A fan of tea and a fan of fun funky tea cosiesSo I googled this Tea Cosy Festival and declared Ill get here for it some day. Luckily but predictably I jumped on trusty treadles to ride some of the trail in the time I hadyes, plenty of arty distractions in Fish Creek to locate some caches not yet found. Last time it was misty soggy and dampmemorable but today is rather glorious and the trail is quiet. In Leongatha on another mad multi mission aka dash to visit a geobuddies and find a few caches that have been on my list, and thats apart from hearing the CO goes to some trouble to ensure our caching days have a fun element. A fun for the colour and smiles.
Im out with CO, kbucky for a days caching on the pushbike and doing some of her rail trail series. We are in the area on our annual motorbike trip and I put the pushbike on the backup vehicle so I could use it on our lay day. It is perfect weather after a very windy day yesterday. Another great container. Sign log and we have finished this trail, now off to the bonus
What a gorgeous cache A lovely surprise Camping at Foster and Corner Inlet for a few weeks TFTC SL
A cup of tea at the picnic shelter across the road, and we were primed to find this relevant cache. Thanks Kbucky for the effort you put into all of your caches!
We had intended to walk a fair bit of this trail but the weather was conspiring against us.By the time we got to our first one, we were already soaked. (The things you do for a find)Despite our wetness, we still admired and giggled at the creative container that we found.A favourite point from us.Thanks kbucky for all of the caches you have placed around here which have added to our enjoyment of the area.Chiefton!!!
Found with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy after a night with a mate in Foster. Super quick find, and what a cute and appropriate container. Adding another fave, thanks again kbucky
Found with my favs Bogonghazy and Geo dog. On our way home from a lovely weekend in Foster visiting a friend. Thanks for placing the geocache
I had a great time riding an e-bike today and came back to finish off all except one. I enjoyed solving many different puzzles. fav from me. Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache kbucky.
Decided to come back again to ride ebike to finish the rest of this series. Enjoyed it with nice cool weather with few rains in the morning. Found it and thanks kbucky for placing this cute cache
A perfect summers day, so Geoturtle37 and I decided it was about time to get back on the scooters to finish off the SC to FC series. GT went one way, but then spotted it on the other side, where I went for the retrieval. Cute! Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, kbucky ~~
We decided to head out on our scooters again today to attempt to finish this trail, which we did. Last time, we ran out of time so today we set off reasonably early to make sure we had a good chance. This was the first, which was found nice and quickly. Very cute. Thanks for the cache, the series and bringing us down here to enjoy the trail.
16:29A great day out on two wheels with the boys - pprass & maccamobAn unserviceability with a powered device meant that, for us, it was back to the self powered method of transportation. Log signed as 'MPP'.Thanks to kbucky for hiding caches in interesting locations. 36358
Found by David with pprass and phetlern while our wives went shopping, at 16:29. The last in the series. Another beverage dispenser with no hot water. Now on in to FC for the Bonus and some Ad Labs. Our thanks to kbucky.
Found at 4:30 PM in the company of maccamob & phetlern.Another cache that we were wondering how it has survived! Thanks to kbucky
This year we headed to Cape Paterson to stay a few days over new years and had a nice stay at this beach location I had not been to before. Plenty of people around but that is expected at this time of year. After hearing this trail mentioned on the puzzle facebook group a little while ago I didn't think I would be here any time soon but I was surprised to see the family booked a holiday at the last minute this year only a 45 minute drive away so I came over here and started at the Fish Creek end and was only going to find a few and head back but I enjoyed the trail so much I kept on going for a bit longer even though I was supposed to be back for lunch ... that didn't happen. This was a nice quick find to start off with. Thanks kbucky for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Second of a couple while on our stroll along the rail trail today after waiting out a passing rainstorm or two. Once at GZ, I was expecting something a bit different but that expectation was dashed when I spotted the stash at 12:40. Nice one. TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks kbucky.
The intent this morning, was to find somewhere to explore on a beautiful winters day and grab some caches along the way.
After umming and ahhhing over where to start, decided to give this trail a go, and so glad to have done so!
First stop on the trip from Fish Creek to Stony Creek to see how many could be found along the way.
Walked straight past it initially, heading all the way down to the road, before heading back up to find the very cute, and aptly named cache!
Log signed and everything replaced as found. TFTC, and looking forward to this trail!

Today I decided to go for a ride with ahomburg and knight_shift. I got to babysit the bikes (and my scooter) while the others arranged car shuffling. Finally they arrived and it was time to get caching!!
Thanks for the awesome caches, kbucky

Find #13739
Headed out today for an Anzac Day bike ride with beckNmonts and Knight_shift. It was a perfect autumn day, sun was shining, the birds were singing and there were caches to find.

