#24578. Operation Sea Horse Phase 2 was a run of around 26 caches from north to south on a single road (we didn't have time to look for the rest). TFTC.
Today StreetWalkerNZ and I are driving from Moonta Bay to Point Turton. The Sea Horse geoart is on the radar for today plus a few other solved puzzles/multis. Just a few left to go now before we get to the end of this road. TFTC.
In Maitland for a couple of days , picked up a few caches on the way with the caravan and the back before I parked it. Thanks to Fishy Tales for this geo art. TFTC
Heading to Sea horse geoart from Yorketown. Its raining in the morning , manage to log it without getting wet.Enjoy sea horse geoart runsTFTH
Nice day for geocaching and hanging out with some friends. Logged the books with HC or Happy Crabbers. Made some new friends too. Thank you for putting these out for us to find.
Nice day to gather with some other geo friends to tackle the crab! Team happy crabbers!
Found on a fun day out and about with 19 other caching teams (logs signed as Happy Crabbers or HC) who set out to complete the Crab GeoArt . Several teams continued on to also complete this series. - TFTC
An excellent day to complete some Geoart together with the other Happy Crabbers. Thank you everyone for an awesome day. TFTC
After completing the ?? we stopped for a BBQ lunch while being eyed by the local emus and then it was back on the road to complete the seahorse geo art before heading to an event. What an adventurous day with lots of smiles shared ?? and many more appearing on my map ??We found it and signed as HC - Happy Crabs ?? , Happy Cachers ?? , Happy Chicks ?? TFTC Fishy TalesKeep smiling ??
Found while out caching in the area with other teams. Completed the crab first, then onto the seahorse. Logs were signed with the name Happy Crabbers or HC. Thanks for the caches, Fishy Tales.
The Happy Crabbers headed out to find the crab geo art today, and we also found the seahorse as a bonus. Signed log as HC or Happy Crabbers to save room. Thanks for bringing us out here. TFTC.
A beautiful day for finding some caches. Good company too: Logs were signed with the name HC or Happy Crabbers. TFTC
Day 4 in SA. Today's plan Moonta to Minlaton via Maitland and the sea horses. A few other trads along the way.Roads a little muddy after yesterday's rain but not too bad.Easy to find so far. Thanks for the series
Spent two days with my family and my dad the garbageman collecting all of the seahorse caches. Seeing as though he has done long logs Im going to keep it short other than to say I found more of them than he did. They were mostly easy finds except for two that we had to come back a second time to find. Thanks to the owners for their hard work for this series.
In the region for a few days and couldnt help but do at least one artwork and this was the closest to where we were staying. Thank you to all those that created and maintain this. This one was a quick find with my geokids CC and SNG. TNLN TFTC
Hiding in waiting. Quick findAnother quick find. Cache all good. Lovely walk/ drive through this track. Thanks to the team who put these out and maintain them for our pleasure
On the move, leaving Port Turton and heading for a week at Edithburgh. With the accommodation not ready until 2ish PM, took the opportunity to visit a few other places on the Yorke. Before leaving home, I had a set of caches I'd like to grab. With many of the COs caches to grab and not enough time to fish out the Yorke with my muggle traveling companions I was selective in what I grabbed and the amount of time I spent caching. The Sea Horse geo-art or part there of was of interest. Thanks Fishy Tales for highlighting this shoal.
A quick find while staying at the Maitland show ground. Thanks Fishy Tales for placing these caches for all to find.TFTC
I know that the attributes for this series have been put there to inflate the stats, which I'm definitely disagreeing with, but for most of them, I don't care. However, IMO, the "wireless beacon" attribute really shouldn't be used for caches that definitely doesn't involve one. Very misleading, and I'm asking can this please be removed. The "hike" ones would be the next ones in line which should definitely not have been used here, but almost the whole series has it and I can't be bothered posting a note for each one... P.S. Not trying to nitpick here; if this is accepted by groundspeak and is some sort of weird thing in Australia, feel free to remove my note.
