Accio 07:12:32Down to Melbourne to escort my mum to hospital - giving me significant free time for a couple of days. What to do? LGA hunting my primary goal, but first things are first ... morning coffee. As I was staying nearby, walked here for breakfast, and my first Melbourne cache for this trip. All very quiet at this hour and a beautiful city morning - perfect for lying on the cement in a couple of spots - as you do! Clue collected as I have high hopes of finishing with the night cache. Thanks jupiterpearl for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12891t}*
Cache find 162 Finally after 4 tries we have achieved this geo cache well hidden and sneaky on this beautiful day we were searching high and low left and right and now we have found TFTC jupiterpearl
I had been avoiding this geocache as I'm not a fan of hunting for geocaches in urban populated areas. However I do want to find the clue to help with the final. As such, I have finished avoiding this one and came here when I thought it would be quiet. Not a lot of people in the area as it is too early for dinner. The hardest part of this find, was trying to work out when my GPSr was pointing with the GPS signal bouncing off all the buildings, and waiting for the local chef to stop staring at me while he had his cigarette. Eventually one settled down, and the other had finished his fag and stopped looking at me long enough for me to quickly spot the cache with my phone and grab it. After signing the log, he had gone and I returned it as found. Thanks for the cache Jupiter Pearl.Hunter
Spent a while looking but still couldnt find it again the 2.5 difficulty rating is definitely respectable hopefully third times the charm
Looked at GZ for the Cache. Looked under tables and chairs, I was asked by a muggle if I was looking for something. I told them I think I dropped my glasses somewhere (I came to realise I had left them at home) I looked and looked. Not going to give a DNF or a SNAFU. Im going to have this as an FI.Although some idea on what kind of a cache Im looking for would help if you could message me. I keep looking for a systema container.
Thanks for the adventure! Found this one relatively quickly, although I had to use an/a (insert tool here that would make the location obvious) to find it. Logbook about 2/3 full. Thanks!
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Wt. Wet logbook so we photo it.
Hot & blustery this afternoon. Any muggles are just passing through. Initial search was way off the mark, but as I circled, GZ contracted and the hide revealed. TFTC
13:58A jaunt on the rails after meeting some Italian visitors at Fed Square... the skies were threatening to open up, but it was fine misty drizzle while I out-waited the worker emptying the bins before I could check where my guess led me.And sure enough...Cheeky, jupiterpearl.#8170
I like caching at night. Speaking with Lynjoh recently, the TMMN series caught my interest. This evening, John and I called by here and were lucky enough to find the area almost deserted. As John had previously signed the log, it was up to me to locate it. Without having to bother about muggles, I soon had it in hand. With the clue noted and the log signed, we continued on our mission. Thanks for your work here, jupiterpearl.
Set off this afternoon for a quick geo-tour around the racecourse with geo-nephew. This one took some hunting but eventually I found the right location and the cache. TFTC!
After 20 minutes of nearby muggles suspiciously looking at me, decided to call it quits - will come back at another time when the area is less densely populated,

As I was driving along, heading to somewhere else, I realised that I wasn't far from this one so I took a short break in my trip to have a look for it.
I went in to coles first to get some supplies, after exiting, I took a seat to munch on a bakery item, just so happens that without moving, I was able to grab the cache, sign the log and replace it, once I had finished my morning tea, it was time to grab one more.
**Thanks to jupiterpearl for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

An extremely challening cache with the location bouncing all over the place. FOund this one by luck rather than skill today I suspect.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today.
Thanks jupiterpearl for the cache.

After finishing work early today it was great to catch up with Rebel Acts and put some smiles on the map.
Unfortunately not to many caches due to the rain but still enjoyed the one's we did.
Cheers for the cache.

Out caching in the Bentleigh area with xambo4u, this one was on the way.
The GPS bounced around a bit, but we used our geo-sense to find the well hidden cache. Thanks jupiterpearl.

Out the back with the echidna44 for a long time no cacheing. Nice easy parking today and not many people about. Arrow bounced around a little but logic prevailed and it was quickly in hand.
A quick sign off and we were on our way. Thanks for the cache jupiterpearl

Didn't really have the opportunity for a proper look because 6 people in the courtyard had spaced themselves out so that there was no chance of searching anywhere without being too close to at least one of them. Also, the tall buildings around here almost render the GPSr useless as the signals bounce around them and it is then like a city cache and it could have been anywhere.
I am so disappointed not to have found this. Myself and my Mam spent a lot of time trying to unearth this cache but to no luck. Its time to admit defeat I'm afraid!!
Check today cache is still there - got

Our GPSrs were bouncing all over the place and too many muggles around.

