Loved the escape room.. phew Halloween and we managed to find our way out TFTC
CO check: container is still at its location, all good, waiting to be found. Good luck and have fun.
The cache has been muggled, we'll prepare and place a new container in the coming days.
Certainly a unique AL. It didn't take me too long to figure it out luckily. Fav point for originality.
Glad to finish this. We had fun doing the Ad Lab caches and this was the icing on the cake. Thanks for all the fun.
We did the ad lab the other day, with a lot of confusion (none of us ever having done an escape room). Was very satisfying when the pennies started to drop!! Today's effort was much easier. Thanks for the fun
Came here with a friend who does escape rooms far more often than I do but caches a lot less. It took us a few minutes to figure out what we were aiming for, but then we had the swing of it and had a blast. The bonus cache was in beautiful condition too - a delight to find something decently sized. Definitely the highlight of our day, thank you!
Great escape room, adventure lab! And this bonus cache was a lot easier than the escape room. TFTC
This Adventure Lab was very well constructed, and after a little initial confusion, we really enjoyed working our way around through the puzzles to make our escape. So definitely a favourite from us. The bonus cache was then a quick easy find. TFTC
#23088. I needed a find today, and by the time lunchtime rolled around the light rain had stopped, so I decided to head out on the bike to look for this one. All quiet at GZ and a quick find. TFTC.
Found the adventure a bit frustrating working out some of the answers, but in hindsight a fun experience once we managed to complete it — good thing my friend could assist TFTC Dimepodore!
Lots of dog walkers about, so grabbed when the coast was clear, much larger than expected; TFTC
We loved doing this adventure lab cache in the rain incidentally. The final was quickly found though I was a bit worried that I would set off the car alarm as the car was almost parked on top of the geocache. I grabbed the container, signed the log and quickly returned it before the car owner saw me. A favourite point for the entire ALC. Brilliant!
We're working toward the streak challenge so had to come out in the rain to do the adlab and final.
Loved this adlab. Escape room concept works so well and this one was wonderfully cunning. Favourite from me

I loved doing the labs, very cool idea and a bit more challenging than the usual ones. I was pleased to have the escape room expert Sir Belac to help. Picked up TB. Thanks Dimepodore

#2499. Did the AdLab yesterday, but some rain prevented searching for this cache. Clear this morning, but somehow I came here with no pen!! But luckily, there was one in the cache.
Tftc and the unique (for me) AdLab, Dimepodore.
Tftc and the unique (for me) AdLab, Dimepodore.
We started the ad lab last year, on a day we both needed 2 finds (for calendar purposes) and decided we'd carry on doing it together as two brains are better than one .
Another calendar day today, but the weather forecast was not good, so with one eye on the dark clouds looming, we decided to head out after morning coffee to carry on with the ad lab. Unfortunately, StreetWalkerNZ, who was driving, had to pull over to take a call en route to Abberley Park, and by the time he hung up, there were already a few spots of rain on the windscreen. Best laid plans etc etc...
The next few WPs were quickly completed but when we got to the last WP, the rain was getting quite steady, and after a few attempts at opening the door, we realised what we needed to do and we were free! Great concept
I still needed one more find, so we drove to this bonus cache GZ where SW made the find but he will keep the paperwork for another day. Thanks, really enjoyed the ad lab, just a pity we didn't escape the rain .
I love Abberley Park too, as we used to live not too far away and I went to a playgroup in the hall here when our sons were tiny, so have many happy memories. Sons are now big hulking brutes in their thirties! Grabbed TB. TFTC.

My son and I had a lot of fun doing the Adventure Lab and escaping from the scented garden although we did get stuck at one point for a long time until we had a breakthrough moment and then it was plain sailing. The final was a quick find and well stocked with treasures. My son was disappointed that I had left the swag bag at home so he couldn't do a swap. We did leave a trackable for someone to move along. Thanks for the Ad Lab and bonus cache Dimepodore!
We completed the adventure lab with Ilmari_the_Red before Christmas but left the final for a puzzle dot day; today as it turns out. The A/L was very reminiscent of early adventure computer games from the 1980s. Yes, we remember those! Much fun. TFTC!
This is my fourth geocaching excursion to **beautiful New Zealand**!
This time it's a road trip enduring for 26 days, covering both North- and South-Island.
The last destination of the journey is reached now : Christchurch .
Welcomed me with absolutely sh...y weather [xx(] today [B)].
So the plans (carefully worked out in detail before the trip ) had to be changed completely .
Means: Only easy caches and andventure-labs - not too far to drive...
Didn't help [:(!]: I got wet-wet-wet [B)]!
Nevermind !
This geo-treasure contributed to the finds of today. Cool! [^]
A great adventure-lab in the rain [B)], going back and fourth until I understood the principle ..
A big thanks to the owner Dimepodore [:X] for the cool adventure and this bonus-cache [^] - and best regards from Germany !
P.S.: FAV!

I completed the Adventure a few days ago and returned today to find the bonus cache. Final coordinates spot on so the cache was found pretty much in the first place I checked. This was an interesting idea for an AdLab. Not really like any I'd done before. Thanks for the fun and TFTC, Biggles.
The adventure lab was a fun little game, but more than that, I love this beatiful secret park! One of those Christchurch features I miss, not living here any more.
Aside from a bit of an oops not realising we could walk to the final GZ from the park, and a bit of trouble with bees there (I'm deathly allergic!), the final was a simple find. Thank you!

