Frogs were croaking loudly from a nearby puddle. Great to find a good sized container. Cache and log are good. Headed home after this because it was time to switch on car headlights. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN.
Reperio 07:40Day 6 of our NSW south eastern caching tour, and Master Vitruvius and I today travelled from just outside of the ACT to home in Orange. With a number of caches left to do around Murrumbateman and Yass, we stopped by a few in this area before taking an extended route back home to Orange. Our final day was another fantastic day of caching, with very few caches that went unfound. Gratias DARKSIDEDANAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Gathered the numbers, worked out where I needed to be, and quickly located the container on arrival. Thanks for the cache DARKSIDEDAN
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a week or so in Yass, today we headed out late morning. Fantastic warm weather today, woo hoo! Headed south today looking for caches as we head towards a major milestone.TFTC DARKSIDEDAN

In the area with woolwood9 today. *We soon had the container found at the calculated final GZ!* SL *tm/ww NZ**Thanks for putting this multi-cache out for us to visit*
Worked out the GZ as we travelled to Canberra and now collecting it on our way home to Victoria. SL at 8.46am a decent sized container so left a TB that should be happy to explore NSW. #10,920 TFTMULTI DARKSIDEDAN
Geoturtle37 and I are heading to the Canberra Mega but have some time to spare. As we have been to this general area a few times, we are going to fill in our time with basically, "whichever cache is next closest". Once we had what we needed, to took the short drive to GZ. Far too cold to consider walking anywhere this morning. Thank you for making that possible with the placing of this cache for all to enjoy.
We realised that we had missed this one so we went back, got what was needed, drove to GZ, added our name to the logbook and we are off again. Thanks for the cache.
Took a bit to find (lots of concrete around), but the location where we got the coords was lovely. Found with silverfox1970 and firebatman88 and signed as SFC. TFTC.
Day out in Yass. Got about twenty finds for the afternoon. Signed and. replaced. Tftc
Dropped the geowife off at a nearby party, two hours now to play with! Details gathered and coordinates quickly calculated before making the quick drive out to GZ. A few muggles nearby but was able to make the find, sign and replace without issue. TNLNSL TFTC
Worked out Gz (my head was able to cope with this straightforward computing)and went for a short drive to find this cache...
Out with Joolay, Kittykatch, Aquilus1 and Tankengine. Oops forgot to log this one on the weekend. Straightforwardly worked out and found. Tftc!!!
Out exploring Yass with Joolay, Aquilus1, dty73 and Tankengine. Another fun multi found on our little road trip. Thanks for the hide DARKSIDEDAN
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 Aquilus1 Joolay and KittyKatch ! Thanks DARKSIDEDAN!
Found with baristayan and buckoraider after I found Burden of Sisyphus in Yass as geocache find #10,000. Easy solve in a lovely location and then a quick find at GZ. Nicely sized! TNLNSL. TFTC DSD!
Final stop after a super productive morning on the cache with Baristayan and Mr 10,000 ToyHunters.
Info grabbed in Murrumbateman on the way through earlier this morning, and cache retrieved heading home from Yass. All in great order…thanks!

I was out and about and came across this cache to find, today. I’m slowly finding the caches, east from home. At the moment, I’m mostly focusing on the caches between Binalong and the ACT border. Finding this cache certainly has certainly helped with this mission. As I am catching up with my logging, I’m not exactly sure how long it took to find or remember what type of cache it was but I certainly enjoyed finding it all the same. Also, I have back dated this log to the day I found it. When I signed the cache, **it was either signed as JM or JohnoMawbs**. This was due to the size or amount of space on the logsheet/book. TB visit. I would like to thank the CO of this cache for placing it and for allowing it to bring the Geocaching community enjoyment. TFTC! Unlike stated above I remember this one. I had GZ sorted out months ago but I have not had a chance to find it until now. A nice sized container with plenty of room for swaps. Thanks for another multi-cache, DSD.
Easy solve last night. Quickly located this morning.
Over from New Zealand to attend the Rutherglen Mega. Now heading back to Sydney getting many caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache, DARKSIDEDAN

Find No: 9071. Visiting from Newcastle, heading home from the Rutherglen Mega, enjoying the multitude of caches in the area, replaced logs and containers along the way, thanks for the cache DARKSIDEDAN!!
Had this solved for a while but this is my first opportunity to pull over and find the multi. TFTC DSD
We are visiting Australia from Florida, USA for a multi-week vacation which will have us visiting two states in Australia (Tasmania and the ACT) we missed in 2014 followed by 28 days on the Ovation of the Seas including New Zealand and a Transpacific to Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
Today was our ninth day of the trip, after flying form Hobart to Sydney yesterday afternoon we made the drive to Canberra (Dickson) arriving after sunset. With it being Friday we decided to avoid Capital Hill since we saw a series of challenges and Wherigo caches to the northwest of Yass. We would also manage to do three sets of Adventures Labs in the Yass area and then another three sets with a walk around the CBD before having dinner and calling it a night.
We stopped by the park and gathered the needed info and were happy to see the final was in the direction we were headed. Thanks for a fun multi. tftc!!

