TFTC - last minute grab before heading back to the mainland

Sneaky little hide! We forgot our pen so couldnt sign it but took a photo for proof. TFTC

Kiwinic and myself are having a nice night in TI over from Albany in WA. While we are here we are grabbing all the caches available to us. A quick find for us here today doing a self walk tour. TFTC

After taking the morning ferry, it was time to explore and pick up a few caches before our helicopter trip later in the morning. The caches worked out to be a good way to see the sights and ended up at the places that had been of interest.This took a little longer than it should have. Looked there, a few times. Was obvious in the end but just missed it initially. Glad to spot it.

A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT.Now with a detour to Thursday Island.TFTC. Nice hide. Looked just the a few times before spotting it.Lovely beach.

Today we opted to catch the ferry from Seisia to TI and spend the day exploring TI (and collecting most of the caches on the Island.)

After arriving, we had about 90 minutes to kill until our bus tour. We were all keen for a walk and there were caches to be found.

Continuing our walk past the Hospital, we soon arrived at Bach Beach. Looks like the swimming enclosure has seen better days. This was a tough one to find. Swellerfungus eventually uncovered it. Many thanks PalmTreesTI

I’m on day fourteen of a road trip from Brisbane to Cape York with Swellerfungus micjor and Jezndez ……. today we are visiting Thursday Island, so finding some caches while here.

Out here for the day on Thursday Island and had some time before our bus trip to look for a few caches. After letting others search for a while, I joined in too. I am sure they had searched exactly where I did, but I was the lucky one to find this cache.

Visiting TI for the day, skipped the bus tour for a self guided geocache tour instead.

I had a good scramble here but couldn’t spit the cache.

We took the ferry across and back for the day and walked all over the island to find all the caches, except one. Didn't want to miss the ferry home. Interesting history here and lovely spot to visit, but was very windy today. We needed some help here, and found it in the end. TFTC
