We Dutchies are happy traveling with our campervan from Cairns to Brisbane Found this cache on our adventure TB in: 0TB out: 0
#5667Mathsnuts are over from the UK, visiting the inlaws. After some time in Brisbane and at Springbrook, we have now headed to Sunrise Beach for a couple of days. Panning around the geocaching map, looking for somewhere to visit, these botanical gardens looked like a fun spot, so we headed here after visiting Boreen Point. When we arrived at the gardens, there was a muggle at GZ, so we decided to wander around the gardens and then come back. We enjoyed our stroll around and found the cache very quickly when we came back, so we took a few minutes to admire the lovely view. TFTC
Found after our wander around the gardens. Nice area to visit. Thanks for bringing us here. All good at GZ and TFTC. Greetings from Wellington New Zealand.
Out this way on the way home to finish the lakes AL. Walked close to this on the way to the AL.
At the conclusion of a nearby event, Dora the Explorer! and I wandered over to find this cache. It was quickly located and the log signed. With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Out caching for the day in the Cooribah area prior to an event on the shores of Lake Macdonald. Today I found 9 traditionals and attended one event. Whilst attending the event not even 100m away, it would have been rude of me to not come and find this one. Chamad was well ahead of me and made the find whilst I was still walking over! Thanks for the cache AtTheLakeHouse.
Today I was lucky to get out and go north with Davidwazza for some long walks and some caches that were of particular interest. To be included and finish off the day was an event on the lake in cooroy area. It was a fun day and we got in a good range of caches some I had been to already, it was good to refresh the memory, and some that were just fun to get. On most walks I think at least one of us would have mentioned "this is a good leach area", lol. I know I thought it at most caches. However I ended the day with a full body check and no hitch hikers today, phew.We signed the logs and replaced the caches as they were found. We had two DNF's and a nice bag of types and sizes with DT's to match. Some good chats and we solved the worlds problems all in a day. This was a nice hide and one that I sat and enjoyed, the view and quiet at for a little while. Thanks for the cache here.
"Found this little magnetic marvel nestled in nature's nook! It's like finding a tiny treasure in the great outdoors, a real magnetic attraction! Thanks for hiding it in this picturesque park, it's truly a cache of tranquility amidst the chaos of life. And hey, even though it's nano-sized, it still packs a mega punch of fun! Happy caching!"
What a lovely spot around 1400 with a gentle breeze coming off the water. Worth a favourite.
Accio 09:59:26A great weekend away with T4mmmy, and today is too hot for being outside ... so we went chasing lakes instead. Found a lake near here, and grabbed this cache as well. Thanks AtTheLakeHouse for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12103}*
13.15 Came to do the AL, got a bonus a trad. Signed log and replaced. Thanks to CO. Log just about full.

I can’t believe I didn’t look for this one a couple of weeks ago when I was here, paddling – anyway, turns out I’m back again for a theatre production of Shakespeare today and during intermission it was a nice quick little find TFTC AtTheLakeHouse
Came up from Toowoomba area to paddle with the CO for an event with lots of happy paddlers... after a paddle I noticed this cache on the map between swatting bugs and eating sausages.... sneaky little hide in a beautiful location... Took a drive up the Bruce this afternoon to find a cache in a beautiful area. Once at GZ it was a quick find, stayed for a while relaxing in the sunshine. TFTC AtTheLakeHouse

This was searched for before heading off to the COs nearby event. A search by a few sets of eyes made us realise that this was missing.
Luckily the CO was on hand a new one placed.
Signed as Calm to save logging space.
It is indeed a beautiful place.

On completion of our paddle on Lake Macdonald, our group, Geo Six, (RoddyC, hatzofff, Grannysmith1947, patrol14, imbunda and myself) joined nikid1 to find some land based caches before driving our separate ways.
Most caches were relatively quick to find and were in good condition.
Thank you, AtTheLakeHouse, for placing this good hide. Sure is paradise here, so it deserves a FP from me ??

An event brought us to the lovely Lake Macdonald where we met with an enthusiastic group of paddlers and afterwards continued on to find all the caches placed around the lake. The weather was perfect with sunshine and little to no wind. Such an enjoyable day with a total paddle of about 14km. Thanks for replacing this one for us to find AtTheLakeHouse. I agree with the cache title!
Up the Coast for a long weekend so Geo6 - RoddyC, Hatzofff, Snickersallan, Patrol14, GrannySmith1947 and me could paddle on Lake McDonald and do general caching around about.
Paddle completed so joined with nikid1 to do a few landbased caches before she headed home. This was a quick find on dry land. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC

Today a group of keen geocachers came to attend ATL event on Lake McDonald. GEO Six were all on the water and enjoying the beautiful day and the caches on offer. Even saw LLJ in his ultralight flying overhead.
After our paddle we headed to this cache before having a well earned sausage sizzle. Certainly was paradise on the water today.
A favourite point from me .