Decided to go on a bit of a cache hunt today with ilook4geo even though it promised to be a hot day. We found a good selection with some being very easy to find and some taking more time. This was a nice quick and easy one after getting the new numbers worked out and the log soon had two more names on the list. Thanks go to DARKSIDEDAN for this cache placement.
Shared the find here with goingplaces2 and had no problem with this one. Nice easy multi to work out. All was good with the container and log, which was quickly signed. TFTC.
Teamed up with AngelG27 to hit some more caches around Yass to help get some numbers up After some caching and a cafe stop, we were joined by Seach4 to grab some more and those were signed as A.S.S to save time/space lol
Found the info we needed and then had the calcs sorted nice and quick. Collected on the drive for a quick find [^]

Cache 9848 on 4 Mar 2023.
I am hoping to make the Rutherglen mega event cache number 10,000, so I have a fair few to get between now and then, 181 to be exact. So today SpecimenX and I headed out to Yass again to get some numbers. Happily, Search4 joined us while having some coffee and pastry at Clementine Bakery so we ended up with a mini posse of 3, signing ourselves as A.S.S. for the later caches, which are the initials of our caching names, not us being rude! Okay, maybe a little bit I managed to score 44 for the day before calling it quits. Still so many to find near Yass, I remember a distant past when I had found all the caches in Yass. Thanks to SpecimenX and Search4 for excellent company and cache finding!
Cache found easily and in line with any hints provided. Numbers easily crunched while we went through Murrumbateman.
Thanks DARKSIDEDAN for the cache and the fun!

#3568 Headed out early for this one as was working in Yass. Having previously prepared our coordinates it was a quick stop off at GZ for the find. TFTC DSD!
Trying to catch up with some late logs, prior to the Mega, so some travel bugs can get dropped off. Sorry for the generic log.
Found this hide while staying around the area.
Thanks DARKSIDEDAN for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

After work finished at 830 am. decided to spend the day around Yass and Murrumbateman for a few caches. Soon found the correct plaques and then on to the cache itself by vehicle. TFTC.
Called in here to grab the information, then had to back-track to get to the cache. All good though. Thanks,
After the impromptu gathering we decided to collect some more caches while in the area and had some time to kill which is very rare of late.
Had collected the information for this one awhile ago while passing through but were heading in the wrong direction. So today we decided to pick it up as it was close by.
GZ looks to be used as a dunny, not the most pleasant experience.
Thanks for the multi DARKSIDEDAN

A last hurrah for 2022 caching with The Rats today- into and then out of Canberra on some geotrails. A number of different caches were tackled on a hot day.
We managed to calculate this in the morning and popped back in during the afternoon to make the find.

The end of the week came around and there were a few thing going on in the day. During the morning I went caching out to Murrumbateman with Smitten Granny. We started at the show grounds and then did a few along the highway including one very impressive tree climb. After Lunch a trip to Albury for a specific D/T cache started. Joolay, Kitty Katch & I set off around 2pm and pretty much drove non stop to Albury. There was a little time for a few caches before dinner and one after dinner. Tomorrow will be a walk and a forest explore for several puzzle caches.
This side road yielded a few caches today. There was some gravel storage going on, but not near the caches. First the numbers were collected and then we headed down to the cache. A bit of pooled water to deal with, but the cache was soon found..

#17014 - 17:15:00 PM; After a weekend of caching in and around Whittlesea with Sol de lune and attending the various events associated with the Mega, we made this final stop on our way back home for me to add a multi for the day. Gathered the required information to calculate the final coords on a previous visit, so managed a quick find and sign to wrap up the road trip this evening. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN

After lunch in Murrrumbateman we wanted to complete a multi.
Numbers were crunched and after a short drive the search began in long thick roadside grass.
Not long before the hint was apparent and the cache revealed.
Many thanks again Darksidedan...

We followed a trail of Letterboxes, Challenges, and Traditionals from Yass till we arrived here. We obtained the necessary information, had lunch in Murrumbateman, then travelled here to find the cache.
There were three travel bugs in a bag here, only one of the logged into the cache. I have all three in my possession and will place them in a travel bag hotel in Victoria.
Thanks Darksidedan for adding another different type of cache to our finds today.

There's a long history with this cache hide!
I have actually found this cache TWICE! Both pre-publication! I think I even signed the logbook both times as well, or at least I wrote the title of the cache in the logbook the second time I found it!
The first time I found this cache was when I was caching with the CO, injuryman and Sui_001. We were finding caches on this road and DSD stopped here. But there wasn't a cache on the map?? DSD told us "There should be, I hid one here a while ago!". And indeed there was! So we signed the log and left. This was in early MAY 2022
The CO must of still forgotten about it! Because then in late AUGUST 2022, getting close to 4 months later, I was back near GZ and remembered this cache again! It was still not on my map! So I decided to take matters into my own hands, and take a coordinate reading of GZ & grab some information off the signs for WP1! Signed the log again I believe too, which would of added to the names that Aquilus1 saw dating back several months.
Finally, I sent all this info off to the CO and he got it published, almost 4 months to the day I originally found it and about 6 months after it was originally hidden I believe! Wooo!
Of course after visiting it twice and having to send the info off to the CO as he had lost it, I then also forgot to log it.....! Doh, seems like the theme of this cache is being forgetful! Oh well, my name is right at the front of the book and here is my log!
Thanks DSD

Did the solving last week on a run out to Murrumbateman and now collected on the way back home from a day in Yass. Always nice to collect a multi. Tftc
After a stop and a wander we gathered the required information, sat and did some calculations and then headed off to GZ. Once there we had a couple of different ways of interpreting the clue, happy to say I followed the co-ords and came up with the prize. Signed and replaced and we were on our way.

Out towards Yass on a solo run and this was my first stop. No issues grabbing the required info then it was off to GZ. Grab some details for the other multi as well, although that will required a bit more work. Once at GZ for this one, the cache was quickly in hand.
