Today I ventured north to CITO up a storm on the northern end of Bribie with Seffnjarah and Deznjez. We left a few hours early with the intention of collecting some interesting caches along the way. With 10 metres of China's cheapest carbon fibre in the tool kit, we planned on grabbing any tree fishing caches along the way, including this one. The approach from our parking spot to the east turned out to be a little easier than i anticipated initially with the concrete spillway. At GZ, there were seemingly lots of options and the phone was bouncing around like a basketball. Eventually, as our necks got sore from staring skyward, we reverted to previous logs. A photo in log helped us to narrow down the search area somewhat, which resulted in the find. At this cache or the next (Brain Box), some clear reading glasses dropped from my pockets. Here's hoping the next cacher spots them and makes contact. Thanks Wesso family Pete#8,114 @ [13:47]
With hatzofff after attending an Event nearby. No two poles are quite the sameLog signed and cache replaced as found at 4:05 PM on September 23, 2024. TFTC, Wesso Family.
After the Event out with Geofriends to nab a find. At GZ the cache was soon retrieved and the log signed. Then back to its lofty heights. Thanks wesso family. All good with this cache.
Still out and about with geo friends. We did a bit of bush bashing to G.Z. and quickly spotted what we were after. Up with the fishing . And we all soon had our names on the log. Returned cache to its hide. We are enjoying our time in Caloundra. Tftc
Given a leave pass from the event and BBQ, headed out for some caching.Caching with GEM_54.Nice find. TFTCache wesso family
Out on a whacky Whendnesday with IolantheK. Maybe did not take the optimal route to this one. Almost gave up on it too, but we finally spotted it.
Today teamdfl and I have found time for another crazy day of geocaching. After meeting up at North Lakes for coffee and cake, we headed north with no great plan in mind, and will see where we get to.We only had about 150 metres to GZ but it was a bit of a soggy slog! And it took us quite a few minutes before we spotted the container. Glad to make it a smiley in the end. TFTC, Wesso Family.
Out finding a few caches with CuriousQuest. I parked the geomobile and we made our way to GZ. There, the cache was quickly spotted. Tool deployed and we soon had the cache in hand. With our names added to the log and everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Out for a day of caching with Selva Girls. This cache was quickly located and our names were in the log. TFTC
The last find in Caloundra for the morning, I negotiated the grass and water plants to reach GZ on the other side. Took a bit of looking around until I spotted it where I first checked! I sent up the TOTT and I was able to easily retrieve the cache. Great to get my first 4.5/2, only two more for my first loop! Seems to be a few lovely Pale-headed Rosellas in this area. Seemed quite content with me watching from a few metres away as they munched on nuts and berries. Thanks Wesso Family!
The last cache on my list for the day, and I think I saved the hardest for last. At first I had parked around the Gippsland St side too and realised I shouldnt have used google maps to navigate to the cache. Off around to the other side where it was proper access but a good 400m away. Better than crossing that drain and all the scrubby weedy growth! Hmmm. Ive been here before for a cache. The light was fading so I needed to hurry. But in my going out shoes that wasnt going to happen. I passed through several fallen trees, playing Unders and Overs in a stupid dress. In the wet. Thankfully (and surprisingly) the mozzies werent as ferocious as I expected. Or maybe I already had all the blood sucked out of me. When I finally got to GZ I noticed I had lost my pen en route. But I spied the well hidden container so I was going to make it happen some how. I positioned myself for a vertical fish and took my time. Nicely done. There was plenty of mud around for me to make my mark. So now my name is officially mud with the CO . Or maybe yours is mud with me, Wesso, after this cache?? Either way, the cache is back up safely on its clever perch and I got out just on dark without slipping over once. Now to dust myself off and meet up with the girls
As we were in this corner, we continued the track to the next cache .The fish was spotted soon, but to get it down took quite a while. We finally were successful, signed the log and got it much easier up again.Tftc Wesso Family
We were in the area for another visit on a sunny winter day. I found the cache with TBU1BIKESU and muggle brother Siggi and signed the log.Tftc Wesso Family
Life has been so busy with the not-so-little TTs that I hardly find a chance to get out and cache for a whole day. But today was the day. Didnt take much to convince Chamad to come and hunt with me for the day. I signed a challenge long ago for a ludicrous number of caches needed in the Sunshine Coast. I think I still have about 400 to go. So, putting a tiny dent in this was the go-to. A 9 hr day and about 30 caches. Unfortunately a few dnfs, but although it felt like 50/50, luckily it wasnt. There were a few caches that were way above their terrain because the ground is so wet and slushy and sometimes even a big puddle was underfoot (actually more so overfoot!). It was so good to get out and play and be an adult only for the day. Hmmm maybe I have that wrong. A chance to stop being a responsible adult and a chance to be a kid doing immature and silly things!Wet way in. But we made it. Took enough time to locate that the mozzies started to move in on us. Glad it ended up being a find.
Out for a day of Caching and catchup time with Triple turmoil today. The plan was to grab a few caches on the sunshine coast region. While I have completed my sunshine coast region challenge turns out triple turmoil has still a big ways to go, lol. So grabbing some of the new caches and some others in the area was the plan for today. I was mostly after a multi and a whereigo for the day, the rest were just as we were passing. As always it is a fun day with some great laughs and some concentrated toilet stops to add to the agenda. I think I may have gotten 22 caches and my buddy may have bagged 30 but who's counting. There were a few dnf's but that was expected due to some log reports. All in all it was a fun no pressure and an easy day. We got in a couple of difficult puzzle caches, a multi, a whereigo, some tree fishing and just the occasional troll, lol, loved the day thanks. We signed all logs and replaced as found thanks for the hides. This area was super wet and took us a very slow entry , the cache we thought may have been knocked into the water as there is a fallen tree at gz. but after some caching blindness we found the cache in the darks of the branches of the fallen tree.
I headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few around the Sunny Coast.I found your cache, Hanging Around Bellvista today. This is my 2326 find.Quick scramble into the bush. Made a quick find, retrieved the cache, singed and replaced as found.Wesso Family, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Loving our time around Brisbane and around the area. Today we had a trip up the coast, visiting some tourist places and taking in some lovely scenery.
Took the hardest way, into this one and as it was getting darker, made it more difficult to spot, retieve and even harder to return. Happy to have our names in the log and the fun it gave.
Thanks Wesso Family for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