Our day was spent over at Maitland completing the Seahorse geoart as well as the AL and various caches around the town. I appreciate the time and effort all the COs have put into the placement and maintenance of the caches found. Was with Richmond Lad and KezBear and signed as JKR.
I was lucky to be invited out today for a day of shenannigans and hunting by joojoo57 and Richmond Lad. The goal was the Seahorse Geoart just out from Maitland SA and a few others nearby. The AdLabs in town got done as well as the Bonus. this was a wonderful change from the job and house hunting of the last couple of weeks. We were realising that the days count would be at 95 so I said we simply HAD to get to 100!All the geocaches were found in good condition and other than a few little scratches there were no injuries in our merry team. Signed the book as JKR for the day to conserve space for future and replaced as found. Thanks you to the Owners and travellers who maintain them. Happy Hunting!
Out and about today with joojoo57 and KezzBear around Maitland doing the Sea Horse GeoArt caches. Fantastic day was had. Caches were found and log signed (signed as JKR). TFTC
A busy afternoon on the trail - power trails certainly take longer when caching solo ! I'll have to return later in the week to finish it. Thanks for this cache & the series, Fishy Tales.
Teamed up with ivss_xx for a few days' caching. We were planning to find as many as possible and have fun, and achieved both goals! Great to have a letterbox trail, TFTC!!
13:06 FITW HinemoanaI was trying really hard to get a reading on my Garmin for the chirp beacon. Maybe the battery has run out!? Luckily found the cache in the end because the hike was short and there was a phone nearby.I know that the attributes for this series have been put there to inflate the stats, which I'm definitely disagreeing with, but for most of them, I don't care. However, IMO, the "wireless beacon" attribute really shouldn't be used for caches that definitely doesn't involve one. Very misleading. Therefore posting a NM note so this can be fixed.Kia ora! ???? Paldies! ????Thanks for the cache, Fishy Tales!#10410
After over seven weeks on the road, I'm back home and finally catching up on all my logging.Caching in South Australia was fantastic, so many good hides to find, and we found ourselves zigzagging all over the place doing lots of geoart but of course ran out of time to get everything done on our to-do list. The majority of caches we found were in great condition and well maintained, which is a credit to all the CO's who placed them, so thank you.Our logs were mostly signed as 5 for QLD to save room on the log sheets, and no doubt, we'll be back again in the near future.
A February Mega brought us to Adelaide. Our group is traveling together and signing logs as 6 for QLD.Today we are working from Maitland to Kalpura, then back to Adelaide arriving in the darkOur target is the solved puzzles of the Sea Horse and the Sad Fisherman Geo art series.Log signed and cache replaced as found on February 28th, 2024. TFTC, Fishy Tales.
We are ion South Australia for the leap Year Mega. After an early start from our overnight accommodation, we set off to find the caches on our target list. All caches were found and signed as "5 for QLD" for our traveling group of hatzofff (myself), RoddyC, Imbunda, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947.Today we target some geo art and other caches. Loving the area, but it is very hot and quite windy today.
An early morning start after our overnight stay. I am traveling with my friends, hatzofff, RoddyC, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947. We are signing all logs as "5 for QLD" to save space. All caches were found, signed and replaced as foundAfter some early caches and an event we headed off to some special geoart and an overnight stay before heading back to Adelaide for the start of the Mega. Today has been one of the hottest and windiest we have had so far. [:(!] Here's hoping Adelaide will be a bit cooler tomorrow.
TFTC smile 18889 Out and about on a lovely day Having a great time finding a few caches heading to Adelaide for a few weeks then on our way to Canberra . Signing as 5 for QLD - Hatzofff Snickersallan RoddyC Imbunda. What a great team we made and lots of laughter and fun. Lots of caches to get today, and it was hot and windy at the geo art Thank you Fishy Tales for placing this cache for our enjoyment [:X]

