Heading out on the bikes with rattll on the HRT between Paeroa and Karangahake and back. Started off a bit overcast, and a couple of showers came through before the morning was done, but a fun ride nevertheless, picking up a few caches along the way.Spent a couple of minutes searching on the wrong side before realising the error. Quick find after that. All good. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Nice sunny day.. the track is quite busy found no problems..all dry and in good condition thanks victus
We are on Shanks Pony today. Just finding a few random caches that have been replaced. A pleasant walk along to here. So many waterfalls that you don't notice when rodong a bike. All the noxious weeds were in full bloom today. Privet, wattle, foxglove, honeysuckle, etc. Thanks for bringing us here vectis
**18,942**Took our geomutt for a leisurely stroll along the cycleway to this cache. Mr Geckoh located it quickly and we returned along the track only being passed by a couple of cyclists and a gentleman on a quadbike who had been setting possum traps. TFTC
Nice long ride along the gorge trail and back from Waihi . Love coming to this area for a walk or ride.
Thanks vectis for revisiting this!
Had a few spare hours this afternoon while staying in Waihi.
- so did this one and 2 others...
Easy find thanks...which is good on a cycleway!
Not too far to walk from Hall and back!

I found this in the company of 10 students on a school camp (SJCgeo). They biked from Waihi to Paeroa finding geocaches along the way. Having done the trail a couple of times before this was one of the few I hadn't already collected and was stoked to nab it. Nice quick find for us. TFTC
This replacement has been out awhile and it was on the list today with a few others and some adlabs. Walked out and back sharing the track with bikers and families TFTC
Cycling the HRT from Paeroa to Waihi on a cloudy, rainy and sunny day. Lots of privet in flower, so we were pleased to have a quick find here before continuing on our bikes. TFTC
This one had been replaced/redone since my last visit to the area, so I decided to bike as far as here this afternoon and then turn around.
No problems making the find here.
Thanks for setting this up

We walked the entirety of the Hauraki Rail trail a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it so were pleased to see this new cache had been published as it gave us a good reason to come back.
It was quite early in the day with not many people around so we enjoyed the peace and quiet on our walk to GZ.
Once there it was a nice quick find and we were surprised to see three others had already been here this morning, so we weren't the only earlybirds today.
Thanks vectis for bringing us back here.

With (Mr) Davidson Clan and Gap (of Fap and Gap)… We got off to an early morning start in an attempt to beat the forecast rain.
The air temperature was enough to freeze hands and noses, so a brisk walk was in order. We (mostly I) huffed and puffed while trying to regulate breathing, and things settled once we were into a rhythm. This is still a stunning track and it didn’t take long to reach our destination. With no one else on the trail, we had freedom to search and find. Thanks vectis and TFTC.

With Boges for the day. We had hoped to shorten the distance to the cache but there was no access at the end of the road. So it was back to the Hall car park. Cache easily located. Thank you for the placement.
Today I was on a mission with KGD (Hairy) to clear the north Waikato caches and Adventure lab cashes. A big thanks for placing this cache. A short ride to get the cache
(FTF) 10.40am. After getting the last one I thought I might as well see if this one was up for grabs still. Made the walk down and quickly found it. Oh yeah another clean log. This weekend I'm after my 3000th find. Only 8 more to go. Thanks for the great start. Tftc.
