We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some more previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some of the newly placed Adventure Labs and SideTracked caches, and accumulate some "units of fuel" for the new "Cosmic Quest" souvenir challenge. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today (day 1) we travelled out to Vineyard, going via the M2 & M7 Motorways from Delhi Road North Ryde to the Sunnyholt Road exit, then through Acacia Gardens, Parklea, Quakers Hill, Schofields and Riverstone to reach our accommodation. Collected numerous Traditional caches, a couple of SideTracked caches, a previously solved Mystery/Puzzle cache, and a five stage Adventure Lab with AL Bonus cache that we passed along the route. This was the 5th of 18 finds for the day (day 1), and 5th find of the holiday. This one was next, parking the geomobile in Tangerine Drive, and then heading into the park for a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced the cute little cache as he was found. TFTC 93RyanBoom1.Find #6913

Out on my bike, catching up on a few local caches. When I arrived at the park. I thought this cache was bound to be part of a band! Sat on the bench checked the coords, realised this turtle was not part of a band.Followed the accurate coords and found clise by what I was looking for. On first view it looked more like a hand grenade than a turtle. But on closer inspection found the log and signed. Thanks for maintaining the cache.

Was a hard search because the bushes are spiky, after 15 minutes of searching I still couldn’t find it and decided to give up. Based on these logs I believe it’s either damaged and hard to spot or been removed

16-Jul-23
We do not agree with the previous log as we found the cache container to be in good condition when we arrived with ilook4geo. It does need a new log though as the one there is very tatty. We did mange to get both names on it however before we replaced all as found and were on our way. Thanks for the cache go to 93RyanBoom1.

This was the first of two finds today. After conducting some cache maintenance, I decided with a little time up my sleeve to find a couple of local caches. I had previously attempted this cache but for some reason the GPS would not settle and after walking in circles, I gave up. Today, the GPS behaved itself but the search did require some extra attention to odd details. I looked at the object at GZ and on the first sweep, didn't notice anything, but on the second sweep, something caught my eye. Very cute camo. SL. TFTC.

17-Oct-22
Another simple cache to attempt during my latest visit for a family function. Co-ords spot on for a quick find though possibly more so the three-part Yertle which was spread openly around the area. Signed the log and reassembled safely in the one spot.

13-Oct-22
After comp tennis today I came out here to Parklea to make a couple of finds to increase my total for each calendar date to 10. This is completely the wrong direction for home but was the nearest unfound to the tennis courts.

After one wrong turn I ended alongside Reserve 842 which seems like a strange name for a park.
The co-ordinates were spot on and I soon found Yertle, actually this is the 2nd cache I've found called Yertle the Turtle, the other is near Manly Dam.
Well this Yertle was a little wet on the inside but the zip lock bag had done it's job and the log sheet was completely dry. I signed the log and dried Yertle off before leaving the park. Not a muggle in sight!

#9188 (1 of 2 todays)

I am gradually catching up with my logging - I'm missing two months worth or so. And that's over 100 caches! At least my most recent finds are up to date - just need to fill in the gap!

To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...

Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.

Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, I just have to put my mind to my future goals... 25 per day? Owwww.

Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.
Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###

Really nice container and appreciate the spot on coords. I’m located close by, thus, casual caching in between odd home jobs, or should I be truthful and say lack of.
I drove here a few days back, but found kids sitting inside the nearby gazebo, thus kept on driving.
Giving out a fav, on the unique container, but be mindful it’s NOT waterproof, thus higher maintenance on ziplock bags to keep that log dry. May I suggest, write in the rain paper, waterproof paper.
Thanks for the placement, enjoy your first heart
