This morning trend continues, DNFs 2 out of 2, and now a swooping bird! But the art work is great.
Check out that art. Interesting finds like this is why I'm enjoying this hobby.
What a sad, run down place this is although obviously loved and used. Could do with some TLC. TFTC
Log is soaked as cache is lying in water. Not sure that is where it is supposed to be. I have placed a new log in a plastic bag and returned to container. Placed container higher and covered with natural camouflage . Hope it survives
Cache container is under water, the logbook is that wet that you can't even open it luckily I have a pen that writes on wet paper I have signed BHC to make it easier rather than Bella happy chappy I don't have the extra paper on me currently as normally I would fix the situation but as I'm walking and pulled my logbook out before I have failed to help hopefully the CEO can get out here and fix the situ
A skate park that I have never noticed before. Looking at the area with Google Maps there is a piece of amazing street art painted on the ground which you don't actually notice when on site. Thanks for pointing this area out to me.

A call was put in to Snips and Co and we devised a plan to head to Edwardes Park Lake for the CITO and Cache of the Year nomination events. So we headed here early knowing there was an Ad Lab to do, and a handful of caches to find on the way around the lake.
This find was made during the CITO, and with the help of Kristysadventures & JupiterPearl who had the same idea (multi-task!).
Thanks for the placement here for our enjoyment **Remy**. Cache on ??
**The Cache:** TNLN, signed log as LTEC or Let Them Eat Cache as space would allow. Replaced as found and good to go for the next geocacher.

Getting SideTracked after a couple of events...
But first, one more cache to look for near the lake.
I've ridden and walked through here so often that I was able to direct n0w0rries straight to the nearest gate... and a nice easy find while taking a snap of nearby artwork.
Thanks, Remy.

JupiterPearl and I ventured out for our big trip north of the city.
We were enticed by the CITO, caching awards ceremony, the plethora of newly published caches and a picnic BBQ.
There were many friendly geocachers taking part in the CITO despite the cold windy day.
LetThemEatCache and Snips and Co were also on the rubbish trail that led quite conveniently to this cache.
Shortly the log was signed and we continued on our CITO tasks.

21 May 2023 4:03 pm bunadoorian. After a short walk with Riddell and the obligatory chat we got to GZ to find the cache in the 1st place that we looked. Mr Riddell and I saw the hidey hole almost simultaneously and we had the cache in our hands straight away. TFTC.

After the events in the park today, Crusty K9, Pilot, and I did a lap of the lake to log the adventure lab and a couple of trads. It's a very pleasant walk, and very popular with the locals.
We had no issue with muggles at this location, and the log was quickly signed and rehidden.
Thanks Remy (rem09876)

There was a short window between events so I walked up the hill for this one in the gap. Our 14th cache find in this park, with the first way back in 2005. Thanks from D & HA B-A

We were at two events nearby, so we decided to do these caches. The geoboy made a quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Found by Mary and David at 14:20. A quick find after the Events, and it will have many visitors today. A few turned up just as we were leaving. Our thanks to rem09876.
Found with Surefoot24 and Cathlud after CITO and event today. A lovely lake to stroll around. Cache was quick find. TFTC
The skate park occupies a good deal of space here. The cache can be found with a bit of cover. Today there was a bit of a crowd around due to Geocaching Victoria events in the park. Nice quick find. Thanks for maintaining it
A fun day of caching and events with Geoturtle37, pwala and crank1.
After the cito and event, we drove around to here to add our names to the logbook.

One last find after attending the CITO and COTY nominations events.
Some nice artwork on the building.
Quickly found by nirgalagrin.
Stamped and replaced for the next finders.
CeeJayDenno and PrezDough arrived as we were about to drive away.

While I was at the lake for a couple of events, I headed off on a walk around the lake to do the AdLabs but made a slight detour to this one as it is a new one since I was here last.
This one certainly had a bit of traffic today.

