We completed the AdLab part of this some time ago but when we arrived to do this bonus there were workers nearby so we left it for another day. Today was that day and with no one around we found the cache and fished it out of its spot.TFTC

Methinks that there has been a fire here in the recent past

After completing the Adventure Labs some time ago, we visited this tin today and fished it down to enter it in the logbook.Thank you for the Adventure and the fishing box sayTeam sissifalke

Arrived at the final location and located the cache container. Used the TOTT (Tool of the Trade) to retrieve the cache. Signed the logbook with my trusty pen. Thanks for the adventure! Happy caching!

We completed the adventures a year or 2 ago, but Mr CNQ was only able to collect the bonus today after starting the trip back north. Took a couple of goes to get it back up to its perch, but was in good condition after the wild weather. Thanks for the bonus cache.

11-Dec-23
I previously did the Banksia Beach Adventure Lab in late 2022, but as this bonus cache was so far away from the Adventure Lab, I didn't get a chance to stop here on that day. Whilst in the vicinity and after completing the Beachmere Adventure Lab, we stopped off here with my TOTT, and it wasn't long before spotting the cache and using the TOTT accordingly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [TBU1Bikesu](https://coord.info/PRDWW2K) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today turned out to be quite an epic day of adventures, which was in contrast to my usual Monday work day with thanks to flexible work!It was an early morning start meeting [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) at Mount Samson, and we walked in the scrubland finding a few high tree fishing geocaches. Following that, the technical tree climb [I See Better From a Distance](https://coord.info/GC6BNVZ) was conquered with a small group. It was then a northern drive to scope [Licorice Challenge](https://coord.info/GCA9J9Y), and despite having heard about its sketchy tree climb aka tough Terrain rating, it lived up to its reputation.I then closed out the day with [MeAndDe](https://coord.info/PR9CNGM) to walk the mud flats of Sandstone Point finding a few Little Birds. I had planned to kayak these, but this appeared to be a reasonable alternative. We detoured past Beachmere to complete the [Beachmere - worth a visit!](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/1920324e-f45b-4471-9c63-83e9302f835a) Adventure Lab, and made one last swing past its bonus cache.

We signed the log today while we were here with another geocacher. We'll claim the find after we finish the Ad Lab.

15-Aug-23
Tftc, we completed the lab a while ago, it has taken a while for us to get back to this area. Didn't take long to see it and
No trouble with the fishing, cache in good condition.

27-Jul-23
Had completed this AL a long time ago. Found quickly. Easily retrieved and replaced which was a nice change for me with these types of caches.

06-Jul-23
Getting the cache off the knobbly little branch it was on was a little bit challenging at times but got there in the end. Thank goodness it was easier putting it back on again. TFTC

06-Jul-23
Our last find for today as the skies started to look a bit less inviting. It was a good time to finish, and a good one to finish on. The size of the tether and the knobbliness of the branch made this one more challenging than the previous but with a little wiggle waggling we managed to retrieve it. We had completed the associated AdLab quite some time ago and finally managed to get to this one today. Thanks TBU1Bikesu

02-Jun-23
Finally had the opportunity for a quick grab of this final after having completed the adlab a while back. Looks like some beehives nearby! Good to see. Tftc

02-Jun-23
Had collected the numbers a few weeks back with Gcoven. At the time we were pole-less and ladder-less so decided to give this a miss until we were better equipped. I was loitering in the area on another chore and contacted Gcoven to see if she had the time and wanted to complete the deed. She was available and happy to visit this final.

Meeting up at a logical parking spot, avoided the fly boys and made our way to GZ. Gcoven eventually spotted the hide while I was preparing the erection. Cache quickly collected, signed and dispatched. Thanks TBU1Bikesu for a reason to visit Banksia and a destination on route home.

An enjoyable AL. Thanks for arranging and hiding this cache.

02-May-23
I couldn't leave the area without grabbing the final of course. I have a feeling there might be a few more hiding in here somewhere but we'll leave them for another day.
Thanks again and thanks for a cool adlab.

Had help with this cache as my TOTT is not enough and I was worried that I could not get him back to his perch. Much easier with 2 manoeuvrering this cache. Signed the log and the cache was placed back where it belongs. Thanks TBU1bikesu. All good with this bonus cache.

We completed the AL quite a while ago and then decided to get a pole to be able to sign this log. Our first attempt went to plan with the retrieval and to our surprise when we got the container down it was missing the lid. We signed the log and put a stick in the container to hold the log paper in and replaced as found. The CO may like to put a new lid on sometime to keep it dry. Thanks for the AL and the cache TBU1BikesU.

16-Oct-22
Tree fishing afternoon I need these caches for a challenge cache. I had four targeted today. Found first two, then DNF the third one and muggle out of the fourth one. Had some young adults sleeping 10 meters away from the cache. Plus smoking drug.

After completing the remaining Adventure Labs in the area we decided to head out today to grab them, and since theirs a new challenge out that requires a tool we thought it would be best to grab them now before the month was over.

After grabbing the Beachmere Adventure Lab final this was next on the list, and same as before, we quickly spotted the hide and lowered it back down to earth for signing duties.

Thanks for bringing us here. Alyce and I enjoyed our stroll along Banksia Beach to complete the Adventure Lab.

Signed with Peppa, Giraffe 18, Twomanytrailers and BlkThunder on our lovely drive to Bribie and surrounds today

19-Aug-22
We completed the Adventure this morning, and then having after enjoying lunch in Sandstone Point, there was a question of time to be able to collect this cache on the way home…

PirateLinda and I had been here just last week, even commented on GZ as we went past… after a few moments staring at the heavens, it was Giraffe18 who found the cache on the ground…

After making our mark, we returned the cache to what we thought was it’s likely branch…

Tftc…

19-Aug-22
I spied the cache on the ground. So we signed the log book and replaced back on what looked like the best area. TFTC

19-Aug-22
Out for a day trip to bribie with the crew stopped for lunch and finished our day with the bonus cache. After much looking up from the group we heard the famous found as giraffe18 picked the cache up from the ground. Peppa replaced it to where thought it should be. With Peppa, PirateLinda, giraffe18 and BLKThunder thanks for the find

Parked at the end of the road and left geowife in the car to read her magazine. Arrived at GZ looked up for sometime but couldn't see the cache, so phoned geowife to come and give me a hand please please please. When Bev arrived she soon spotted it (I should have put my glasses on!!) Cache was soon retrieved log signed and returned. A favourite for the AL and Bonus cache. TFTC TBU1Bikesu Smile

I happened to be in the area today and quickly completed the lab before heading here. It took a few minutes to spot the container but no problems. Thanks for the cache

10-Aug-22
I had to drive up the freeway to rescue a family member who was having car troubles near Caboolture. While I was there I happened to see this one and had no idea it was sitting there. I got over to bribie and completed the lab the as I was heading to the final the phone let me know that the cache had been found. OH well I still would have done this cache at some stage.

I found the cache nicely where I needed a TOTT, it did not take long and I had the cache in hand. I opened the cache and grabbed the log , the ink from the stamp was still wet, lol. I signed the log and returned the cache to the place I found it. Thanks for the lab and the bonus cache.