Team WIN are out and about for a second day of caching together. That is gkmlb, Kiscardi, NZ_B and Mr-Mcgoo, An all Kiwi crew. Thanks to the Fishy Tails team for producing such a wonderful game board for us to play on.TFTC
Team WIN from Wellington Invercargill and Nelson in New Zealand were at it again today, after such an enjoyable day yesterday when we found our highest total ever (by far) we joined in with the team again to come and find the Sea Horse letterbox caches. It was a stunningly hot day over 40 degrees (by kiwi standards) so thank goodness for the air conditioning in the camper. We blasted around the fantastic condition gravel roads to find fantastic condition caches, we suppose the chance of finding wet mushy logs in Australia are a lot slimmer than in New Zealand with the lack of rain in this area.Team WIN soon got into a rhythm and make quick work of this series, we didn't meet until later in the morning and were finished before lunch time.In New Zealand we detour out of our way if we spot there is a letterbox cache nearby, so to have a whole trail of them is like a dream come true for this couple of kiwis.I apologize for the cut and paste logs, but I am not creative enough to write a separate log for every cache we find on these trails. Thanks so much for placing these caches and thank you for the smiley.
Out on the road with Team WIN members from Wellington, Invercargill and Nelson - NZ_B , Mr Mcgoo, Marchwood and gkmlb. Enjoyed picking up the Sea Horse series with my new friends this morning while it was still cool and not such a big effort as required yesterday to do 400 +Over in the area for the Great Leap Forward mega to be held in Adelaide . Thanks for all the caches Fishy tales. Much appreciated
Sea Horse day today and it turned out to be a warm one with the outside car temp in the 40's with a max of 44 deg C. So adding more dust to the car we completed this series with no real issues.TFTC Fishy Tales#7642
Today Mr Mc-goo, Marchwood, Kiscardi, gkmlb and I are finding some of the artwork on the peninsula. We have a plan Stan and are are looking forward to today. Each log we found was signed as WIN -Wellington, Invercargill and Nelson, the cities where we live. Mr-Mcgoo and I are visiting Adelaide for the Mega [GCA1DNA]( https://coord.info/GCA1DNA) The Great Leap Forward on the 29 February. We are finding caches for the fun of finding them, or we are targeting specific caches - puzzles we have solved and caches that will help us complete challenges; for me it is finding caches with a D/T of 2.5+/2.5+ for the [GC30AD8](http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC30AD8) DGSC Challenge (West Coast) challenge in NZ. Of course, there will be lots of laughter, no doubt at my expense .Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Fishy Tales.
(9282) Today NZ_B (from Greytown), marchwood (from Neslon), kiscardi (from Invercargill) and myself decided to grab the Sea Horse series. Also joining us with their FWD motor home were ekmlb (from Nelson) Grabbed them all before lunch. Today was a lot hotter than yesterday with the mercury reaching 40 degrees. Sorry about the templated logs. Signed the logs as WIN.Thanks Fishy Tales for taking the time to place this and for bringing me here.
The SPBINZ team (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ, and Nanzie) are out and about piecing this seahorse geoart back together again on our maps cache by cache while trying to reach our long-anticipated goal of 400+ caches in a day. We are having a heap of fun and have the most perfect day for it. Another done and dusted here. TFTC Fishy Tales and kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand # 21,336**Otepoti/Dunedin is the place to be 26-27 October, 2024 for GCA7ZHD - Geo Toroa Mega! Please come and join in the fun, find heaps of caches and experience some wonderful Southern hospitality.**
SPINBNZ TEAM on our way to the Mega to catch up with our Friends doing a bit of caching on the way. Thanks for this letterbox trail. Fishy Tales
Today is our big day we are hoping for 400. Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie signing our logs as SPBINZ or sometimes SPINZ as BT has done a large number of caches on the Peninsula. TFTC #15772
