Fun little puzzle

Found with GeoMonkeyAU after the nearby CITO. Beautiful spot. TFTC

02-Nov-24
After attending the nearby CITO a bit earlier in the afternoon, I collected the necessary information to put into the checker, and duly received the final co-ords for the hide. By now it was raining on and off; it was a good thing I had packed for that eventuality. Suitably protected from the downpour, I made my way towards GZ, at the same time also picking up waypoints for the nearby Adventure Lab.Initially, I was a bit concerned that I would be within view of several muggles, but it turned out that GZ was quite well out of sight. I used the detailed info from the checker to get close, and then went into visual inspection mode to make the find. What a clever hide in terms of the camouflage!! I always appreciate a good hide that blends in really well, especially in an urban environment. Hidden in plain sight, so to speak.Fortunately, the rain had let up quite a bit by the time I got around to signing duties, so the log sheet didn't get exposed to moisture. Then it all went back as found, and I concentrated on the AL for the next bit before heading back to the Metro and home. There must have been several Halloween parties on this afternoon/evening: on the Metro in both directions at various stations I spotted people suitably dressed as witches, vampires and ghouls. And no, these were not kids who were lost and were still trick-or-treating their way around. These were young adults. Such fun!

Found after the nearby CITO. Beautiful spot. TFTC FP

02-Nov-24
I managed to find the two words while collecting rubbish, and after the CITO event walked on to GZ. After 9a search MrsFish found the container, although I think she was given a nod by LegoLads to help. Thanks for a great hide, very neatly hidden.

Last few hours in Sydney before heading to the airport, last little walk in the city with a few caches along the wayLast one for me in the city, again a very nice cache, leaving a last FP for all the work done on this one and all the other caches, Tftc ! Greetings from France

22-Oct-24
We started this on our last trip to Sydney in January, but the construction work stopped any progress. Back again today with the work around. No issues at all and a very convenient watering hole close by. All good. Thanks.

22-Oct-24
Visiting Sydney for four days to attend a conference. In between the schedule when I had free time, I picked up some labs and caches in the city that had cropped up since I was last in town earlier in the year.Crafty final cache! Have a favourite point for the simple crafty work at the final. Cheers TFTC_Sydney! Big Grin

Hlsningar frn Sverige, sdra Lappland Then it was time for a little adventure. The trip goes to Sydney in Australia and then on to Christchurch and Dunedin in New Zealand .On the trip are, Tigertassen, myself, ursus67, Lnganfans and Pidjas go, which means that we log under the common name "Tulp". The idea is that before we go home we should have visited a Megaevent, Geo Toroa. Greetings from Sweden, southern Lapland

Very fun multi on a good day in Sydney, got to #900 trad and #300 lab today as well. Found this one with MsEvs. Cheers

07-Oct-24
With a mostly wet week ahead forecast, I needed to take advantage of today's warm sunshine to get out of the house and find a cache, so (perhaps foolishly given the size of the crowds) I took the train down to Sydney and the ferry across to Manly for lunch. Arriving back at the quay, I'd originally intended to walk across to this cache but with the wind strengthening and "warm" having become "hot", I thought I'd take the train around to Wynyard and walk through the tunnel to Barangaroo, thinking that would get me fairly close. But no, I was still the best part of a kilometre away, though at least there were no hills to cross.Anyway, to cut a long story short, once I got there I soon spotted the two words I needed and got the nod (and coordinates) from the checker. Of course I forgot once again to read the hint in the checker, but it turned out I didn't need it as I spotted the camo pretty much straight away. All in good condition. Many thanks for the fun multi in this nice area. Fortunately the new metro station was close at hand so I was able to begin my journey home from there.

30-Sep-24
After spending most of the day in the Lower North Shore, I found myself at Victoria Cross station and decided to do a quick hop underneath the harbour to Barangaroo station. Bless the new metro!I had gone and completed the AL stage right next to here first, and thank god I did because the information required for that was precisely the same as what was required for the first step of this multi-cache! Once the GZ had been obtained, I headed to the spot where there was a unique cache container that blended right in! TFTC!(Logged under my previous username, 'hjckrau'.)