Award nomination and CITO event day had arrived and I messaged Fleabag to see what he was doing to get here and he said he was leaving early so I headed off by myself and found a few caches on the way. After the event we made our way via quite a few caches back towards home and ended up finishing about 5pm.
This one I walked over to between the end of the CITO and the start of the BBQ. Nice quick find once there.
Thanks opted-out user for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Today I confirmed my multitasking prowess. LTEC and I are busy picking up rubbish for the CITO we are attending when we "spy" loads of rubbish just up by the skate park. Let's collect that! Oh, and guess what, the rubbish just happened to have us in the vicinity of this cache. Lucky us. The rubbish also attracted another CITO team, Kristys Adventures and Jupiter Pearl. Lovely to meet them both, a quick chat and we were on our way again.
Thanks Remy (rem09876)

I had come to [Edwardes Lake Park](https://www.darebin.vic.gov.au/events-and-facilities/parks-and-playgrounds-directory/edwardes-lake-park) today in order to attend [GeocachingVictoria's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=5381f41f-c082-4a07-a4e5-9610ef6949fe&wid=88cb1d30-3b86-4f74-88c0-1d821fecee2a&ds=2) [Edwardes Lake Park CITO (GCA69WH)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA69WH_edwardes-lake-park-cito) event and the [2022 Cache of the Year Award Nominations & BBQ (GCA69WK)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA69WK) event.
However, with the [CITO (GCA69WH)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA69WH_edwardes-lake-park-cito) ending at 12:30, and the [BBQ (GCA69WK)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA69WK) not starting until 1:00, I had a bit of time to kill.
So what should a cacher do with a bit of time to kill.....
Cache of course! I decided I would try and work on the nearby AdLab and find a few caches along the way.
Well I ran into [AlphaDeltaIndigo](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=0ba730b9-9e40-49fd-8cda-13d33706860b) at [80degrees'](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=def24f7d-b860-469f-9924-b920c15bf5b7&wid=be9d3fee-01c5-4fdb-a77c-200fae96bb57&ds=2) [An A2 Engine (GC2FY36)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC2FY36) and we decided to team up for that cache and the rest of the ones around the lake.
This one was our third stop. We arrived at GZ and noticed some nearby playing muggles, so we had to use a bit of stealth when we approached this one. Our initial quick search left us empty handed, but it was only a minute later before [AlphaDeltaIndigo](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=0ba730b9-9e40-49fd-8cda-13d33706860b) pointed at something that looked a bit suspicious, and then another minute later and the cache was in hand.
A big thanks goes to [Remy (rem09876)](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=7c07965e-84ac-40fe-834b-8fa2695adeae&wid=1f9afbdb-f334-45b5-b1d1-adeadff5b659&ds=2) for the fun today. TFTC.
**Cache Maintenance Status**
The cache container was in ok shape and the logbook was clean and dry with some room for future cache finders to sign.

There were quite a few muggles around but none close enough to be of any concern. Thanks for the cache.
There was a dad here practicing soccer with a couple of young boys as well as a few others participating in various sports. None of them caused us any concern so a quick find was made. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
After attending a CITO and another event in the park my friends, surefoot24 and TanSaf, were eager to find a few caches nearby. It was a long walk, via a few AdLab waypoints, but eventually we got here and as the others were admiring the mural I spotted something that didn't appear right. Sure enough on closer examination it revealed the cache.
Thank you Remy for this cache.

Hanging out with my caching buddy Morcs4 who got me into caching. We were here for the CITO and the 2023 Geocaching Award Nominations BBQ and decided to tackle the caches around Edwardes Lake afterwards to try and warm up after standing around in the wind for too long.
We had two geokids in tow who thought this skate park was very cool, only wishing they had their bikes to try out the ramps and jumps. Us geomums enjoyed the artwork around the buildings and the talents of the artists that have brought so much colour to this area.
Other caches had already found the cache so we signed the logbook and placed it back in its hiding spot for the next finders.
Thanks Remy for bringing us here.

It’s been a few years since I did the first couple of caches in this park. Today we were here for a CITO and geocaching event and after those I determined to clean up the others in the park in conjunction with the Adventure Labs. It was the first long walk I’ve done for quite a few years. CathLud, Tan SAF and I set out to do “The Lap”. With three pairs of eyes looking we found this cache pretty quickly and took a photo of our team to celebrate our find. It might also be used for an online monthly challenge.
Found with PrezDough as we wanted to finish off this little series around the parklands.
We soon located where we thought it was and heard a voice yell out “what are you doing?”.
Ah, NoWorries and Nirgalagrin parked up nearby having previously found it.
We had a quick chat and then decided to hit the road.
Thanks for this one.
We had fun.
I visited 3 TB.