IsisNZ and I have had several big days in the past but that magic 400 has always eluded us. Today was the day we could maybe put that right by combining resources with Paddlechick, Bullertrout and Nanzie. Signed logs SPBINZ (even though Bullertrout had already found some of today's caches). We couldn't have asked for a better day. Starting temperature for the day was 19 degrees, no sunshine and temperature didn't climb beyond the high twenties at any stage. I love travelling the countryside of Australia, one sees so much more than those tourists who stick to tar-sealed roads and travel from town to town.I do get a bit side-tracked when I'm caching and take time to enjoy the local flora and fauna. The plants are so obviously adapted to life in a dry climate, the birds are colourful and screechy, and the ants - - well, I've never seen such large ants or had such a vicious bite from an ant.I do love the pictures of the trails on the Yorke Peninsula, such creativity.Greetings from the Shaky Isles and many many thanks for setting up and maintaining this series.<*}}}< ??
TFTC Fishy Tales your cache Sea Horse 85 that we found today. We are camped at the Showgrounds in Maitland. The aim today was to complete the nearby Seahorse Geoart. Thanks for setting up this piece of artwork for our enjoyment. All caches were found relatively easily . A few had been blown around but we managed to find them and put them back.Find Count: 17919
Had ventured over to the Yorke Peninsula after a FTF and decided that after that was done it was time to go after the Seahorse. It's been out for just under a year and I've been wanting to get over for a look for just under a year. It's starting to show it's age but all bar one were found, that one, as I was certain it was missing, was given a replacement. Most of the rest were found nice and quickly with only three of four needing a bit more looking for. Many thanks to all those in the Fishy Tales group for another nice geoart series.Cache #14383 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Cant wait!!****
Found while travelling through SA with some other cachers. I am sure that they have the details!
Found today in a group consisting of Rabbitto, Alansee, Team Crackers, Maccamob, Micaparamedic, McLookers and myself. All signed as RAT4M.Many thanks to Fishy Tales for the cache.
Found by Mary and David in convoy with Rabbitto, Alansee, Team Crackers, Micaparamedic, McLookers and muzza, signing as RAT4M, at 11:38. Our last day caching the Yorke as a group.. Our thanks to Fishy Tales.
Touring the area today with Rabbitto, Alansee, Team Crackers, micaparamedic Muzza and maccamob. Logs signed RAT4M.Thanks for placing the cache Fishy Tales.
We found this cache today on our Western Yorke tour in company of the RAT4M group, which stands for Rabbitto, Alansee, Team Crackers, Muzza, McLookers, Micaparamedic and Maccamob. A big day traversing the dry and dusty roadsides of Yorke Peninsula. Thanks from D & HA B-A
After finishing of the Crab Geoart that we didn't get through yesterday we headed up to this Seahorse Geoart that looks fantastic on the map. Again we had all corrected the finals for these caches not long after they came out but this was our first chance to look for the actual hides. We found the majority of the hides we looked for were nice quick finds but there were a few that had us looking for a quite awhile even with this many eyes looking. We did replace two of containers but all the others were in good condition. The double containers is a great idea. Sorry for the generic log but doing so many in a day we loose track of interval hides. This does not mean we do not appreciate the enormous effort and expence gone into setting up the series as we really do.Many thanks ?? For the fun and laughs. To save room in the log book we signed as RAT4M (Rabbitto Alansee Team Crackers Muzza mcLookers, micaparamedic maccamob)
Caching from Perth to Canberra via the Nullarbor. TFTC. A great geoart. Grabbing as many as possible.
Now in Maitland waiting for harvest to start. Decided to head out before lunch and make a start on this series.TFTC Fishy Tales
Logging a find as part of the beta tester crew for this giant geoart series. A lot of work has gone into putting this series together. Thanks to Trail06 and your myriad of helpers.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor. We are on the home stretch now, just a few days in the Yorke to pick up a few caches. Thanks for the cache Fishytales.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. After spending some time in Peterbough and Minlaton we moved to Moonta to grab finds in the surrounds including the Seahorse series. Thanks Fishy Tales
Here we are, the 3 Stooges (weredunn4, WayneAPN and myself) hit the beautiful Yorkes Peninsula again.
This time we are targeting the Sea Horse series of caches and is often the case with us, no doubt there will be a few other bonus caches along the way.
A typical day out for us now, going hard for caches but truckloads of trash-talk, banter and laughs
All caches located & stamped, and most importantly, maintenance performed where needed.