29-Sep-24
Found the coordinates and went looking through the undergrowth but to no avail. I feel we were close but no cigar. Will try again next time

25-Sep-24
We headed into town today by the Metro with ilook4geo to enjoy some of the sights and history of our city. TFTC caches give us all that. At GZ we found a well fitted container. We did a lot of walking today to find these caches - and lots of steps were climbed too. Thanks go to TFTC_Sydney for placing this cache.

25-Sep-24
Our caching took us into town today with goingplaces2 for a hunt around Barangaroo and close by. The log here was signed with both names and replaced as found. All is good with the container and log. TFTC.

Completed the footwork 7-8am yesterday after doing 3 other caches. Before here, more clues gathered for 2 multis and one smiley find. However I had to leave for work on time. Tonight I returned to complete this multi cache find. TFTC TFTC_Sydney. Will I find a nearby traditional cache or be muggled out by leisure chatters under a floodlighted tree? Yeap, too crowded after 6pm with breezy dusk harbourside views.

Went down to the cove and got the coordinates. Had a time getting TravelDragon99 to stop playing with the water snails (barnacles?). Finally headed up to try the cache. Was misled by one spot but finally realized and made the find. TFTC

03-Sep-24
A new day of caching in Sydney were we found another number of caches of the TFTC Sydney caches, a very nice serie. With help from the clear hints, it was never a problem except one were acces was not allowed at the moment of our visit. This cache was a bit more difficult because we couldn't find the clues, even after visiting almost all the blocks, but the finds for a nearby labcache appeared to be an accepteble guess so we could move on to the final. We enjoyed these caches a lot, so thanks for these caches.Team Mavos - Albert and Maria

With the major work happening in this area, the big screen showing the Wellama - Welcome to Country video has been removed. As a result, I have rearranged this cache so it can be found again. When the work is completed, hopefully the video will return. In the interim, a temporary GZ has been identified and a cache placed there. All information required to find this cache has been updated.

I didn't make it to WP1 because of the huge roadworks.

02-May-24
2/2 caches found in the city today before heading to a blue switch day eventQuickly found wp1 and punched thus into certitude, the gps on my phone was playing up and trying to tell me the cache was 500 meters away, unlikely I thought, and used the hint within the checker to find the cache, amazing container, worthy of a favourite point from me, tftc.

21-Apr-24
Definitely the hole came first!

21-Apr-24
Tftc, spent morning walking around Barangaroo with the wife. I was last here when it was still under development. After getting the codeword we made our way to GZ. What came first? The cache or the hole?

20-Apr-24
The extended Crooked Clan are enjoying a weekend visiting Sydney. Arriving yesterday, we had a great day, finishing the day with a Hoodoo Guru's concert at "Meatstock" festival out at Homebush. This morning, whilst the rest of the crew are getting some breakfast and doing the touristy stuff around Circular Quay, I snuck away to grab some caches.I jumped off the light rail and took a rainy walking tour through the CBD, Circular Quay. I finally made my way to Observatory Hill and then on towards Darling Harbour. On my last visit here, I had collected the clue, but had run out of time to visit the final. Today, I managed to remedy that. It was very wet when I arrived at GZ and I was glad of the helpful hint which shortened my search. I soon discovered the very well constructed and hidden container, signed my name and returned everything as found. A crooked favourite point for the container and hide here. Many thanks TFTC SydneyPete#7,832