It was dusk, with teenagers hanging about the skatepark.

Out with a echidna44 heading home after attending a CITO in the morning. This one has us guessing quite a while as we had a group of young lads hoverng around on their bikes.

I thought coming to this one would be easier at dusk under the cover of darkness, turns out the street lights light up the entire area! No need for torches! Tftc!
Heading to the CITO event at Coburg, I thought I would leave early and collect a few geocaches. However 6 am clearly was not early enough as it still took me 2 hours to get here. Only got 2 geocaches before the event, not as many as I wanted. However 1 was an DT in an Earthcache that I needed.
Buzzing from the delicious coffee at the first event, I drove here and quickly worked out some Way Points for the Multicaches here. Then it was time for the CITO. Amazing what can be achieved my a number of geocaches in just 1 hour while all having a great chat.
After the event I came to this area, which is in a LGA that I need more geocaches in for a challenge. Glad there was no one onsite at the skate park, as this meant I could just search, not worrying about anyone. It was a bit wet but still signable. Had a snail guardian too.

I caught up with Posums at the pub for a delayed meal to celebrate his birthday. He had spoken before of his challenges in getting this cache because it was always filled with muggles doing their tricks. I agreed to head out to grab it with him post dinner as I had also not attempted it yet.
This area used to be full of netball courts and the whistles and half time sirens would ring out across Edwardes Lake Park on a Saturday morning as all of the local teams competed. I’m not sure what happened or where they have moved too, but the “skate park” is almost a bit of an eyesore now.
The cache was in place and we were able to sign it.

I was in the area for a catch up with Roaming Howie and I picked this one up after a nice tea at the local pub.
This was the third time coming here as I had been muggled out on the other 2 occasions and I also noticed that it had been disabled today but I was not going to let that stop me from finding it as I was not sure when I would be back over this way.
The area has definitely changed a lot since I worked in the area over 17 years ago and the artwork sure looks great.
Sorry I didn’t have a log to suit the cache.
Thanks Remy (rem09876) TFTC.

Thanks for the cache, I was looking on the wrong side of the fence for a while but the helpful hint led me in the right direction. Also, the new logbook that little blue wren had left there a couple of days ago was a little damp.
Sorry - it does leak. The log book is wet.

Away for the weekend with our bffs and came for a walk to this awesome park? Thanks for placing this cache
A quick and easy find while at the skatepark. TFTC! Log dry too which was surprising.
Catching up on some very old logs before the Rutherglen Mega. Found while staying in the area over the Christmas/New Year when needed for a souvenir.
An easy enough find once at GZ but happy to pick it up quickly but the log was very wet and hard to sign.
Thanks for placing this hide for us to find.

Today I did a check up and I found out logbook is nearly full and I will soon as possible and the council is currently working on the skate park but it’s still available. You just have to go around all the trucks.

I'd been muggled here a bit earlier with a van parked almost in line with the cache with the engine running so I mosied on over to its neighbour further up the creek for a look. With that job done, it was back to this one and with the coast clear this time, a quick squiz at the hint soon had me signing the log at 16:05.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks again Alm2019.

There was a chap at this location up a ladder doing some maintenance Fortunately the cache was out of his line of sight. Great spot for a cache.
Suscoe was having a day out in Melbourne before heading to a music concert this evening.
The weather was still in this cold and rainy Summer mode.
It was an enjoyable day to be out and about with reasonable traffic to deal with.
Thanks to Remy_(rem09876) for this hide. A nice spot for a hide.

Wandering around and looking for caches today while waiting for the partner to finish a meeting fairly nearby. Spotted this hide pretty quickly and not long after I picked the cache up, a couple of council workers almost muggled me. I ended up having to walk off with the cache in my pocket and watch from a distance for them to leave. TFTC Remy
I surprisingly found it in under five minutes it was in a place I could never expect until I used to help. Thank you so much for putting this here was a lot of fun!
