Found after a quick look round tree, then checked the close by shrub. Overcast but not too bad today Thanks Freddo for the cache
We are heading home to Vic after a road trip to WA. We are targeting some multi caches along the way today. Its some kind of miracle, maybe because it was a Church, that I got this wherigo cartridge to work and got the coordinates. GZ was found without any problems. It's good to find another 'Used 2B a Church' cache today
Find number 14508 at 9:49:38am on Tuesday the 22 October 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Well, WA Goes Big is done for another year and we are on our way home again now, via Perth, Kalgoorlie and the Nullarbor but slowly over the next five weeks Today we headed off from Peterborough on our way to Burra via Jamestown grabbing a few more local geocaches as we go.A quick solve and find this morning **Thanks for placing this cache Freddo**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Making our way from Broken Hill and Mundi Mundi Bash towards Perth ever so slowly. Today we stopped in Hallett for lunch and noticed this cache on our Navigator so whilst lunch was made by Mr Felix, Mrs Felix downloaded the cartridge then we set about finding your cache.TFTC Freddo the Non Believer
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 6 - Morgan to Jamestown via Burra and Hallett. After a fun day around Morgan yesterday, it was time to move on. A very cold night last night. I did a few roadside caches along the way, but I spent most of my caching day around Burra. I have done quite a bit of caching in Burra before, but it was great to see a wonderful collection of caches to be attempted today. I even managed two sets of Labs, including a good walk around the mine site. As I headed over to Jamestown, there were a few caches that drew attention to the huge wind farms on all of these ridge lines. My last cache ended up pretty much being where I stopped to camp for the night. Into town for dinner tonight.I did not see anything that looked like a church for this one, maybe I was looking in the wrong direction. The Cartridge worked and gave me a GZ which took me to a nearby location and a cache to be found. Thanks for the cache Freddo46470.15 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2013 Compass Rose Ehecatl A#272**Albida**
Picked up Detofinbars and headed to Burra for lunch and beers with a mate that I played cricket against over 30 years ago. He's currently on holidays visiting his parents and relatives. Picked him up and he joined us and learned about geocaching, as well as a magnificent, guided tour and history of the Burra area after a great lunch. With little or no internet, we still manage to get a few caches around the town. We also got a few on the way there and home. Overall a fantastic day was had. TFTCHad a great laugh and a bit of swearing after finally sorting this type of Whereigo out.
Last night fitzy_1965 and I stayed at my cousin's place. We, like the rest of the household, were up and on the road early. Our plan was to attend the Mega site, target a D5/T5 cache type that we missed last Feb 29, and then head as far North as we could collecting counties along the way.We ended up in Wilmington at a great pub/hotel and were very thankful for the new air con!__________________________We managed to jag a park right outside the Mega site carpark....couldn't have planned that if we tried! Now we are off to collect oldies & counties as whatever inbetween. All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Now we are headed North finding oldies and nice D/T's. This was one of them.
34,276. Found with minniek during our trip to The Great Leap Forward Mega Event in Adelaide on 29th February 2024.Day 3 : After staying overnight at minniek's cousin's place, we headed into town this morning for the main event - literally. After lots of planning and driving we were finally here ! After the fun of the Mega was over, we cherrypicked a few caches in town, then headed north County hunting. This was the next cache - which actually wasn't on our list but we couldn't go past it. A quick find once at GZ. We stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then went on to the next one. Thanks Freddo !!
as we wander through the land, grabbing caches and seeing the sights even occasionally catching up with friends A good day was had while grabbing these caches with lots of miles covered Thanks for placing them *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Something special or unusual goes here:One final one when passing by to have a short break. A nice quick find here. The Generic Bit:QOGM adventure - I was able to catch a ride with Muff1 who were heading to the QOGM event and team up for 3 weeks of caching adventures. 3 weeks in a swag - will my back hold out[?]Days 18 to 21 : QOGM is over . It took 11 days to cache our way up here from South Australia but I need to be back in just four for my lad's birthday and an specialist appointment. [^] So it was time to say goodbyes, put our CITO bag in the bin and hit the roads home. We made some time for the new lab caches and a couple of caches we were passing on the way out and along the way but otherwise it was averaging over 500 kms per day to keep the schedule. Here are the caches we made some time for. **SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks Freddo for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
The three of us were heading to Broken Hill for the weekend, and stopped here for a rest stop and a cache.
Mr Tardis found the cache in the first place he looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
After finding a few Used2B nanos, it was a relief to find this one, which is approximately 40 times larger than a nano.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Freddo the Non Believer

Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Thanks Freddo
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Today, we are exploring beautiful Burra and some of the surrounding countryside. I must say that wherigos are not my fave, ut, thanks for the cahe Freddo.
Freddo and Team Waldron headed to warmer climes around Broken Hill, Cobar, Bourke, Cunnamulla
and Charleville.
After a cold start in Broken Hill the weather improved once we got further north. Sadly our last night in Broken was wet which, pardon the pun, put a dampener on things.
All up it was a great week away and lots of caches were found with only 3 dnfs.
Thanks to all who placed and maintained their caches. The occasional cache was damaged and we refurbished it and we also left new logbooks as required.
Another short stop on our journey north.

After making my way up to Caroona Creek Comservation Park yesterday and camping the night there my main goal of the day was to make the walk through Tourilie Gorge finding cache with 4.5 years unloved followed by the rest of the day finding caches around the mid north yet to be found before making my way back to Adelaide.
Thanks for the cache

Wherigos Are not my favourite caches, but I managed to get this one to work and to give me the coordinates. After that it was a fairly straightforward find. TFTC.
A quick day out and a few caches along the way to clean up the map.
How did the church of England manage to go from gothic stone masterpieces to besser blocks over time... [:o)] churches 100s of years old have survived better than this style!
Another wherigo with the answer "Cat Worship", such an honour of course
Easily found Mr Hurtle's replacement. Fishing tackle far from home! Fishing is very biblical.
Many blessings for the cache placement and ongoing care and maintenance Freddo .

Country, Coffee, Cats, Champagne, Chocolate, and Caching...
Careful caching as always, wherever we go.
It's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away
--------
Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp )
----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now...
... until next time!

GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... be there or be backward!
29.2.24 It's gone MEGA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A quick stop to grab the coordinate, then a short drive to GZ where an even quicker find was made.
I found this D1.5/T1.5 Wherigo on 16/10/2022 at 12:56. It was find #15675 for me. Thanks Freddo for placing and maintaining this for us to enjoy in the wonderful state of South Australia.

A used 2B fun run was had today. A slide into the zone soon gave up the information needed, then the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Joint *FTF* with FeatherWaite as we travelled back to Adelaide after a trip across the northern Simpson Desert.
We completed the wherigo cartridge and then headed to GZ for a quick find.
Thanks Freddo for the cache.

Joint *FTF* with e.gregory1 on our way back from a trip up north. Interesting structure here - they don't make churches like they Used2. Thanks for the wherigo cache Freddo!