Sis (LTEC) and I (MM17 for short) out on a beautiful Melbs day picking up a few caches. This one was tricky and not easy to find, lots and lots of muggles (well we were there in the middle of the day…d’uh). Finally found it with some stealth mode on and critical thinking. Well placed, thanks
I picked up my sis (mummymac17) for a few hours of caching fun, and headed here after walking the tunnel at the nearby racecourse.
This development wasn’t even in planning mode last time I was here so it was a huge surprise to see how many apartments, shops (& SEATS!) were in the space. I must admit to PAF (thanks @horror.fan.jm) as the GPS was quite jumpy and there were a few muggles enjoying their lunch. Armed with the localised area where we should focus our attention, we came away with the goods and the requisite numbers for the noctivagant expedition
Thanks to the CO for placing for our enjoyment. Looking forward to doing the other two in the series soon, jupiterpearl. Cache on

Hi jupiterpearl,
I found your cache GCA228N PLAZA (CAUFIELD) CACHE- TMMN SERIES today, Monday the 20 Mar 2023 at 2:00 pm.
It was cache find number 7,731 for me.
I'm out on the hunt as it's PamJ's sewing group day at our house today.
When I arrived there was someone sitting where I wanted to be, so I took the opportunity to grab a coffee, and when I got back, the coast was clear.
Nicely hidden, and in great condition.
Thanks jupiterpearl, for giving back to the game.

Catching up wfor an afternoon caching run witgh GJMMelb, we headed to this next cache of a tight cluster nearby. G&J were already at GZ when I arrived (having found & logged one they had already found) . We set to work and I checked one place but didn't find anything obvious. More places checked - trying to avoid muggle attention... Checking the GPS map again I revisted a place I thought I had checked over before but - oh! - a sneaky cache hide that had evaded me was eventually retrieved, logged and rehidden (carefully to get the orientation right) Later on we realised we might need information from this cache to another but thankfully G had a photo of the cache/hide. TFTC
We met up with quiet1_au for an arvo of caching, this was the next spot. GMelb dropped J off and went to find parking and q1 arrived from a different direction. It was a little busy but not too bad so we were hunt around reasonably well. q1 was the one to put his hands on the cache. Info taken, log sigend and replaced.

Arriving at GZ we thought that this cache might be an issue - muggles walking through the area as while as sitting at nearby tables. We tried to search without causing any attention to our activities. I altered my search location as the GPSr device settled down and then spotted something - the cache with required information. Now on to the next in the series. Thanks to jupiterpeal for the cache.
There must be something about Sunday nights/early Monday mornings that I find myself not sleeping and I end up out in public spaces searching for caches for the umpteenth time. And now logging it precisely 7 days later. My caching bad habits. It turns out my 1 metre away Iphone position was more like 5 metres away.
I wandered around a garden bed continuing to search, even getting down so low as to stick my head under things. It was after 1am, I wouldn't have done that during daytime hours. It was my eyes that ended up spotting this cache as it didn't quite happen via feel. It must have been just the right angle and enough illumination (it was dark after all) that I could've sworn I saw numbers through a gap. Why were there numbers there? Oh yeah!...
Once I had the cache in hand, a part of my brain must not have believed it as I put my hand back where I had just gotten the cache from, what for, another feel around? I have no idea.
It was definitely the cache. There was a log strip. I signed it. And the numbers that I saw too. I took a pic of them. I returned the cache and got the hell out of there.
Thanks for bringing me here six times jupiterpearl.

Out and about with Muggle Husband, it took quite a while for the gps to settle and point me to where I needed to be. Fortunately it was a very quiet day here which gave me plenty of time to sniff out the cache. Fantastic hide but I found it in the end.
An awesome hide! We looked at it first but thought nothing of it we had a look around for another 10 minutes before coming back to it and there it was. TFTC
Had a bit of trouble but with help eventually made the find. And my GPS was on zero! Excellent concealment, a favourite from me.
Thanks for placing the cache jupiterpearl.

Tonight I had plenty of time up my sleeve so I headed out to a couple of these new ones.
I arrived here without having had dinner which was perfect timing because there were a couple of muggles sitting close to where I needed to be.
So I ordered the cheapest burger (still $13.50), it was ok but needed something extra which I suppose is why it was the cheapest one.
Anyway just as a received my dinner the muggles left and after a couple of quick looks I spotted it in the 2nd place I looked.
I sat down and enjoyed the rest of my partly boring burger while signing the log and gathering the clue I needed for the future.
Thanks jupiterpearl for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

>A joint First To Find with Amandaberries and Kristysadventures.
My car wasn't here when the notification dropped through.
Shortly afterwards I was on my way to this new hide.
Arrived at 1:20 to find the girls standing nearby, looking at their phones and chatting.
There was a muggle close by but not in line of sight when amandaberries unearthed this clever cache.
Thanks for the fun jupiterpearl.
We're all looking forward to the rest of this series.