We definitely took the hard way to this one… a bit of bush bashing around as we were on the path… shouldn’t have worn a skirt and jandals! A bit of looking around until we found it, then a bit of a wobble getting it back up… all was good in the end though! Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
I made a last minute decision to head up to the Sunnie Coast for the day with a vague plan to tackle a couple of puzzles requiring me to load up Renaldo with more tools than the average tradie hilux…
The weather sabotaged that plan which meant I spent the day between Baringa and Meridan Plains caching up a storm…
Arriving having done zero research, I pulled up at the end of Gippsland Place and started towards GZ… mmmm… the direct approach soon became a T4 expedition that involved walking on water…
Thanks Wesso Family

Lovely day finding caches with Snickersallan and grannysmith47 despite me worrying about the forecasted rain the day before. I needed to get 12 Smileys to get the second challenge souvenir on offer from Geocaching HQ, we did more than that! Happy dance!
Thank you for the cache Wesso Family. We could have taken the fastest route but the current was fast! Lol. For some reason we took the slow route only realising there was a decent faster way going north of where we initially parked. Was a good walk anyway and harvested some ready to eat passion fruit in the wild! Winners! Long walk was worth it!

A trip up to Caloundra to meet up with E_Smiley and grannysmith1947 for a day of caching. It was pouring rain all the way from the Gold Coast to the outskirts of Corbould Park, and then the sun appeared from nowhere! Thank goodness we never got to use the wellies, fowl weather gear, or the brolly
The majority of caches found today were in excellent condition and a real credit to the CO's who placed them, and we certainly had fun finding them all
Thank you, Wesso Family, for a beaut cache, we enjoyed the neck stretching exercise

I re-positioned the vehicle from the prior *Brain Box* geocache, and then tried to find a way from the path towards the other side of the creek/drain. I found the toughest part was going through the scrub from the east, and once I arrived at GZ, I made the quick find. The TOTT was deployed and cache extracted, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Wesso Family for the cache hide and ongoing maintenance.

Today, with the Caloundra lunch event scheduled, it was an opportunity to take the kayak and paddle one of Sunshine Coast's rivers, subsequently Paynter's Creek was selected.
Whilst travelling north, I firstly stopped in Woombye for a couple of oldies and high Favourite Point geocaches, and then proceeded east to then kayak Paynter's Creek. Following the scenic and tranquil kayak, I proceeded south towards Caloundra grabbing a pie along the way and attended the Kings Beach [Rescheduled: Canuck in Caloundra - Meet & Greet](https://coord.info/GCA6MBY) event. With my remainder of the afternoon, I continued to target a few geocaches around Caloundra, Baringa and Bells Creek, before returning home.
Adventure Labs completed:
• [A Wander Through Woombye](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/e03242dc-36f7-46e1-928f-46fad3ba8d66); and
• [Icons of Caloundra](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/a3387d35-dca6-4b34-a46d-15bb3af0187c).

Half the fun is getting to caches sometimes. I probably didn't take the right route but it sure was fun. Now, I just need to find it.
Thanks again guys, awesome fun

After hanging around in the rain at Mooloolaba I decided to head south and see how hanging around Bellvista compares. I parked neaarby and enjoyed the stroll through a familiar area to GZ. I must say that there was no rain about so it was much better than Mooloolaba.
The cache was soon located and retrieved. Getting the log out was a bit harder but eventually the log was retrieved, signed, then all returned as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

We parked at the end of Ghostgum Close and walked along to GZ where the cache was spotted on arrival. Retrieval went well, log signed and replaced up as found. Thanks Wesso Family for the cache and a favourite from us for the nice walk this morning.
Wesso Family I found your cache Hanging Around Bellvista on 23/1/2023, 9:15 am. This is my find 4655 and find # 1 today. Found it, retrieved it, signed it and returned it. Hard part was to find how to get to GZ. Found a way in with a easy 300 meter walk. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
After a great morning paddle, The Bug was very keen to grab this one. Muggle65 loves a tree fish so l shrink away so he doesn't have to ask if l want a go. Happy to let the boys be boys. Thank you for a fun cache
Missed out on racing for FTF on this one due to logistics .I was out at Toowoomba having fun with the caches out there. But wanted to grab it asap…and that was today.
Looking forward to more Wesso tree fishing caches hidden from the Wesso Scooter.
This one found with Green Geckos/Muggle65 after a morning on Mooloolah River.

Not sure where I parked but it looked quite close. Started off going up by the side of a house which took me to a footpath, I then turned left for a few meters then right into the bush and I arrived at another footpath (didn't looked as if it was used much). Back into the bush and onto a trail to GZ, good coords made finding the cache easy. Retrieval and replacement went with out any drama. TFTC Wesso Family

STF. I saw this one this morning and was very keen to find it, but we had visitors, and although I would have loved to leave then for a cache, manners unfortunately won out…lol. Once they left though, I was free for a caching afternoon, so ducked off to find this one first. I had this one and two other main targets today.
It’s nice to tree fish somewhere where there are no onlookers. Thanks for the cache, Wesso