Another 3 Stooges (Cheezel1961, WayneAPN, weredunn4) road trip to Yorkes to target the SeaHorse letterbox series, and a few more along the way, plus bakeries raided, carbs consumed, and the usual plethora of tomfoolery that comes with road trips.
Cache found and log stamped. TFTC!

Caught up with Mattycat for a tuesday trek to the Yorke after attending to the abandoned railway series we headed down the coast to this series, a few were found out in the open with teeth marks where they had been chewed, the soursobs made some quite a challenge but we managed to get through the whole series just as the sun was setting in the west

Up to some cachey business nearby with Mr Froghoppin , then off to find some more!
Another cute picture on the map - caches found signed and replaced, a couple fixed up, one or two found in paddocks and retrieved by fishing pole and some half eaten by rabbits, or foxes, or whatever beasties roam these parts. Nice to see the countryside looking so green.
A handful don't have their letterbox stamps anymore - but I guess not too many are really coming to stamp their own journals
Our grateful thanks for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance Fishy Tales .

Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]

Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
Special thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Accepted an offer from gridge98 to head out and clear up the Seahorse geoart. With earthlight also joining us for the day trip, we started by locating a couple of caches in the northern suburbs on our way to an event at Gawler.
Even though we had a late start (and an early lunch from the bakery) we had found all 87 caches in approx 2.5hrs.
Actually we found 88 out of 87.
I called "found it" on an original cache at GZ when literally at the same moment, only a mere metre and a half away, gridge picked up a recent replacement cache
The spare cache was useful in replacing a missing lid on another along the way.
We signed the caches as LEG to save space and time.
Caches were found in good, dry condition ]
Your efforts in placing and maintaining this series are greatly appreciated

This was a great series and our main target for the day, all 87 caches found in 2.5 hours with only finding 3 caches at one location and replacing a lid on another the caches are all good to go for the next finders. A great series indeed
Today I headed out with earthlight and LíB to the yorke peninsula to complete the new seahorse letterbox series, some of the caches were signed with our names or LEG, first headed headed to the event in gawler before making our way over for the series, before detouring back via some unfound caches in the northern half. A total of 116 caches for the day.
Thanks for the cache

A day trip north to collect some smilies. Some caching therapy after a solid month of designing puzzles and placing caches. I can’t pass the opportunity of good weather and a mid week public holiday. Respect to the fallen.
Caches were in good condition unless stated otherwise. I signed the log myself with my stamp or with pen and returned as found. Maintenance was performed if required to make sure caches were in good condition for the next finder. Thanks for the fun.

Catching up on logs. Apologies for the late log.
Completed this series with CPwanderer, SpidermonkeysMum, GoodLook and TheDame. A fun series to do with friends. Roads and parking were good, finals are in considerate places, accurate coords and hints.
A trip to the Yorke Peninsula with CPwanderer where we met up with SpidermonkeysMum, GoodLook and TheDame to complete the Seahorse geoart. We also completed some Adventure Labs, attended a couple of events and made several other finds during our stay.

Geocaching is always most enjoyable with friends!
I was delighted to be invited to join in on a geocaching trip on the Yorke Peninsula. We found a number of caches and attended several events including a CITO, and yours was one of them.
Please know that we wrote the initials "FR" to save space in most of the logs as a group name (fabulous randoms) to cover myself, GoodLook, CPwanderer, Gizmo's Gang and SpidermonkeysMum. Otherwise our caching names or initials were used.
Thanks so much for adding to the fun!

