So today was a day of celebrations, 100,000 in fact and there was cake. Then caching. Adelaide caching. Found in the company of CPWanderer. TFTC Vasco_the_Duck
Nice easy find on the right side of the bridge. A lovely hidden gem, playground and relaxing area.Well kept garden. Thanks for the
Well I made that way harder then it needed to be!I feel like Ive been here before for another cache which was much harder to get to so I instinctively didnt look where the cache was easily accessible. Oh well I guess Ive now learned my lesson!Found signed and returned Tftc
Accurate coordinates and the information in the cache description led to a quick find of a well placed cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Vasco_the_Duck for e cache.
#2097This was the sixteenth of twenty-seven finds for the day. After finding Woodroofe Gardens, Mizmaz and I continued our trip around the local area, hoping to add another quick traditional to our tally. Although we already found a cache with a CO name starting with V, we thought it would be great to have another. We checked both sides and were a little distracted by the terrain rating, as where we were standing when we found the cache, it felt like the rating could be increased. Thank goodness we stayed dry. SLTNLN. TFTC.
Found during a caching trip to South Australia chasing specific challenge targets with some easy PnGs or types to boost the numbers. Not where I first expected it to be (though obvious in hindsight) but easily spotted with feet remaining dry.
I reckon this cache was put a little further out than originally intended. Took a stick and some wet feet to retrieve! Placed back in a more 1.5 star spot . TFTC
**Today**Leap Day has arrived! Today myself, DSD, Muppet95 and pantspeople teamed up for a whole day of fun! With the mega event opening up at 10am, we decided to spend the morning cleaning out the city as much as we could. 8-12pm was on foot walking around the city, successfully finding two webcams, more virtuals + ECs than we could count and whatever physical caches we could grab on the way! Afterwards, we spent some time at the mega venue doing all the labs + getting goodies & refreshments to get out of the sun for a while! The afternoon was spent driving from street to street picking up as many epic caches on our list as we could, caching until we were exhausted! Thanks to all the COs -**This Cache**Well, there is a cache here, but it is not *exactly* this cache listing. I am struggling to convince myself to claim this cache as well, as I have already claimed the cache that I 100% put my signature in; with the logbook dating back to 2017. So given I didnt find a second container & second logbook to claim this with, I am happy to admit defeat here this time for my own personal sake! It would be really good to have clarification through a maintenance log from the cache owner in order for the confusion here to be remedied. Thanks!
A sense of dejavu here as I found the cache, and noted that I had signed the logbook back in 2017!Anyway, there is a cache to be found here, so its good to turn a blue frown to a yellow smiley
How good. Been here a few times recently with no joy. Others have DNF as well so gave up. Encouraged by some fresh finds - we came back and found it straight away in a place we had looked before.
Three Confused looking Geocachers, ventured out for a Tuesday evening Trekking. The plan was for ttrogg to pick up Mrs Rat from the Rat's nest.We headed to the CBD to meet up the Starfish. Now for the fun and laughter to begin, and caches to find.Back here this evening. We split up, looked high and lower. Then there was a shout found it.We stamped the logbook and replaced. Tftc
Something special or unusual goes here:Like the last finder and numerous before that, we couldn't find this cache where the GPS wanted us. But a look through the logs and it seems some people are finding something. So across the creek to where an old archived cache GC5D0AK was located and sure enough a cache is located which everybody is finding and stamping. In fact, the logs go back to 2017 - 5 years before this one was published! Even funnier, some people have stamped this log as finding it as the old one and finding it again as this cache. [:o)] I would be doing the same except I found the old cache in 2017 before this log started! But any hoot the cache is now back over the side where the GPS says you can find a cache. Even if it's not as the CO intended it is at least a cache.!The Generic Bit:Another Tuesday trek for a trio of puzzle solvers. Today however as it was very hot we decided to wait for a 7.00 p.m. start and cache is in the relative coolness of the twilight and into the early Wednesday morning. A fun night for getting some caches when businesses are closed and not so many prying eyes.. **SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks Vasco_the_Duck for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Christmas trip to Adelaide 2023. Day 7. Blackwood Day 5. Today started with an event welcoming the February 29th event only being two months away. I then spent some time in and around Norwood completing a handful of caches, not all going according to plan. Next was a visit to the city to ride the tram and walk the shops. I finished my days caching with some bakery LABs that had started during the event. The day was windy and with a cool breeze the hot sun was not too much of a problem. With the bright hot sun, it was a great place to hide and have a look for this cache. It did not take too long to locate and sign. Thanks for the cache Vasco_the_Duck45174.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Ballarat Geotour 2 A#520**Albida**
Confused puzzlers changed their Tuesday Trekking to Wednesday evening wander in and around the CBD.Plan A was for ttrogg to pick up the Rat and then proceed t North Adelaide to met up with the Starfish. The Starfish rang, and had to cancel his plans for the evening frolics.Plan B Ttrogg picked up the Rat and we headed for the CBD.We parked the geomobile and wandered to the cache. Here with a previous finder. We searched , no cache was found.Co could you please check on this cache.
Had a very good look around GZ but couldnt find anything.A very accessible spot for mini-muggles to get to and steal a cache... Can the CO please check on this one - plenty of DNFs on this one now
I searched carefully but no cache was found here today. The silver lining was getting to pet the wombat statue nearby.
Sorry to not locate this Cache today!!
Must be utterly blind as we have a shorter & taller person on hand but nothing to reach for??

