Whilst on a quick stop on our way to the Sunny Coast we could not resist a stop at the Banana Bender. Due to this being a busy location stealth was needed. TFTC.
Stopped for a Pee. Had a Look at the Pub. Finished the Ad Lab. Had a Yummy Lunch at Beefys. And found this Cache as well. Well Done Us!!!!
Nice location a muggle surprised us as he approached us asking if we were looking for the geocache he then pointed us in the right direction and cache soon in our hands. TFTC.
On holidays with the family in Caloundra and today I took my youngest kids to Aussie World. They had a blast and after a big day there was only just enough energy from me, and patience from them, for one cache. They were very happy to hear that there was one right outside the gate. I looked in all the likely spots without finding it. The kids were getting impatient so they offered to help me look and searching together we finally found it in a spot I'm sure I had already checked. Thanks for the cache dickbev!
First one for the year after a great day out at Aussie World. Thanks for hiding.
Tftc dickbev, stopped here for some fuel, and there was a cache here,! Had to go look for it.All good here.
Checked this hide today after the 3 DNF's yesterday, its still there waiting to be found.
No luck for us today But after finding this guy was a little worried to feel around in places we couldnt see.
Searched bus stop to the south for about 15 minutes with no luck.Found a spot where it could possibly have been (and markings on the metal) but cache was not there.
A family meet up at Aussie World meant I had the opportunity to collect this cache. The little turmoils knew it had to be found before we could go up the carpark to the theme park. Have never seen them look so fast!
Up in Caloundra with geo-friends to attend a CITO so we left home early to cache before and after the Event. This was a quick and easy find log signed and cache replaced as found. This will always be the Ettamoga Pub to me. TFTC
Out and about and caching before the CITO with RoddyC Princess 1005 MummaBear66 imbunda and pool pool.Working an area that has been we had been in before and now with a lot of new caches now added.Nice quick pickupTFTCache dickbev

Nyssaflutterby, Teamnanabombana and I were headed to the not so sunny coast for a night away for Earthcache weekend. This was our second cache for the day and took us much longer then it should to locate. NF found it right where TNB had suggested but over one space. Logged signed and off we go again.
Out with wombles and Teamnanabombana for EC weekend. A last minute organisation saw us heading up the Sunny Coast together. Reaching GZ we looked here and there, finally I located the sneaky beasty after moving one spot over. Thanks for the cache dickbev
The last of a handful of caches before lunch at the Etamogah nearby.
Crikey it's been a while since I was here last. I think my age was counted in single digits.
So this was a fun lunch upstairs with mum and an aunt.
This cache i stood back and impatiently waited while they both touched poked and prodded everything.
Walked up touched it with a finger as a guess wow. Yep that's it.
Ok now let's go eat lunch.
Thanks dickbev for a nice easy park and grab outside this iconic pub.
Found around midday.

Out finding a few caches with CuriousQuest. After stopping for a cold drink, we headed to this cache. A quick find was made and our names added to the log. With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Out and about with Selva Girls today. After a bit of a search the cache was in hand. Log was signed and replace as found. TFTC
After this morning’s event in the city, I decided I needed a drive to clear my head and have a little time to myself. It just so happened I had a couple of caches that I required to fill in some holes in certain grids. I also stopped at a few as I happen to go past. I even got a ftf while I was in the area.
I had just gotten a few caches along this road and stopped in to get some fuel and drinks. I parked up close to gz and walked over, it was an easy find here today.
I quickly signed the log and replaced the cache as found. I jumped back into the truck and was off to the next target cache. Thanks for the cache and the hide.

Out and about for another day with teamdfl and this time we have 510 caches we both have not found to keep us occupied.
Lots of people were here but we found a good parking spot and walked over to GZ. The cache was a quick find. TFTC, dickbev.

Surprised to get parked here on a Friday afternoon in school holidays, and nice and close too. [^]
Spent about 15 mins searching all over for this one.
Then geohubby made the find after sitting to take a minute to think where it could be.

Out and about with MummaBear & the cubs exploring the wonders of the Sunny Coast and surrounding areas.
The goal for the day was to work towards this months challenge, so the main focus was to find caches with high favourite points and any others we’d come across.
We had a great day out and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon as we’re not even close to completing this months challenge.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Patrol14 and I are spending the day on the Sunshine Coast with the main objective to attend the Rescheduled: Canuck in Caloundra - Meet & Greet…
That meant an early start, with plenty of caching before and after…
Having found a similar hide down the road made for a super quick find here… the only issue was that the sprinklers got turned on for the new grass in the time it took to sign the log…
Thanks dickbev