Found with 63Roos, ALL7 & DeafPhantom. What a adventure! . Fishy Tales, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
We wrote the initials "FR" to save space in the logs today as a group name (fabulous randoms) to cover myself, CPwanderer, TheDame, Gizmo's Gang and SpidermonkeysMum.
Nearly all were straight forward finds, but on perhaps 8 of them we all needed to search and search!
Quite unique to have a cache within a cache and 2 x caps and containers to hold whilst trying to unroll the log and write on it.
Awesome work guys, thanks so much for the Sea Horse fun!!
-------------------------------
A last minute decision to attend some events on the Yorke Peninsula ended up becoming a really lovely, very action packed, 2 very long days and 1 night adventure.
My alarm woke me up at 4am Sunday morning. I'd collected TheDame just before 6am, and we were off to Maitland to meet up with CPwanderer, Gizmo's Gang and SpidermonkeysMum by 8am to attack a Sea Horse, have lunch at the Port Victoria pub, and pick up some random caches prior to a dinner event..... and then it was another early start to find adventure labs, physical caches, an event and CITO - woo hoo!!!
Logs were signed with our own caching names or "FR" (standing for "Fabulous Randoms" - a made up group name to save space in the logs).

Will we see you at the Mega in Adelaide on 29 February 2024?
Check out GCA1DNA to log your will attend and to find out more.

Completed this great series with SpiderMonkeysMom, Gizmos Gang, Goodlook and The Dame!! A great day out... all caches found! We really appreciated the excellent coordinates and that none of the hides had been placed near farms or farm gates!! Signed the log as "Fabulous Randoms" (FR). All caches in excellent condition!! We then wandered down to the Port Victoria pub for an excellent lunch.... A big thankyou to the Fishy Tales crew who put these out!!
A weekend chasing sea horses! What better way to spend what could be the last of the nice weather.
Met up with CPw and GG for a copper coast catchup on the Saturday. Chinese dinner followed which was yum! Today we are in Maitland and teaming up with GoodLook and the dame and signing as FR. (fabulous randoms). Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when required. TFTC

Kadina Day 2
Today we teamed up with Gum-Ako & TK2 to complete the Seahorse.
All were easily found with very good hints.
It was good to tour the country side following the geocaching trail
Thankyou to the CO's for placing these caches.

Teamed up with DiMorgan and Tk2 to tackle the Sea Horse series.
It was perhaps the best series / power trail that I have completed..
Accurate coords, clean and caches in logical locations, safe roads and " easy as" pre-calculations for final locations.
Combined with great autumn weather and company, we finished up just after midday. We had plenty of time to have a look around Balgowan and enjoyed our picnic views with lovely coastal views with even a dolphin or two to add interest.
Thanks Fishy Tales - love your work
PS my favourite looking geo art too!

The series was a good coordinate spot with a hint's helpful . Enjoyed myself.
Find it and sign the log as EV, and thanks for the cache and hunt.

Stamped as JAMS (JJ52. Allister W, mogni, sir_spectre). Found with some or all of the JAMS crew.
Thanks
Thanks
The JAMS team were heading over to Yorke Peninsula for a couple of days to complete the new geoart along with some more of the fishing line that some of us still needed. It was also a trip to help mogni get closer to a major milestone. We had a fun 2 days with lots of different caches found as well as the Fishing Hook and line, Crab and Seahorse and we performed maintenance where needed.
Day 2, we left our accommodation early and found a few more of the fishing line before heading over to do the Crab then the Sea Horse along with some others that we were driving past.
Thanks for the cache Fishy Tales.

