Headed down south this afternoon to tackle a few caches and ALs in the area. Unfortunately some of the walking tracks are closed so I couldnt complete the ALs. Still had a successful afternoon leaving enough for a return trip to this beautiful spot. I love a field puzzle, great cache! TFTC
Embarrassed to have previously DNFed this. Found it fairly quickly today and then enjoyed this puzzle. We have seen a few of these now and are starting to get better at them. The logsheet may get in the way at the last step. I should have held the puzzle horizontally after starting it. TFTC paegle
Amazing! As huge Survivor fans, this is one of the puzzles we've seen on tv. Was worried about the debris, but cache is as advertised. Tftc
Out for a walk along the escarpment. Why not pick up a cache or two. The GPS was a bit off on this one. Needed to expand the search a little
Today:Did a beautiful long hike in this area from Thirroul to Stanwell Park which took me pretty much all daylight hours to complete. Much of the track is closed for maintenance, but since it's a Saturday I was not bothering anyone and the track is good enough to walk. Enjoyed the gorgeous views along the way and a lot of very high quality geocaching. This area has so many gems to offer! This cache:Had quite a bit of trouble locating the container. Was about to walk away when I spotted it. Fun little puzzle and quickly got the cache in hand, tftc!
Couldn't find this one. After about 15min without luck, I read the logs - only to see the hint was no longer relevant, and was changed with the co-ord up date.Left quite cranky & top it off with a massive leech on my ankle
Finally on the 3rd or 4th time. Amazing construction. Took me a while to solve the puzzle. TFTC
Day 20 of my interstate trip. Today I left Sydney continuing on my slow trip towards Canberra I got as far as Nowra where I stayed for the night. I managed to find 13 caches today and no DNF's.Looked and looked came up with nothing so said that's it I'm moving on to the next one and then there it is right in front of me.TFTC paegle
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying at Coledale camping reserve, today we headed out to check out some of the many nearby lookouts! This of course saw us up and down many windy steep roads, some more than once. [:o)]Hmm the hint is for the previous cache, forget that coz it aint there. Found as per the owner maintenance log - Low tree branch Once we found the cache it still took some time to add our name to the log. There was nobody up here when we arrived but by the time we finished here and were heading to the actual lookout there was a group of motorcyclists and about 6 cars there!TFTC Paegle
Hmm, this is fast becoming a nemesis cache. Second DNF. Not sure what I'm missing here.

Unfortunately, our extensive search didn't reveal the cache. There has been significant recent disturbance at GZ. It looks like a tree near GZ has fallen and crushed the tower fence. Then the tree has been cut up and bulldozed over GZ. Hence, the area is covered with fresh sawn timber.See photos of GZ.Sorry Paegle
Found on the way out to dinner in the Illawarra.Logs full and rather damp but we managed to scribe a signature. No spares with us.Great work on the crafted cache. A F.P. TFTC Paegle.
After finding it a long time ago by accident not knowing what it is i decided to find it again with my support group after doing the sublime point walk track we decided to find it again. After searching for it we finally found it couldnt sign the log as it was full but had a spare piece of paper so we tear off a little piece of paper and write our names down on the paper and put it as the log instead as the other one was full
This was a very clever cache. Took a long time to find. Had a lovely time at the Sublime Point event. I've made a geocaching account since meeting the lovely people at the event. Found with the help of Laimelde and FroggyPancakes.
Found during the Sublime Point Lookout 2023 event with new caching friend Laimelde
Thankyou so much for the fun! - Ciara and Susan

I have to admit that I spent a lot longer looking for the cache than extracting the log!
I'll blame the new version of the official app LOL
A cool cache. Thanks for placement.

A quick puzzle cache to solve after attending the Sublime Point event.
Thanks for the cache.

What an amazing idea for a cache! 3D printing is really doing wonders for Geocachkng, I love it!
Here to find my 1000th cache on my 100th day in a row of geocaching! Not too many muggles about either which is great!
Signed the log and replaced as found; TFTC!

The hint through me as the LOG had been cut up this week with a chainsaw.
But the other feature was still there and low and behold the cache was there.
Sat down and took a couple of minutes to softly unravel the container, sign the log and replace.
Thanks Jai for an interesting container.

Ziggiau fount the cache, and a little bit of patience was needed for me to open it. Hint for opening it: brute force is not required! Soft hands and patience will do it
We took far too long to find the cache (follow your instincts and the GPS) but got it in the end. aubeasty displayed remarkable patience to work through the puzzle.
A nice container, first one of this type I have found that is not home made. We were glad that there was a nearby table and chairs so we could sit down and solve the puzzle of opening the cache. Good hide, and a great location with stunning views, thanks.
Three kings found it with me. Good puzzel eh. A lot quicker once you find out how. We played hooky from a wedding. Ha ha. Tftc

Skived off from my Nephews Wedding to do a couple of caches with the WEEO.
I found the cache but WEEO had to open it for me .
Love it, TFTC

Saw this was relatively new so we stopped after a day out caching. Such a cool container. TFTC a FP just for the container.
This was our second attempt. The first time it was not where we found the puzzle. With puzzle in hand all we had to do was open it. Easier said then done.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.

