgeous day. All good with cache and log, thanks!
It was pretty good and the description is quite right but the buildings rusty so be careful also the geocache isnt micro
Key cases and film canisters are micro containers. It's often the outer camouflage that's larger.
I feel like some of these caches should be ranked a little harder, nevertheless they are great caches. TFTC!
Thanks for this amazing experience to add to our great urban challenge this was a fun find for our team to find
10:02Cold & wet? Yes! but a ferry fun day out and about around Sydney with fellow Victorians - long time caching buddies Suscoe. Totally findable fabulous photos in cache notes.A BIG thank you to %Name who designed this cache.37109
At Cockotoo Island with the Cub Scouts from 1st Mittagong. We were touring the island when I decided to check the app to see if there were any caches available. To my joy... there was.We stopped for lunch not far from this one, and I got to impart my knowledge and skills of how the world of geocaching worked. I gave them the hint and watches as they worked their way through the information before successfully obtaining the cache. I signed the log for us all before talking about the responsibilities of making sure everything gets put back EXACTLY as was found.TFTC and the adventure
Suscoe headed out early this morning to explore Cockatoo Island. We visited with our very good friends Phetlern. It was a quiet ferry trip with not many people about.Well this certainly was a surprise, such a wonderful island to explore with terrific history and a diverse range of equipment, buildings, 360 degree views and a degree of serenity in the middle of a thriving City. Thanks to TFTC_Sydney for yet another interesting hide out here. A favourite for your work in showing us this island.
The photo posted by player_98 is not actually the building where the cache is located.
Never been to cockatoo island before and so happy to be exploring. 1st cache found on the island
Nice hide and easy to access despite a crowd about today. All dry inside. Signed and returned as found. TFTC