Terrific. What a delightful surprise for our first catch on this trail. TFTC.
Found with gwd.aussie
Had packed the bikes and leaving the car and camper trailer at Fish Creek aimed to complete the series to at least to Buffalo. In most cases the finds were left to gwd.aussie who is way more fitter than myself.
By the end of the day the idea of going electric was looking appealing.
Thanks kbucky

Good omen, finding a great container so close to a town.
Must not be any bad muggles around the area
We left the 4x4 & camper at Fish Creek, and took the bikes to make these finds.
Out caching with D@geo
Thank you for the hide kbucky

#20734. Well here we are back in Fish Creek - our last visit was back in June 2020 in the short window of opportunity during the COVID pandemic.
With bicycles and dogs in their tagalong trailer the ride between FC and Meeniyan was definitely on the agenda. We started on the Saturday afternoon but gave up at the Chinese Whispers cache before returning to our hosts. Started again on Monday with a full ride of 38km and managing to gather up most of the caches. We had 4 DNFs also, despite a couple of visits each time.
Our first of this series and finally spied the cute container and added our names to the log. Reckon this was one of the easier finds of the series.
Thanks kbucky

Down to Fish Creek to visit some friends, and BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I squeezed in a bit of time on the deadly treadlies to have a look at the SC to FC series.
We did some on the Saturday afternoon, and most of the rest on the Monday.
Lovely weather for a ride and cache.
We had just heard about the Tea Cosy Festival and the entry into the Guinness Book of Records, so this was a good start.
Nice container.
Thanks for this series, Robmc.

Back out this morning to finish some unfinished caching business. Once again I overestimated my stamina and after 14+km and 5 hours of walking I had to call it a day. Once again a great mixture of caches, Buffalo to Fish Creek for now has been completed.
We did this series back to front today and went from Fish creek to Buffalo. Even though the weather is certainly not the best today, we decided that every day is a caching day and went on our way.
This was a cute first cache to find on a very rainy day!

With a break in the recent hot weather, plans were made to tackle this new series with Rebel Acts and Ski pair.
It has been many months since I have been on a bike and by the end of our adventure my butt certainly was not happy.
The day was filled with much laughter and stories about past caching triumphs. I really enjoyed this series especially the field puzzles.
My logs for this series will be cut and paste, I really don't want to give anything away about this outstanding series.
Great work kbucky, can't wait for your next series.
All logs signed with a team name.

We found a pair of shoes at this one. Nobody about, and no one had jumped from the bridge! Shoes didn't fit any of us either!
Found the cache quickly though!
At Rebel Act's Community Celebration Event in Warragul recently there was much talk about a new series of caches on the rail trail between Stony Creek and Fish Creek. Till then we had been unaware of their release so after a quick look we hatched a plan to visit the area today and try our luck.
None of us had been on bikes in recent times, but there was plenty of enthusiasm and an air of anticipation. New caches seem to be rare anywhere near our area.
The trail has flat areas and undulations but is in great condition for riding, but most of us did have sore bums by the time we made it to Fish Creek.
This is a great series with plenty of good-sized caches and hides thought out. The field puzzles were a treat and although we took quite some time on a few really added to the experience. Great fun!
Congratulations and well done to kbucky for an excellent well thought out series.
As usual we teamed up with our good mate Rebel Acts, but also had Omegaman71 joined us which added further to the usual banter and ribbing that adds to the hunt. Great people to cache with!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache kbucky.

With my phone pinging constantly, we now knew the whereabouts of 999Hunter and Tiz13 and they knew ours. Apologies to Stammily as nobody mentioned you too were in the race. As we know Hunter & Tiz, it had now turned into a fun competition to outwit, outsmart and outplay each other in this high stakes game for the race for FTF’s.
We immediately headed to the end of the line, traversing through some long grass, without a care of potential snakes. That’s how focused we were to quickly find this cache. Found it we did, but not so quickly and the blank log made up for some of the stress this day has turned into. [FTF] write note posted and we were going to call it a day………….somehow that didn’t happen.
An incredible amount of work, ingenuity and thought has been put into this series and the geocaching community are going to love you for it. Thank you kbucky.

We saw these published this morning, and wow, what a delightfully large amount of caches published relatively close to our home! We rallied the kids, dusted off the bikes and headed out for the day.
It was lovely to meet some other folk out ‘n ‘about, particularly Tiz13 with whom we shared some FTF’s. Of course Hunter999, Night Shift and Smokey Bears were on the case too.
We were thrilled to find all 38 caches in the series, especially our namesake cache. The field puzzles were a particular highlight and worthy of more favourite points than we have left to give out.
An absolutely huge amount of effort has gone into the planning, preparation and placement of this series and we are so appreciative to Kbucky for all your efforts. We are lucky to have you in our area!

I had heard whisperings of this new trail from the CO who I have cached with on a handful of occasions and it just happened to finally come out so plans were made with both my regular caching mates Ski Pair and Omegaman1971 to head down and do the entire trail. Just getting here was fun with a road block that Google Maps thought I could drive straight trough, this led to a detour and a back track to finally get over the hills and onward to the start of the trail. We had plenty of laughs along the trail as we found the quality caches on offer, despite the frustration of some tricky ones we managed to find and work them all out.
My mum collects tea pots so this one gets a FAV
Thanks kbucky for the cache, I appreciate the work that went into this trail.