I'm out caching on this beautiful day while visiting your country. I am visiting from Rhode Island and traveling with a group of cachers from USA and Canada. We will be traveling to Brisbane, Sydney, and embarking on an NCL cruise to the South Pacific. Logs will be signed with our names or group name to saveroom on logs. SPCA24. Thank you to the COs who hide and maintain these caches. Everything below this line is for Project-GC log numbers. ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** I will be attending any nearby events to meet up with local cachers. I will be targeting gadget caches, which are always a fun challenge. Older caches and Virtuals aren't to be missed. Solved puzzles that I've spent many snowy days working on. Earthcaches are always worth the lessons learned. Challenge caches are some of my favorites even if I don't qualify yet... something to work towards. Webcams before they all disappear. High favorites are always worth the fun. Adventure Labs point out things I would usually just drive by without the work a CO puts into them. New counties, whenever possible, for some of those challenges I've already signed. Let's not forget towns for MA351 whenever in the area. I'm always on the lookout for large sized containers and caches for my Fizzy and Jasmer grids. Logs will be stamped with our caching names or initials to save room on logs. I don't always stamp in order, I will fill in spaces if there are any on the log. If answers are required, one of us will send them when we get home. Thank you to all of the COs for the time and dedication of hiding and maintaining these Geocaches for everyone to find! ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **

#19353 - 3:08:31 PM; In Sydney for a couple of days with the geohoney to catch a show and a bit of retail therapy for her and some caching for me Wink. After breakfast in the city, I was soon on my way to collect a few of the newer caches around the CBD, before catching the train to Strathfield and on to Hornsby to progress a long range adventure lab. Grabbed a multi in Hornsby before heading back to the city, where picked up another handful in the TFTC series before calling it a day. All caches were found without too much trouble and returned as found after the logs were signed, including this one! A fave for the location and the final hideCool TFTC TFTC_Sydney Smile

Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun. After leaving Doha yesterday, we visited Sydney today.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndyThis log entry is translated with the help of Google.

We have traveled with 36 likeminded geocachers to Australia and New Zealand resulting in lots of opportunities for sightseeing and geocaching. The logbooks were mostly signed under the teamname "Team DownUnder24" and answers were sent to owners for the group, as appropriate. This has been a great trip with a multifold of new impressions and experiences.During our stay in Sydney we had also the opportunity to visit some caches. This cache was also among our finds today. Thanks for leading us here and showing and thanks for the cache.

We had a great time in Sydney and looked at many sights. That's how we came across this cache here too.?? I am also part of the large tour group from Germany, for reasons of space, we have entered the logbook as **DownUnder24**.Thank you for luring and hiding, says ollileinThe tour group includes: gc, AndyausDu, AmoebeST, B@cker-1, Biggidag, Brummelbren, CacheTaucher, cooljo, Fotopinguin, Freizeit-Tina, Gazelle5111, GEO Karen, GoanToni, HFo, hupsi-1, karrai *, Leilah03, lenny love, Lupus54, Maxipimpf, muschel3, Ollilein, Opaundenkel, penalty96, Rheins, Simowl, sozioma, Sr. Elli, Team Zyanor, viko76, Webmasterrollerin, Whlhase, XenSuo

Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????.

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.Today, we visite on foot a part of Sydney, we walk the streets guided by the caches. Sydney IS very Big.Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots

Nice to get another Multi on this trip. Gathered the word and converted to coordinates and headed to GZ final. Great hide here, another FP coming from me in recognition. An early start of 0600 today and a big 8kms walked before 0745 and breakfast back at the hotel on Kent St. The temperature and lack of muggles are both conducive for a bit of caching and that was appealing.Todays geocaching exploits were once again two-fold. First up was my early morning 4A out and about from 0600 until Ive found a couple and walked 5 or 6 kms. Then after mrs c and I head out for the day we headed a variety of places, including The Rocks, The Harbour Bridge and then later out to Taronga Zoo on the ferry, but solely for caching purposes! Thanks to all COs for their hides to enable my finds.

A fantastic cache thats in a busy area yet easy to find with few if any muggles at the calculated GZ - and what a delight. Nice to get there and sign the log - yes we used the hint, but you really dont need to. Thanks for the fun.

200!! Today the family was wondering around Barangaroo and I was determined to grab my 200th find. At the posted coordinates, it was a quick grab of the info before we were off to GZ. At GZ it was a quick find, a nicely hidden one as well. We logged with included pen then replaced as found.TFTC, #200!!