After escaping from Scented Garden back in August 2022 I recced the bonus's location and then stored the info away until needed for a mystery challenge dot-day. Today, was the last mystery dot-day I had left to fill for 2022.
With my ebike having packed a sad on a MTB trail a couple of days ago I was forced to pump up the tires of my old treadlie and ride it the 17km to GZ, It was reasonably easy with the slight following tailwind. The log was quickly retrieved and signed. The 17km ride back home took 10 mins longer due to the headwind plus the lack of electric assistance. [xx(] Thanks for the Ad Lab and this bonus. The combo get a fav from me. Cheers.

The adventure lab ad me thinking for abit but got there in the end. Nearly gave up
Well that was interesting little AdLab, a bit of thinking required since I managed to finally guess one answer before the other (phew), but it all makes sense now. Cheers
I decided to come and do the associated AdLab to test my brain out. Which I did with varying degrees of success. I did have to resort to use my PAF card though.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Daughter and I completed the fun Adventure Lab a while ago and scoped out this cache but we decided to leave the paperwork for a puzzle dot day.
Came back today and was pleased that I knew exactly where the hide was as it was pouring with rain. TFTC and a fun twist on the AL concept.

A quick find at GZ after the most enjoyable AdLab, which was great because there were lots of local muggles about.
Took it back through and across to my car for the sign as it was raining.
Attended a phone call then by the time I went to replace it, the rain had stopped and muggles had disappeared
Thanks for the effort gone into the AL and bonus cache

A lovely day. After visiting family nearby we stopped by to complete the adventure and find this Bonus.
A fun wee Adlab. Although the park was busy we had the adlab space to ourselves. Mr13 and mr15 reminicing about coming here as toddlers for a run around or swim with their grandparents and cousins who both live within a short walk.
After the adlab we left the car nearby and walked by the final and popped in to the grandparents to say.
Thanks for the different take on an Adlab.

I had work the final out for this bonus a while back and had the opportunity to visit today. The cache was a quick find on a beautiful day out. TFTH
️ Parking ️ was wonderful. It made finding this cache really enjoyable. I also enjoyed the lab cache, once I got the hang of it.
Thanks for hiding this cache Dimepodore I appreciate it.

First time ever doing an 'escape' so weren't really sure what we were in for or how it all worked. Managed to find all points but only got one answer on first go round. Second look gave us another but we were stuck on 3 and it didn't help that one of the benches had an occupant who settled in for a while. Once her book was finished and she was on her way, we scoped out the next answer which quickly led to the last ones and the bonus cache. tftc
Greetings from Queensland! Today is day 4 of our holiday and we are leaving Christchurch and heading to Methven.
Fresh from an escape room last night we thought we’d try our luck at this virtual one. It took a moment to catch on but once we did we worked well together and managed to escape the gardens. Was definitely glad to do this as a team.
Once we got the final coords, it was a short stroll to GZ and cache found.
A really cool idea for an ad lab, might have to take the idea back home . Tftc, gets a FP

Thank goodness for PAF, without this we would be going back again!! Just couldn't get inside the thinking of the CO, but the final made up for it all. A very different kind of Ad Lab. Thank you.
Managed to find the cache without issue after being just out of sight of some dog walkers. Thanks for the cache
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. A fav point for the AdLab and the bonus. It was a fun lab to do once I got into it more deeply! I'm gad there was a pen in the cache as I'd left mine in the car.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

The best AdLab! My family and I really enjoy doing escape rooms and two of us were delighted to have found this open air virtual one.
We really enjoyed doing the Adv Lab today and then coming for this bonus as a treat and blank puzzle dot day. Giving a fav here because the whole experience was so fantastic. Thanks for the fun and laughter had by us two and this puzzle cache Dimepodore.
Solved the lab adventure with Nosynel and it took us ages and a lot of thinking. Cache was a quick find and pleasantly surprised by the cache size.
We enjoyed the Adventure and came back the next day for the bonus. Thanks Dimepodore for the Ad Lab and bonus. It had us thinking for a while.
Well that was an adventure!! very different and a bit challenging. It took a while to sink in what to do and even then the last one took a few combinations until the penny dropped totally instead of half hearted!! Had to PAF to get past one and I won't be the first to do that, almost guaranteed. Certainly made the brain cells work and hope folk don't go out on a freezing day, cos it's not a quick solve. Congrats on a AL outside the square. Brilliant idea and it will shake us up a bit I think!! PS I have given the wrong date on my actual log in error, I put 24th instead of 25th. Apologies.
Quick grab after finishing up the adventure lab. TFTC and the great adventure lab.
Found with Juju54, really love the lab cache & nice to get the bonus - TFTC
An interesting variation on the usual Adventure Lab (in a park notorious for muggled physical caches), followed by a short walk to an easy puzzle cache. Perfect for an "on the way home" stop.

This was my first official AL! I had tagged along with ivss_xx for several in the past but never committed to the app myself. I have no good reason for this.
We set out today for the FTF and I figured to give it a go. We had a nice surprise as we got started - the CO was there to ensure it worked! With a bit of a nudge to accommodate my colorblind eyes, we got there in short order. Thanks, CO! This was good fun.

This has taken AdLabs to the next level compared to the other ones I have done. Was really fun escaping the "room". Even though the CO was there, to make sure whoever gets there first, doesn't encounter any non-solvable bugs, we did it all on our own.
I will definitely keep this idea of a "sequential non-sequential" AL in mind if I get more credits in the future.
Abberley Park was semi-familiar to me from some caching before and from making my own adventure lab following St Albans Creek that weaves its way through this park as well.
Cache found in good order, good size box but we didn't have anything to trade.
Kia ora! Paldies!

Thanks for your excellent lab and its bonus. Enjoyed reading all the notes too. A bonus were all the butterflies.
