Reperio 20:46Up early again this morning for a full day of caching around the Yass and Goulburn area, and fortunately the rain that hung around all day yesterday had mostly passed by. While the ground was still pretty wet, most of the caches were found in good order, which contributed to another great day caching in the area.Gratias fitzy_1965As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Found by Mary and David at 13:30. A howling gale and heavy traffic made this an "interesting" find. Guardian dead 'roo. Our thanks to my_name_jeff_1.
Added this cache to the list while on the road with ilook4geo. It was a nice quick and easy find and both names were soon added to the log. Thanks for the cache placement go to my_name_jeff_1.

A fun day out with friends caching and hiking. Not often that I get to spend whole day out, and driven around to enjoy the views. Lovely and quiet at GZ today but the highway was extremely busy and fast going. Quick find and return. TFTC my_name_jeff_1.

To make this a full long weekend of events, I had decided to head out to Goulburn to attend the midday CITO there. Before that I went un the Hume highway a bit and did some Periodic table caches and the caches new and old at Towang on both sides of the highway. There was rain about, but I did not get too wet while out of the car.
Thanks for the cache my_name_jeff_1

On our way to Goulburn for a caching afternoon and the geokids were starting to get restless. Opened the geocaching app and this cache was 1 km down the road couldn't resist pulling in a collecting it.
Quick find once we got to GZ. One kid complained about the noise while the other braved spider webs to retrieve it. Log in great condition, signed and returned to its hiding position.

Day3
So many new caches since we were here last, so headed out today, caching via Currawong Road, Challenge caches & Perodic table caches we targeted. We had two detours from a flooded creek, so didn't do as many as expected.
Thanks for placing your cache.

We are travelling down from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Canberra for a 6 day (5 night) holiday, staying in a park cabin at Alivio Tourist Park in O'Connor, and planning to explore the areas around Lake Burley Griffin, old & new Parliament House’s, the Australian War Memorial, Questacon, the Carillion, Black Mountain, Mount Ainslie, and areas around Canberra Airport and maybe out around the Kowen Forest if time permits. Have solved most of the CBR Wherigo Puzzle series and numerous other Mystery/Puzzle caches, so will hopefully get to some of those, and will do some of the Adventure Labs, Virtuals, and EarthCaches in the areas we visit. Photos will be uploaded to logs after our return to home base. This was the 11th of 23 finds for the day (day 1), and 11th find of the holiday.
Continuing down the highway to Canberra and this was the next cache we came to, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC my_name_jeff_1.

minniek and I have helped my_name_jeff_1 plan, place and publish these Periodic Table of the Elements Series of caches.
Now that they have been published and found, I am claiming a find. I hope everyone enjoys the series and the different types of hides. There will be a couple of puzzles at the end.