Found with IT the cable guy didn’t need to become a duck to find it the description was very helpful TFTC
Following the hint of previous entry, found quickly and Anime3splat's long reach retrieved it without getting wet feet. Much appreciated in a nice setting.
Mr Tardis came here a few weeks ago, and there were too many muggles about to attempt a search.
Tonight I arrived under the cover of darkness, headed to a likely area and spotted the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Vasco_the_Duck.

I parked on The Parade, and the deja vu started where Sydenham Rd crosses First Creek with all the figurines. A bit like a miniature version of the old Southwark Brewery (on a budget) and I’m sure kids love it.
At GZ I’m thinking it was less than a year ago that I was last here, and from looking at the dates, that’s possible. It’s not often that a troll hide favours the taller person, but the current placement might be a bit of a struggle for our shorter players. Too many dogs exercising in the park today for any ducks to be around.
Thanks Vasco_the_Duck for bringing me back to this cute little park, also to Frozen Feet for the spanking new cache.

We were back here to do a playground review, and for Feetlet to find the cache, so we brought a new container with us to replace the broken one.
Such a lovely hidden park. Cache was secure and mostly dry, but the lid is cactus and it will need attention soon.
Went to the nice park. So did a lot of other people today!
A lot of dogs too, which our dog barked at wildly. There was no way we were going to be stealthy. Sigh, another day for this cache.

Came here at night while stealthily avoiding the nearby house. Took a minute to find the correct spot but the cache was soon in hand. TFTC!
A quick find thanks to the description. I am now insanely jealous of the lucky people with houses overlooking this gorgeous spot!
Cache container has a broken lid and quite a bit of water inside. Log book was dry though and in good condition. TFTC

Cache carefully out there,
it's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away
--------
Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids.
No apples or other fruit needed An apple a day doesn't keep the doctor away, we've tried that
----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now...
... until next time!

Owl was heading to the event the long way, picking up caches that had sprung up while she was on various holidays. The last time she was in the area it was full of muggles and she was in terrain 1 1/2 shoes. Having found a cache in the same place previously she should have known better. Today it was much easier.
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Running some errands which took me close to this one. I have been trying to get to this one for ages, but thus far it has not happened. Today, a small detour was made. It took longer to find a park than finding the cache, but when a park nearby was found, and a wander to GZ was made, with a couple of dog walking muggles wandering wround the park. Headed to the hide area when the muggles were out of sight and the cache was immediately spoted and the log signed. wandered back out and back to the car feeling happy with the find. Now onto the rest of the errands.

Over this end of town for some kids holiday activities and stopped for lunch. Noticed this cache just a short drive away, so Miss6 and I ducked over and made a quick and easy grab. TFTC

This bridge was a nemesis of mine when I spent quite a while under here pretending to be a troll looking for the last cache hidden here. Today thankfully the cache was quickly found. Sadly the lid is already broken TFTC
Stopped by for a quick find, in a place I've found a cache or two previously.
Given I didn't see the last two finders names in the logbook, I'm thinking they found one of the previous two, now archived, cache here?

After being busy at home for a while needed to go out for some Xmas caching. It was never going to be on the day itself so it had to be on Xmas eve. Was on the road soon after getting up, ie early afternoon, headed west then south. Top of the list were a couple of AdLabs, also included, "while I was in the area", were eleven physical caches and this was the ninth.
Another quick find where it had to be, managed to get on the podium with a silver.
Thanks Vasco_the_Duck for putting out this cache for us all to find.

KTPops and I arrived to find a couple just sitting quietly on he grass. We went about our business, which for most part was completely out of vision from them. After getting into the right position, the nice sized cache clearly presented itself. Signed and returned as found, we were on our way. Thanks for the hide Vasco the Duck, find #7667. Dont forget to Duuuuuuckkk
I am surprised to see about 4 pages of logs in the book, yet only one log online. This must be a busy time of year.
Found in the spot where the first cache was in this many visited park. That is where the duck goes. Blank page for me.