We assembled at this location readying for the kayak event, and it just made sense to grab this cache first. However, with the couple of prior DNFs, it was then confirmed by the CO that it was indeed missing. A shout-out was put out to see who had a relevant alternative, and the cache was replaced accordingly. The new cache container and logbook were in good shape, and we signed the log as "Calm Waters" to save space, as that felt like an appropriate name for the paddling group today. Thanks AtTheLakeHouse for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

During this extended weekend, [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I stayed in Noosa Heads. On Friday, we hiked in Noosa National Park visiting Boiling Pot, Dolphin Point, Fairy Pools, and Hell's Gates. On Saturday, I attended the local parkrun followed by a kayak paddle of Lake MacDonald whilst attending the [Four Mountains, Four Directions](https://coord.info/GCA5T0A) event, and then we visited the River Entrance Beach on Noosa Spit towards the north-west in the afternoon. Finally, on Sunday morning, we had breakfast on Hastings Street and then did a small walk in Noosa Heads, before driving back home.
Today, I had an early start and attended Noosa parkrun to start the day with a 5 km run. Following that event, I visited a few geocaches in the area whilst making my way to Lake MacDonald. It was a rather tiring yet enjoyable paddle as we made our way from the western side towards the south-east, detouring through the [Four Mountains, Four Directions](https://coord.info/GCA5T0A) event. It was then a few final stops driving through Cooroy and Noosaville as I returned back to our accommodation.
The afternoon was spent with the family visiting Noosa Spit. We walked around the area and relaxed at River Entrance Beach, before extending our walk along Noosa Main Beach and grabbing dinner at the surf life saving club.

Coming up today to experience your little piece of paradise, and I agree. It is! After the wonderful paddle, we made a group find on this one. TFTC, AtTheLakeHouse. =^.^=

What a stunning viewpoint this is, especially very early in the morning when the sun has newly risen, the lake is as calm and still as glass, and the mist hangs over the water. Paradise!
This cache was signed by 'CALM' during the excellent but strenuous geocaching/kayaking event, "Four Mountains, Four Directions".
For some strange reason, some muggle had decided that they needed to add a magnetic nano to their collection and had stolen the previous cache, but the CO kindly replaced it so that we could sign it.
Thanks for bringing us all to Lake MacDonald, AtTheLakeHouse. Yes, you are 'Still' Living in Paradise. TFTC

Attracted back to the Lake today by a nearby event, the conditions were picture perfect for kayaking conditions - glassy calm and some some good company.
After a long paddle, I packed up and tied down my yak. Whilst waiting for Seffnjarah and Swellerfungius to finish packing up, I wondered over and took a seat. Hey presto, a cache.
Many thanks, AtTheLakeHouse.

As part of the Calm Paddlers I can safely tick this one off the map. I haven’t launch from here before, nor explored the Botanic Gardens. Happy to say I’ve done one of those now . The other will have to wait.
Ocw the Bebes. No luck at the obvious spot but we sat and admired the view a while. Tftc

Staying nearby for a few nights. We’ve never visited Lake MacDonald…..so glad we did today !
We enjoyed the view and the quiet but left without a smilie, couldn’t find this one.

What a georgous spot so peaceful. And the Botanic Gardens are beautiful too. Found this little guy very easily not to many muggles around. TFTC
After lunch nearby, headed to Lake McDonald. Sauntered over to GZ. A nice quick find. Signed the log and returned to where I found it with being shielded against mugged sitting in their car. Enjoyed watching a guy on his battery operated kayak with his dog just motoring around the lake. Thanks AtTheLakeHouse. All good with this cache
Found with Janetwil on a very hot afternoon. My first cache in quite a while. Cheers
I did a (big) detour on my way home to GZ where the cache was spotted in a beautiful place overlooking the Lake. I then realised I didn’t have my caching bag with a TOTT to extract the log. As I was thinking about how to get the log out a car pulled up close by and it was a cacher who had a tool in his car. Problem solved and we both signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Nice to meet you Paul (novice1). Thanks AtTheLakeHouse for showing us your part of the coast.