Our first find for the day and on our road trip this weekend. We had wanted to grab a quick bakery lunch, but baby Cottontail awoke from the back, so we ended up taking more time and using the opportunity to have a picnic on the nearby grass. I then detoured to grab this geocache, and after searching a few spots and going in between the shelters, it took a few minutes to then find the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. An interesting history of the Ettamogah, as having been in the vicinity of the original pub last month at Rutherglen, I decided to read more of the controversy of this pub's naming. Thanks dickbev for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/[jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) stamp.
----------
During this extended weekend, [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I stayed in Noosa Heads. On Friday, we hiked in Noosa National Park visiting Boiling Pot, Dolphin Point, Fairy Pools, and Hell's Gates. On Saturday, I attended the local parkrun followed by a kayak paddle of Lake MacDonald whilst attending the [Four Mountains, Four Directions](https://coord.info/GCA5T0A) event, and then we visited the River Entrance Beach on Noosa Spit towards the north-west in the afternoon. Finally, on Sunday morning, we had breakfast on Hastings Street and then did a small walk in Noosa Heads, before driving back home.
Today, we left across lunch and drove to Noosa so that we could hike Noosa National Park in the afternoon. We walked the Coastal Walk track whilst completing the [Noice Noosa](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/15662aca-4ddc-40d1-be73-bb2eecd6566b) Adventure Lab. We then had just enough light left to grab dinner and check-in to our accommodation for the weekend.

That took longer than expected as we were looking in the wrong area. Quick find once we were directed.
Needed a Message-a-Friend but we found it safe and sound. Thanks, from a Fort Worth, TX cacher!

Holly's netball celebration event thingy earlier in the year was supposed to be held at Aussie World, but it coincided with days of rain, so was postponed.
The park tickets for valid until the end of 2022, so with only a couple of days to spare we joined the Bruce Highway car park and eventually arrived.
We had a super day on the rides. I was even brave and went on the Redback, but the SX360 was a little too mad for my liking.
This was a nice quick find whilst Sandra fueled the car.
Thanks!!

dickbev I found your cache Banana Bender on 29/9/2022, 11:20 am. This is my find 4296 and find # 8 today. Took longer than it should of taken. Was looking in the wrong area. Once I corrected my mistake it was a quick find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
The key to the find is feel and feel again. Nice of the council to provide a seat for weary cachers to complete the log. Thanks dickbev.
As I arrived at GZ, the cache was on top in plain sight. I believe the cache was found earlier today. After a quick contact with the CO, I was directed to the actual location of the cache and I put it back in the in place TFTC and the chat, dickbev
This one was a reasonably quick find once all the muggles in parked cars took no interest in my business at GZ. Took a bit of feeling around until something felt familiar. Thanks dickbev for the cache!
Somehow I didn't notice this one when I was out doing the Bruce Upgrade trail earlier in the week. We'd been out to buy a new toilet for the boat and on the way back stopped here as we had some time to kill before meeting the kids for a Father's Day dinner.
Well, we had a bit of a wait as a semi-trailer was pulled up at the bus stop broken down, something to do with a wheel. We wandered down and the passenger was worried we were waiting for the bus and they were in the way. No, we assured them we didn't need the bus but did not feel it was safe to search with them so close. We headed over to the pub for a closer look - not sure if we like the changes to the appearance but being locals, we've heard the whole drawn out story. We checked out some of the shops that had changed since our last visit and after about 20mins noticed that the semi-trailer was just about the leave handing over a baby they seemed to also have as passenger...
We headed back towards gz as the coast was finally clear and set about our search. With the magnetic clue, this narrowed down where it could be and I had a little nano in my bag to check where it could stick. It was quite tricky but we finally got it when I was sitting down looking back through logs for further clues, J got his hand right on it. Not sure why it took so long. I guess you just have to check every angle.

3:27:00 PM. Found a parking spot. The better half said it will be over there. I like another spot but she was right. Log signed. Thanks for the cache dickbev.
After finding the new caches along the road I headed on to this one. I searched for a while and looked and felt and then contacted the CO and I was actually looking in the other one. The cache was then soon in hand log signed and replaced as found. Thanks dickbev and a favourite for the great hide.
As we followed the trail of Bruce Highway upgrade caches, we stopped here as well.
Gee, we were looking, touching, searching unbelievably long time without any success that we couldn't believe it.
Finally I contacted CO who gave us a hint, thank you.
And then we couldn't really believe that we didn't find it before with 6 eyes and 6 hands!
Very well done, a fav point from me.
We waved passing Konie good-bye and headed back towards Numbers 1-3 down the road.

After grabbing a FTF at Konie's new one, I head to Dickbev's new one in hope of another FTF.
I parked right next to GZ and wandered over and began my search, after looking high and low I eventually placed my hand on the sneakily hidden cache.
Once the cache was in hand, I removed the log book to once again find a nice blank log!!
Once the log was signed everything was replaced exactly as found.