Such a lovely location for Miss Hide. We came here this morning at the start of our bushwalk, which eventually finished at Stanwell Park.
At GZ, we took a bit of time to finally find the container, and then a lot more time to carefully open it up!
Out with Smythos today. It was a perfect day for a bit of caching and a great walk
Thanks paegle

(3 of 3 today - including 1 Adventure Lab)Came down this way for the GCNSW event - unfortunately couldn't make it for the walk. While here I also grabbed an AL location and then a traditional. It was the last one I had trouble with - an issue as I needed to be back in the Shire for dinner with friends.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Before going for this I had grabbed the AL location here. So I snaffled:# Sublime Point Lookout###END OF ADVENTURE LAB SECTION###Well finding this was the easy bit. Then...Aah, it's one of these. And of course being under time pressure, this was by far the longest it took for me to open one of these. Finally got it open, and signed the log.And as is often the case, I was able to properly close it in short order.Time to head to dinner.SLTNLNTFTC
Found It!
I found this one in the hands of NationalSteel who had already done the hard work of getting it open. So it was a quick and easy find for me!

A quick find after the event. A nice twist on a classic hide! TFTC and an FP from me.
I'd headed down early for the Geocaching NSW Winter walk hoping to find some caches beforehand but having never been to this area before I took the wrong turn back from Bulli so instead of attending your event I did the scenic drive to Wollongong and back.
I arrived just in time, one minute to spare in fact, for the walk and was able to join the group for this cache find.
Excellent way to start the walk!
Thanks for the Pathtag, Paegle.

Found this gadget cache before the nearby Event. Made fairly quick work of the puzzle with a bit of logic and intuition. Thanks For The Cache, Paegleboy! A FP here.

Prior to the start of the Geocaching NSW winter walk, this was an easy pick up. But opening the cache was of another category. While I was cursing on 3D printers, after giving it a few tries, it was my fellow geocacher who suddenly had the logsheet in hand.

An ad-hoc team effort here.
After grabbing the traditional at the other end of the imminent GCNSW walk, I popped over here to try to squeeze in another find. The coordinates brought me to an obvious hiding place, but I couldn't see anything so expanded my search radius. As I did, Its_Dozzie appeared and said the cache should be where I started. He had a good look and came up with nothing.
As we searched, Googlehihihi arrived. I decided to try the original spot again and found the cache which it seemed Its_Dozzie had uncovered. I had a few attempts at the puzzle but felt bad for not cracking it while the others were waiting. So I handed it to Its_Dozzie who had a few tries before handing it to Googlehihihi. He had more success than us and so was able to put our names on the log. Just in time, as a crowd of geocachers were coming past heading out for the walk.

While I had been planning to leave local caches for needed dates/challenges, once I saw this container in the hands of a fellow cacher, knew it was better to claim it today than struggle on my own another day. Passing it between ourselves as frustration rose, took instruction from another finder and completed the task.

Doing a spot of caching with Skyebomonkeytown before attending GCNSW walk and event. A group hunt at this one. Thanks for the geo-fun. ??

Found with loads of other geocachers before we went for a walk with the Geocaching NSW organised event. A great little cache and very glad to have others here to find it with!
Perfect timing for me, as another cacher had CIH as I arrived, thanks for the fun hide
Found this one with a group so that made it significantly easier. Sublime point is beautiful. Shame the cafe is no longer operating here. TFTC
Top views up here!
I had no problems making the find but then things got tricky glad I was in the company of others with more patience then myself.
Eventually inked my name in the log
Thanks for the cache

The cache was out when I arrived. Got to play with it for a bit and managed to get to the log.
Thank you for this quick puzzle

Early morning visit, the gate was still closed! Thanks for replacing the fun little challenge. Took a minute, opening the new logbook with freezing cold fingers was the biggest task.

Nice cache , coordinates spot on . Log very wet as the top of it was on the ground. Loved the type of cache that I haven’t come across before. TFTC
That was really cool, Ms6 would have loved this one! The logbook was ridiculously crammed into that tiny vial so I added a new one.
Opening the container wasn’t the difficult part. Getting plastic bag out took way longer. And getting the logsheet out was tricky too!?!

My last find for the day. A nice easy find and getting to the log but extracting the paper was painful…. Simply too much paper for that cache.
Thanks a favourite point for me

Dropped in on the way home from work. Thought it would be a quick find... Well, it was a quick find, but opening (and closing) the container took me about half an hour.
Well done, very well crafted.

After dropping some family members at the local station for their trip, I thought I’d take in a couple of caches out this way. My intention was the Sublime Point Stairs AL, but disappointingly the track has been closed due to significant rock falls!
But this cache was also on the list, and I was a little concerned about what exactly it was going to be. I’m truly hopeless at puzzles, and was even more worried that it would be one of those impossible ones that some people can do in seconds. As I approached, the location was sending out laser guidance to drag me to the anticipated structure and there it was. Ok, so just what is it? Hmm, ok, yep, it’s one of those but with a twist! Spent quite some time until I had success, the whole time worrying if I’d be able to put it back as I found it! Extracted the log and replaced. Crafty for sure!

From the sublime to the ridiculous. All I could see was fog!! Nice cache though. TFTC paegle
After a 6km walk nearby at the dam, I drove to Sublime Point to tackle this new one. There was a muggle parked nearby having a smoke, so I took the long way through the bush to GZ. I emerged from the scrub and saw where the cache would be immediately.
I saw the log and had some time getting to the log, with the puzzle to get it open taking a bit longer than expected. Eventually I had the tiny log in my hand, and added my name. Then spent a few more minutes making sure I had it shut properly. Returned the log to it's home, covered with a bit of camo and got out before I could be locked in. A neat bit of work with this one and a top location. Have a FP. TFTC

After being unsuccessful at another nearby cache this morning I popped into this one and soon revealed the well put together container. As a bonus it was a *FTF* for me. TFTC!
