After lunch at The Prancing Pony we continued our cache hunt with AussieGal88 and pineapplegoldy.
On our way to a multi, a request was received to stop at this cache. Request granted and a quick find adds another yellow smiley to the map. TFTC naughtybunny

Another day out with the JAMS team primarily to host our first CITO at Mt Barker summit. We had time for a few caches and Adventure Labs on our way, then when the CITO was finished we headed to Lobethal and surrounds. The day started out cold but the rain held off until the afternoon when we stopped for some lunch. By the time we had finished lunch the rain had stopped so we were able to find a few more caches before heading home.
Found after the CITO as we headed in a roundabout way to Lobethal.
Thanks for the cache naughtybunny.

Found with the jams crew on a drive around the area after attending a CITO event. Well hidden. TFTC
Found after the Clean up Mount Barker Summit CITO. Quick find. Found with the aid of the hint.
The JAMS crew ( JJ52, Allister W, Mogni, and Sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound is overseas currently so didn't join us, were out on our monthly outing. All logs stamped as JAMS. Today it was off to Mount Barker Summit to the CITO the JAMS crew is hosting and then heading in the general direction of Lobethal. We were targeting the 3 adventure labs and whatever caches any of the JAMS crew hadn't done, so there was a lot of revisits to caches for me till we cached above Nairne. We had scattered showers till a slightly late lunch when it poured down, after lunch the rain went away and came back as we were leaving Mount Barker on route home.

I was out for the day with Peas&CarrotsForever and AussieGal88 to attend the Mount Barker Summit CITO.
We then grabbed caches on the mountain top. Followed by some in Nairne, Totness, Hay Valley and Inverbrackie afterwards as well.
We had lunch at the Prancing Pony Brewery and found a total of 16 caches for the day and completed one adventure lab.
I saw this cache on the map and made the request to grab it. Which was granted.
Upon arrival to GZ a quick find was made. I appreciate the effort here to hide this cache.
I dropped two TBs to continue on.
A cool cache!
Thanks naughtybunny for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3330 on the 30th of July 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!

Great hide. Maybe need someone a tad taller than my 6 year old to find this
A short diversion had us looking at a likely spot [8], but it took a bit of elevation to see how to retrieve the container .TNLNSL.Nice avenue of gums [^].Thanks again Naughtybunny.
Cheers
My 5year old says: That's a tree that I love. There's something strange about it.
From me: I love the way this is hidden. Very clever.

My old GPS went on the fritz last week and ended up not responding at all. [B)] Nothing but trouble and problems with that model for the past three years.[:(!] Heading off to the mega at Easter I decided to treat myself to a new GPS. Time to test it out and find some local caches.
I looked in from the ground. nope. So I used the natural step as suggested and looked further in. Still nope. So up I went further onto the next big step where I could reach the little hollows in the small branches. Still nope. [:(!][?] So I leaned in a bit. Good grief. Back down I went to the first step and got the cache. That was fun. Great to have a new hider close to home.
***Thanks naughtybunny for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Cache found in the last place I looked. It had to be there. I just had a man's look the first time round.

Found on a day out with BearyOrganised and Tigtog08. Needed a locally found TOTT to help retrieve it. Nice hide and beautiful tree. Tftc
Found this with geo daughter and granddaughter with two other smaller geo granddaughters sleeping soundly in the car. Even with the natural step with used a locally found TOTT to retrieve the nicely tucked away cache. TFTC TNLNSL A Favourite point for a beautiful tree.
Spend a few years studying muggles but now I'm backkkkk! Found with Featherwaite.
Found with BantamCT during a circuit around the Hills. Very impressive old tree! Thanks for the cache naughtybunny!
Another day, another cache to find, or two, or three...
A neat little hide in a gnarly old battler!
Our appreciation to naughtybunny for planning and maintaining this cache on our ever growing SA cache map!

Travelling all over wherever we can - searching, spotting hidden items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guess or plain old dumb luck
Heaps of the luck stuff really !!!
*Most of the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course*.**
---
Beware ! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, floodwaters, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for bugs !!! . [xx(]
Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Great of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
We do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now...

The end. For now...
Found on a nice quiet evening on a hot summer's day. It was so quiet I thought the tree had a glow to it A beautiful big tree which has survived for so long. The cache was found quite quickly and logged. TNLN. Cheers.

After success nearby the Otter told me about this one so this is where we headed. He used local knowledge and I used the sat. nav. Moral of this story, actual knowledge beats augmented knowledge. But I did manage to lay hands on the nicely concealed cache first, while the Otter was getting an un-required TOTT [^]
Thanks to naughtybunny for a nice cache in my favourite hunting area, the hills.