I saw the alert come in that this cache had just gotten published, but since I was now back at work I knew the FTF opportunity was all but impossible as this cache was deep in the heart of [Kristysadventures](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=2025b6ac-6591-4990-a921-bd242af298ea) and [n0w0rries](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=5b32a917-ec75-4f0f-8609-dc880f31d698) territory. I quietly went back to my keyboard and starred at my monitor secretly wishing I was dashing out the door to find it.
A big congrats to the two of them and [amandaberries](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=92e01793-0368-48ed-86ee-aeefe3802344) on the FTF, I had no doubt lol.
So after work I was getting ready to go out and grab a couple of other caches when another new cache alert came in. This time for [PARK (ARDRIE) MULTICACHE - TMMN SERIES (GCA228N)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA228R). Well after I made the find at that one. [Kristysadventures](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=2025b6ac-6591-4990-a921-bd242af298ea) told me about this series.
So of course I had to come back and try to find this one. I could see what [Deepsky24](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=a5d9c7bb-2f98-4e66-9f75-cb6dd8c236b8) was talking about in his [log](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=92703260-424e-4b2f-b007-f9cbb36cc4e8) as my phone did not want to hone in on GZ.
It also felt like every single muggle in Caulfield needed to do their shopping right at this moment lol. So after tying my shoes a suspicious number of times. I had to resort to a PAF.
Armed with an extra hint, it still took a bit to find the well concealed cache and of course after I found it I had the:
*I could of sworn I looked there...*
moment, but oh well. A big thanks to [jupiterpearl](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=936ccf8b-4612-4dd6-b767-a9469613f0ff&wid=cd751404-8e30-4c4f-9729-6d880443d03a&ds=2) for the fun series and TFTC.
Cache Maintenance Status:
The cache container was in good shape, all of the required numbers were easily readable. The attachment mechanism still seemed strong and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

Joint first to find with amandaberries and nOwOrries.
Feeling pleased with cooking a new recipe for lunch, I sat down on my balcony to taste the aromatic miso turmeric soup and clicked on my emails - a new cache alert! One hand precariously balanced the soup bowl hurriedly back to the kitchen whilst the other texted amandaberries "plaza, 2 minutes?". Instant reply was 'new cache, yes, let's go'.
I knew we had to be faster than the Caulfield horses can finish the Cup, with potentially nOwOrries or Horror.Fan.jm in this neighbourhood, so Larry my geovehicle was revving outside Amandaberries door a few minutes later! We were off, emulating the horses, chomping at the bit ready to bolt.. a few short cuts to avoid the main roads and a sneaky U-turn to park (well as the saying goes.. when in Rome... we are in Victoria and I am sure U-turns at lights are permitted here...) and we had arrived at the finish line AKA GZ.
A few muggles were having their lunch in the plaza and my GPS was having a field day bouncing about. As we chatted about the best approach, nOwOrries arrived on the scene. We had a grand old catch up and in the meantime, many of the muggles cleared out. Down to business and we spread out to look, and shortly afterwards Amandaberries made the find.
Unfortunately, as it was a work day, I needed to return home (and to my soup!) and I will have to explore the plaza another time. Looks like a few cafes that may be worthwhile for another lunch time visit.
A quick photo and we left nOwOrries with the cheeky parting comment, perhaps see you at the multi when it is published.
Thanks JupiterPearl for the lunch time adventure - glad I was working from home today

Arrived about 1:15pm but could not get GPS to settle at all. A few too many seats taken to really look. Some other cachers turned up but I didn’t want a joint find, thanks anyway jupiterpearl.
>>JFTW with kristyadventures and n0w0rries<<
When a new trad pops up in your local area you just have to drop everything, right?! kristysadventures sent me a message asking if I wanted to go and we were off. Found a parking space nearby and then we navigated to the new Caulfield Plaza. It was lunchtime on a weekday but there weren't too many muggles around, except for one located very close to where the cache should be.
After having a good chinwag with n0w0rries, we worked around the muggle, quickly found the cache, signed it and returned it to its excellent hiding spot.
Looking forward to the other caches in this series. Thanks jupiterpearl for a fun cache and the opportunity to catch up with fellow cachers.
