Found during a caching trip out to the north-eastern suburbs to clear up a cluster of caches that I've been meaning to do for ages. Most caches were found relatively quickly and were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Postmaster Squizzie!

I am back in South Australia for more than a week for the first time in ages so naturally this meant that I took the time to catch up with my Geomum, Doctor Owl. It had been about 2 years since we cached together and I had actually managed to do a number of caches in my own time since then - granted, not particularly ones in Australia though.Quite clever hide after a nice little stroll. TFTC.

29-Dec-23
Owl's geodaughter WATBAC was in town and that means a road trip! There were a few added walks as well, including this one. Fortunately, the dog walkers kept going while the duo could dive off the path. WATBAC made a quicker find than Owl and they were on their way again.

I looked for a long time in the wrong location. Once I remembered that I was actually a bona-fide geocacher I had the correct information and soon honed in on the fun hide. Now thats what I was looking for. TFTC

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Heading out this morning to do some shopping and had some time to spare, so a small detour to make the find of the caches in this area was in order. Parked nearby and wandered over to GZ and started to search. Wandered around looking for the cache. Rechecked the hint and kept looking. Took a while, but as others have commented, the cache suddenly appeared out of the cache black hole. Extracted the log and then signed it and then replaced all as found. On the way back to the car, I was waylaid by a local asking why lots of people park here and wander down to the cache location. He was worried that people were scoping out how to steal the $17k swing that has gone missing once already. I gave him the caching in a minute talk which he was most happy about, as the presence of cachers might stop the swing from going missing again. We parted, and it was onto the next cache.

Took a while to spot this cache. Eventually it appeared from the other dimension where it had been hiding. Nice miniature letter box in a neat park. Interesting schwing nearby.

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

My second Squizzie Fairview Park letterbox this week! Again, a find after spending time with family in Modbury. At first I thought I’d park in Elinga and walk across, but the fencing and signage was not conducive, so Plan B was to park in Portmarnock and walk up. Didn’t there used to be a trad here?

A quick find here, and cache in great condition. Thanks for this and all the other letterboxes Squizzie; I hope there will be more.

This one took us awhile to spot, even though the container is a reasonable size Smile.TNLNSL.Well, as usual, Mrs DISK had to test out the nearby equipment (which was fine) Razz, but when we got to our lunch destination 5km away, realised she didn't have her phone Surprised - so it was a quick trip back here to retrieve it Red Face. So glad it was a quiet park [^].Thanks for another one Postmaster Squizzie.

Took me a lil while to realise I was looking for a completely different style and size container than the original listing... when I re-read the cache notes, I realised it was different, changed my search technique, and had tge cache soon after with spot on co-ords.

Thanks

Had ventured into North Adelaide for an event and after leaving that had to do some caching. Headed into the CBD for some Used2Bs then a bit further south for a letterbox and some puzzles before going north for a couple of letterboxes and a multi. Finished caching for the day with a letterbox quite close to home. This was the last of twelve physical caches found.
Had been waiting for this one to come back online after being muggled much too soon. I knew it was in a new location, but the GPSr didn't, despite have been reloaded after being enabled. So spent quite a while examining a stand of three hints before thinking to check if I was looking in the right place. Then it was a short walk and a quick find of a nice type of container that I haven't seen before.
Thanks Postmaster Squizzie for putting out this cache for us all to find.
Cache #13071 for me.

Good timing for this one, as we were straight out the door, hoping for a blank logbook. Made a quick find of a well designated cache, and soon had the logbook in hand after a solving the field puzzle.
Thanks for the letterbox Squizzie!