Found with JAMS ( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, Mitchell&hound plus sir_spectre ) crew. Mogni wants to get to 20, 000 by the Rutherglen Mega in Victoria and make that event her 20, 000 th. Targeted so multi's on the way down to get me closer to 1000 multi's, under 15 to go and got another 8 this trip. So we went out to get some parts of the fishing line geo art that some of the JAMS members haven't completed plus the " Crab ", " The Hook " and the " Sea Horse " geo art series plus some extra caches along the way. By request of one of the members of the fishy tales we swapped the logs sheets for new log sheets ( at least 350 ) and we also removed the 10 mint tins we found and replaced them with preform tubes. All containers found eaten, creacked, broken or with out lids were also replaced with the caches supplied bt the fishy tales group. By the end of the trip we had filled 1 and 3/4 quartes of a standard sized medium bin liner bag with log sheets and broken containers ( some containers not of the geo art series ). Only sighted 2 snakes while doing the geo art but i think i walk though at least 3 dozen spider webs. I found a trackable on the ground about 2 meters from the cache while doing the crab geo art, some people need to be more careful when carrying trackables in their pockets while caching. We stayed in Port Vincent over night. I even got my 18, 000 cache find this weekend, that is probably less surprising since i got just under 400 finds for the weekend. A good weekend away was had by all and it wasn't to hot but i wouldn't have wanted it any hotter.
I am trying to hit a major milestone in April and this weekend was my chance to get closer to my goal. the JAMMS (JJ52, Allister W, me, michells&hound and sir_spectre) generously helped me find 300+ caches and all caches were replaced better than found.
Thanks to Fishy Tales from mogni

Today I caught up with the rest of the JAMS crew to complete the Crab and Seahorse geoart. It was a great day not too hot and all caches found in excellent condition.
A few extra caches were thrown in for good measure and I finished the day with 200 finds and back home before 5pm. perfect day out!!
Thanks to everyone who hid caches for us to find .
Great series TFTC

I have come over from NZ to visit family and do a lot of caching. I am now on the Yorke Peninsula doing the trails and other caches close by. Have been out here before but there are lots of new caches now. Today I found every cache I looked for.
Stopped by to do some of the newest addition to the Yorkes Geoart...
Most found easily, and a few a lil longer to spot.
Nice work.

The Barossa series beckoned, so today with E.Gregory1, Featherwaite and TheWhiteDogGang an assault was planned.

Lovely Sea Horse geoart. Great roads, farmers only checking on your welfare, stamps, stamps, stamps. And the bakery in Maitland is great too . TFTC and series Fishy Tales.
Spending the weekend on the Yorke Peninsula exploring some new beaches and enjoying the sunshine. I also allocated some time to complete the new Seahorse trail.
All geocaches found. A handful proved a little elusive but my persistence paid off.
I have spent many days over the years working my way through the amazing Fishy Tales trails on the Yorke. Amazing work to place and maintain these trails.
Thanks for the cache Fishy Tales.

So it came to be that another fishing expedition was planned.
But you don't really go fishing for horses in the sea. But we did. More of a survey expedition than one where we wanted to catch and bag. This was to mark and carefully place back.
And catch and place back we did. When there are a few keen ones to do this, we decided to go as a group for efficiency and fun:
Logs signed as MABBS:
M Muff1
A Astro
B Brisal5
B Blackadders
S S A Sewer Rats
Now for some straight sea horses. A few more than what we found....

It was Tuesday and time for the Befuddled puzzlers to go for a Tuesday Trek.
There were 5 teams out Tuesday Trekking.
The teams were SA Sewer Rats, Muff1, Brisal5, Astro and Blackadders.
With all solved, we headed to the Yorkes, to the Sea horse.
All caches were found and in condition. Tftc

So another geoart offering by the Fishy Tails group on the Yorke Peninsula.
Solving all these did not take long but when to make the trip to grab all these new hides?
the Befuddled Tuesday Trek was when.
The group set off accompanied by the Muffs for a long day grabbing all of these series where we claimed a joint silver for all but a few then to one of the local hotels for dinner where to our surprise a few more unrelated caches were published in the area which meant a re visit to Moonta to gain a few joint FTFinds. The evening ended very late which had most of us returning home around 1am.
The Group consisted of
M Muff1
A Astro
B Brisal5
B Blackadders
S S A Sewer Rats
So all the geoart series was signed as MABBS and as always each player had a part to play in finding and signing the log books.
All caches were is good condition unless stated otherwise.
